Chell saw the conditions of the testing facility and decided that she was not going to stand for it. At 9:50, I was curious to see if there was maybe a prop-boosting setup that could be done, with the extra height giving you slightly more horizontal coverage. I know you can perch on certain tiny ledges and objects in the room. After about an hour of testing, which is about as much as I could handle, I came within pixels of making it into a portal from boosting off a camera. I think a much better player than I could do it, so that may well not be an obstacle to the all-crouch run. Looking forward to Portal 2... those acceleration gel segments will require some creativity. Also are you planning on doing the co-op mode of that game? I don't know if it counts as a whole separate game like the HL episodes would, but there probably is sufficient distinct content.
@@KazyMatmanI think that would be interesting, and besides, I think co-op is not nearly as saturated with videos as the base game is (not complaining or assigning value to either, just stating that co-op has less coverage.) I'd volunteer for co-op, but I've definitely always excelled at the figuring things out part of puzzles and failed dismally at the actual execution. Portal was a good illustration of it, it took me an embarrassingly long time to beat the game because I figured things out extremely quickly and then spent ages failing simple movement. That and getting distracted by random easter eggs that I'd already seen but couldn't help going for anyway.
In chamber 19 you can completely skip platform ride, by using portal stand (this still will work while crouched) technique, due to in portal 1 portal shot takes quite long time
Probably could've used flings to skip a good couple of the middle chambers, like the double button puzzle in Chamber 15 or all of Chamber 14. And you can portal bump into the final room of Chamber 17 without the lifts.
Personally, I never stood while playing portal. I was seated in my gaming chair the whole time.
That would kill my pinky finger if crouching wasn't togglable
Trust me, I know. I held it down for all of Half Life 2 because I didn't know about the command.

I might try the coop. I'll need to see if one of my friends is willing to torture themselves with me.

This video is missing from your Portal Challenges playlist.
Since tf2 by technicality has a beatable mode in the training mode they supply, it has to be on the list of games you need to beat while crouching.
It is a valve game so I'll try
i love ur videos so much you should make a video about cruelty squad
soo are you gonna do tf2 after you're done with the portal2 multiplayer?
I'll look into it. I'll definitely try the tutorial.
