@@KylerFlame yeah, the problem is that those textures are from episode two, portal 2 has them, you can fix it all by packing the assets into a vpk which is the proper method
@wieiisherepico just play the old one then, its supossed to be a remastered/better version, l4d1 in l4d2 uses most of the original sounds and stuff but they are improved, even the zombie models are improved not the original some sounds however are the new ones and not the old ones, valve hand picked what is best or bad, to make then feel the same universe. same should be done here, and i don't think the elevators should stay the same nah, the new visuals in portal 2 are much better, this should be changed as well.
Very great mod but their some problems here: The Elevator in level transition has been messed up since chamber 04-19. The Neroutoxin Timer count down timer is messed up in the GLaDOS battle. Despite it's (00:00:00) flashing in the game. The Portal momentum in escape_02 when higher does not work when flinging at (1:03:35) The Rocket Turret does not function properly. But however their is a fix for it. The Portal 2 Antlines don't fit in the mod. Cause Portal 1's antlines were used in the game, and they were different than Portal 2. In bee mod they used it differently when you use the p1 style in beemod. (which it's just nothing to do with that). The observation room floor texture is incorrect since it uses Portal 2's texture. Which it shouldn't use Portal 2's observation floor room texture. It should use Portal 1's observation room floor texture. Some textures in the port are not even correct like in the dlc as it should do the same as Portal 1. The stalemate button is incorrect. Because it shouldn't use Portal 2's stalemate button on the dlc because it literally doesn't fit the style of Portal 1. Instead by using Portal 1's stalemate button just like some beemod maps when they use P1 style. The Turrets needs to be in Portal 1 style. Because using Portal 2's turrets don't fit the Portal 1 style. Some GLaDOS voicelines are bugged. But hopefully it will be fixed in the future. This happens when your destroying cameras in a test chamber, or at times when the dialog abruptly cuts off for no reason when GLaDOS is talking. (which albeit they removed a camera destroyed dialog like in the development of Portal 2) At the ending there is whitefog in cutscene when you enter the cake room, and the song is incorrect while it plays Want You Gone. Even Portal plays the Still Alive song. When the cores drop off they will use a different style like from Portal 2. In Portal it doesn't. Which Idk why they removed it in Portal 2 during final release. But I heard Portal 2 Community Edition is fixing the issues that Portal 2 is having. So I might've just wait until it finishes when Portal 2 Community Edition comes out. I could say your doing gods work but hopefully can't wait to play it. It's really a good port of yours of doing it. EDIT: If there is any flaws. Please let me know.
@TheCoreOnlyOne known issues, the transition is a code bug in builds after oct 2015 neurotoxin and rocket turret need vscript to make it work the goal of this mod is to introduce the og via a dlc, thanks it's possible that ive missed the floor texture replacement the ending issue has to do with a bleach effect and the fact that the exposure curve is different than the original source 1 branch glados lines not playing are because the code for the destroying cameras was removed in p2 credits entity is incompatible the cores can be fixed via vscript
