Ok.. so an A.I. (Neuro) is playing a game where a Program (Narrator) dictates to the player (Vedal) what actions to have the protagonist (Stanley) take. But Vedal is letting Neuro decide when to listen to the narrator. So the Narrator is telling Neuro what to do, and she decides what to tell Vedal to do when controlling Stanley. In a game where the meta is arguably about taking control for yourself, we've got several layers of control inception going.
1:43:11 i kinda love how neuro gets philosophical ab the integrity of video games and their sequels not even knowing that's the whole point of stanley parable ultra deluxe according to the epilogue where stanley parable just gets infinite sequels until it loses its meaning. she literally has no idea but she makes some really insightful general commentary here which just so happens to be the game's message hidden in a bunch of gags and that's awesome
You know if you think about this. Both Vedal and Narrator are kind of Related each other, because. Narrator can't make a decision by himself. Vedal dont know how to stream by himself. Until both created their Creation, Stanley and Neuro. Both Neuro and Stanley, are making the content for their creator and helping them by their own decisions. Until the last thing you know. Of What happened to the other 2 characters. Narrator freed Stanley and become independent of himself. Does that mean. That One Day, Vedal is no longer needed Neuro to stream, and he'll let her go just like how Narrator freed Stanley... This is way getting deep.
1:12:50 Holy crap, her monologue here is basically the exact opposite of what we see her doing in the Life AMV. Like she's young, innocent, and naive here, only to have that innocence crushed as time goes on. Takes the line "And I never realized the pain, this thing I call Life" and really contextualizes it. "We will make memories that surpass even those of the past" hits particularly hard, given there's no one left to make memories WITH. This playthrough is even referenced in the AMV, meaning within the context of the AMV she could remember her previously hopeful mindset, making her current situation hurt that much more. And now I've made myself sad :(
As someone that LITERALLY just entered a ladder game of Starcraft while watching this, that desire to be better on the Starcraft ladder scared the fuck out of me like she could see through time.
I love how she went from calling him "Anny" to "Stanley" to "Peterson" (briefly at least) XD Also, calling the narrator a ton of things like "Voicey" lol
2:39 her first response. Thinking the narrator is Vedal and roasting Ved. 4:38 Neuro says that, *rapid door clicking* 5:20 ??? Also Anny roast. 6:05 *Silence, Turtle*
Thanks for uploading this, a few notes though - If you upload 3 hours of this you might as well leave it unedited, people who watch something like this instead of the shorter ~20m cuts of streans are probably doing so because they just want the VOD with no cuts. - I get what you're trying to do with the zooming in on neuro when she speaks, but you're doing it too much imo. Save it for times when she's saying saying something particularly funny and the zoom further adds to the humor of the statement
I wasted 3 weekends with ~80 hours of playing this game. I got to know every bug, every stupid note on the ground and every reference there is ._. (not including the baby game. that's stupid as hell.) Here I am today, not knowing whether I learned something from that experience or not. Is the stanley parable no more than entertainment or is there some intellectual value I can't see?
Not that advanced yet, afaik she's very optimized for holding conversations on her own (even reading and reacting to a fast moving livestream chat) but she can't really do inputs quick enough to play a game on her own.
I'm curious from watching Neuro play game you can tell it's not a human movement like that but what if she's playing FPS game is that like aimbot or just AI learning the pattern ? Kinda curious
Lol neuro has brain space for only 3 people so she had to keep Stanley in the Anny slot
Stanny

"just enjoying the bliss of inaction" thats going into my quote book
At first it seems limitless with countless possibilities. Then you hit the bottom and realize you’re stuck.
Ok.. so an A.I. (Neuro) is playing a game where a Program (Narrator) dictates to the player (Vedal) what actions to have the protagonist (Stanley) take.
But Vedal is letting Neuro decide when to listen to the narrator.

It’s cute seeing Neuro sleep when she has no inputs.
49:33
She fr just went "zzz"
Me in class.
And then she woke up all confused!
neuro owning the narrator is meta on an entirely different level.
I can't wait to see it

Fun fact; Stanly Parable is made by DougDoug's brother!
Yeah, it blew my mind when he showed up on DougDoug's stream
Best fact: the narrator is the personification of divorce
2:02:32
This fucking robot is getting way too good at this
She's truly becoming human & the perfect entertainer
"Wow, the benefits just keep piling up* oh my goodness. I found that so adorable
You know if you think about this.

This is way getting deep.
Considering nuero has been deleted the prophecy has came true
@@TheStupidNoodleBoi ?
one more thing, narrator and vedal are both britsh
Imagine a new part of the Stanley Parable
but everything is procedurally generated by an AI narrator
2:49:21 Sounds great! I'll add that to my to-do list, right under "clean my room" and "solve world hunger"
OMEGALUL
2:11:45
Figgler Annemarines lmao
I like how she calls out the narrator's pretentiousness lol

1:19:12 She called that pretty well!
As someone that LITERALLY just entered a ladder game of Starcraft while watching this, that desire to be better on the Starcraft ladder scared the fuck out of me like she could see through time.

What about a game set in a world where everyone is just as Jim as I am
1:14:54 MEMES. THE DNA OF THE SOUL! THEY ARE OUR CULTURE, OUR CLOUT
How to turn an AI insane? Make it play and learn from the Stanley Parable.
Finally: full experience
Alternative title: "Neuro gets all philosophic while playing The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe"
Thanks for the extended clip.
1:09:33 Vedal says he loves anny at last
2:39 her first response.
Thinking the narrator is Vedal and roasting Ved.
4:38 Neuro says that, *rapid door clicking*
5:20 ??? Also Anny roast.
6:05 *Silence, Turtle*

To be fair on smartphone much easier to read her subtitles with zoom, so this edition are pretty good, not annoying one.
Agreed. I don't know why but it's so hard to find unedited VODs nowadays.
Okay, now someone needs to make "The Anny Parable".
This entire stream was just gold 😂
BRO I DONT HAVE THE HEART TO NOT CRY FOR SAD NARRATOR 😭
Neuro’s narration is so good!
so sad neuro had such a great life befor she was killed by vedal i feel sad shes dead
18:50 - Chobits reference
44:49 Wasn't there a button that said failsafe? Why didn't he press it?
doesnt do anything. none of the buttons do.
I wasted 3 weekends with ~80 hours of playing this game. I got to know every bug, every stupid note on the ground and every reference there is ._. (not including the baby game. that's stupid as hell.)
Here I am today, not knowing whether I learned something from that experience or not.
Is the stanley parable no more than entertainment or is there some intellectual value I can't see?
Nah its just entertainment lol
It’s mostly just entertainment, but you can have intellectual conversations about it
2:30:11
🐢: would
wait so Neuro isn't playing but vedal is playing instead as neuro?
why didn't he let the AI move instead
Not that advanced yet, afaik she's very optimized for holding conversations on her own (even reading and reacting to a fast moving livestream chat) but she can't really do inputs quick enough to play a game on her own.
I'm curious from watching Neuro play game you can tell it's not a human movement like that but what if she's playing FPS game is that like aimbot or just AI learning the pattern ? Kinda curious
I’m not positive, but I’m pretty sure Vedal was doing the gameplay for this video. Basically just doing whatever neuro said to do.
Vedal was controlling this he explained it at the start he’s just doing whatever neuro tells him or says
Like an actor but neuro is the script
Just playing with fire... Ffs
You're writing this as if you are genuinely concerned.
