    I actually love the Panasonic LZ2000...best Oled picture i've ever seen through the years...I just hope Panasonic engineers can fix the newer model for 2023...the subwoofer speaker shakes the plastic on heavey bass causing me to lower the volume and raising my home intigrated amp higher...

    Can't wait. Also, low key, a feature that really excites me is the 60hz direct mode, since I play a lot of retro games and Switch, so this could be the fastest monitor on the marked if 1.5ms input lag is true combined with Oleds faster than LED response time.

    Good timing, Almost. Speaking to my main Panasonic retailer in Guernsey yesterday. Late July/ Early August is likely delivery to them. Panasonic always late compared to other offerings. As of this region I will be looking at how it it handles PAL, 50 Hrtz content, SKY box content from you and Vincent. Have to replace one of my Panasonic Plasmas this year. Can't wait for a proper review for this region centric info.

      Did you find out anything? I'm trying to choose between the LZ1000 and the 1500 and we watch quite a lot of free to air broadcast TV in our house. Also, LZ1000 - 'Master OLED', LZ1500 'Master OLED Pro'. Supposedly the same new EX panel with heatsink but it seems impossible to find out what the difference is between the two (so making it impossible to know whether to pay the £600 extra at 65").

    I would have thought that NOW TV would be classed as a major app? I have been a Panasonic fan for 30 years . I contacted Panasonic about the lack of the NOW app. And they told me they had no plans to make the app available on their TV’s .which was very disappointing. And now the 2022 model is out and still no NOW app , I think they are making a mistake. For that reason alone, I just bought a LG 55 A1 OLED tv with the App I need to reduce the number of cable and power sockets to get NOW TV .

      @trevhib Рік тому +3

      @@avforums Hi. I've seen multiple sources that report the 1000 does come with a heatsink (HDTV test, flatpanelshd, spark chronicles etc). Having looked again at the latter just now, they are the only ones who seem to know that there is a difference in the heatsink design between the 1000 and the other two models (which leads to a difference in peak brightness, 900 vs 1000 nits). This is the information I'd been looking for for the last few weeks actually. It makes sense, there is no way when the C2 produces 730 nits peak without a dissipation layer, that the LZ1000 would capable of 900 unless it had a heatsink.

      Did anyone find out what exactly are the differences between these 2? LZ1000 currently on sale and debating whether to get it over C2 or Sony A80k as they're pretty much the same price

    • @trevhib
      @trevhib Рік тому +1

      @@EsoTarek Peak brightness is one difference. If the continental reviews are accurate: LZ2000/1500 = 1000nits, LZ1000 = 900nits, LZ980 = 800nits. One of the other differences is in sound, the spec jumps each time. Lastly, the 2000/1500 have a heatsink, the 980 doesn't and the jury is out on the 1000 as to whether it does or doesn't. Most think it does, including Vincent, we know for certain that the C2 doesn't.
      I'd say the LZ1000 is a better unit than the C2, as the LZ1500 is better than the G2, plus it covers every HDR format, the LG's are missing HDR10+. This shows in the respective prices.
      If you're in the UK and watch a reasonable amount of terrestrial TV, then definitely, definitely get the Panasonic. If you're a big gamer maybe still consider the C2.

      Yup, G2 is definitely the 77“ to get this year. I‘m not gonna move my center speaker lower and further away from the screen just because Panasonic still hasn‘t understood how useless an integrated soundbar is in a home theater enthusiast product. I‘m gonna stick with my G1 for now but I‘m worried about next year because Sony still hasn‘t figured out the gaming stuff, LG won‘t use QD-OLED panels and Samsung overbrightens everything and can‘t even be calibrated in game mode. So Panasonic might be the only real option but I don‘t want that stupid soundbar… also not in 2023 🤦🏻‍♂️

      The LZ1500 is the one without the soundbar and up-firing speakers, but the same panel and picture quality as the 2000. It was designed just for the use case you suggest, just no 77-inch this year.

      There are many people who would like a tv with good integrated speakers. Not everyone wants their home to sound like a cinema everyday.

      TVs with included Soundbars are extremely rare and you are mistaken if you think that all Premium buyers are "enthusiasts".. There are many normal people out there with lots of cash that want a premium design..
