Very proud owner of an X-T4. I don't feel the need to get one of the newer models because I feel making the effort to learn the right settings for photography and video will be more than enough to get the job done in any genre. Might even get a 2nd X-T4 if I go from semi to full pro. When it comes to autofocus, is it only the tracking where the X-H2s is superior or are there other factors? Reason I'm asking is when I use single point continuous or zone AF for action along with area AF for video, I feel the X-T4 is pretty awesome.
The X-T4 is still so capable! The X-H2s is a better video camera for sure. With the processor and sensor it has better autofocus tracking for sure. Subject detection such as animals, planes, trains etc I’d definitely wait a bit before upgrading at any point 🙏🏻
I have no need for the blown-up image size of the X-T5 with 40+Mpixel. Ridiculous. I am happy with my X Pro3, only missing IBIS sometimes for use with my slow vintage lenses. But Wife-acceptance- factor is not sufficient and my argument with midlife crisis is slowly wearing thin.
I'm probably overthinking it but I am afraid to wear out the lens mount of my x-h2s swapping between the 150-600 and 80mm lenses so much when outside photographing nature, I have considered a second hand x-t4 as a secondary camera for macro video and photos since quality wise it's very close with log and raw
The hard sell for the X-T4 is the X-S20. Only about $100-200 difference between them but the X-S20 has a newer processor, more video features, faster AF and new film simulations
I love my xt4!! I’ve had it for 3 years. Just went to Tokyo and shot a cinematic short film for my UA-cam channel and it held up so well ! Footage looked awesome ! It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to look at it lol

I owned the T-T4 and X-T30. I've now owned the X-T5 for more than year. The X-T4 is still great. The X-T4 maybe feels more robust than the X-T5. I believe the X-T4 might even 'scan' 50% faster than my X-T5 when using electronic shutter (reducing rolling shutter and barring). But there's no doubt the X-T5 is an upgrade (slightly lighter, more resolution, AI autofocus options, additional film simulation etc). Just not in anything that makes a big difference - unless you really need that resolution, which very few people do. I think the X-T5 may behave marginally better in low light than the X-T4, but that's always going to be subjective because the X-T5's individual pixel photocytes must be smaller and so are naturally going to gather light less consistently each - there's just more of them to even things out and make ISO fuzz more 'lightly dusted'. (As Scotty in Star Trek probably said, "you can't cheat the laws of physics, captain"). Note that the higher resolution means the X-T5's image files take up over 50% more storage space.
Its definitely not as good as the xh2s and xt5 when it comes to autofocus that is for sure! But its something you can definitely overcome, also with a fast prime lens which helps a lot
XT4 is still a solid choice!
Very!
Picked up a used x-t3 for dirt cheap in good condition on offerup. Im honestly happy with it
Its still so good to be honest!
I have Fujifilm XT-2 yet in 2024! And it's ok! And more than that, i have Fujifilm S5 Pro yet in 2024! And is gorgeous!!
Im loving these comments! Glad to see people enjoying the gear they have
Great review 👏! Anyone else like me and still shooting on the Fujifilm X-T4 in 2024? 📸🙋🏻♀
I do! And thank you 🙏🏻

My first Fuji camera! Still don’t have a reason to swap it out
Its a beast! Wait for the xt6 maybe 🤔

The xpro 3 is beautiful and such a good camera, I wanted to get my hands on one and try it!
XT4 is a steal in the used camera world. Holds up very well.
Yes Sir!
indeed. its still a great choice to have in 2024. its IQ is among some of the best cameras in the market today.
Definitely agree!
not a lot of lenses can fully resolve the 40mp of the xt5. even the supported 16-55 looks mushy if you zoom in. doesn't mean much, but it's still is

Hahaha I completely get that fear! And definitely xt4 second hand is worth it in my opinion

Very true! The video capabilities of the xs20 are even better. Agree with you
No wr and dual card slots
Yea thats the benefit of an xt4

this sounds awesome! Would like to see that short film!

This comment is great! Definitely agree with you 🫡
@@snapsbytaha Cheers :) Love your vids.
Even the xt2 still a great choice too
100%, I wish ive used an xt2 but I havent
What about the autofocus issues it had, especially in tracking?? I am planning to get xt4

How is the XT4 compared to the xt 30 Ii?
I would definitely go for the xt4! But if you want modern processor and sensor, id go for the XT50 or the XS20
XT3 is even more suited for photography with the articulating screen.
Xt4 is great for both photo and video if you want a B cam!
@@snapsbytaha Only if you need IBIS and larger battery. But for the price difference, I'd rather go Sony.
