I wanted to thank you for adding captions to your tutorials! I'm Deaf and they are extremely helpful for me as obviously I can't hear voice-over so watching the screen would be tedious. I enjoy "hearing" some of the commentaries/details people like yourself say during tutorials. I'm a video production / photography hobbyist and this is super helpful.
People like us really appreciate this amount of effort and it doesn't go unnoticed. Cheers!

    Love that animated outline effect!
This is great advice. It’s a genuine breakthrough when people stop just accepting footage straight out of the camera and begin to realize the important of adjusting it to fit the story. That’s when things can really begin to get interesting!

Watching this back to back with the latest video of Peter is just amazing. Although he's great even in this one, he has walked such a long long way! His latest videos are just pure pleasure to watch in their quality, content and pure connection with the viewer. I hope to get to that level someday. Peter - you are a true inspiration!

Peter, this is an amazing introduction to color correction and how it can be used to easily enhance the look of one's video work. You really should consider producing a 10- or 12-hour DVD or streamed tutorial series, taking the beginner cinematographer from Square One (knowing nothing) to Square Ten (highly advanced amateur/confident professional). You could do your peers a tremendous service and make some serious Benjamins along the way. Thank you.

Hi Guys- Firstly Thank you Peter for another brilliant vid. was only a few months ago and you were on 200k! Secondly i know most of us watch your stuff and mess around trying to learn new skills to use. This is where i am hoping someone can help. I run an IT college for about 450 students in a Village in Pakistan. my students are mostly from economically challenged backgrounds such as fruit and vegetable sellers. At the college we try to give them all the skills they need to be able to support themselves and their families and am happy to say we are doing Really well. We have students who are now in the market doing Web Dev, Software design and development and some are even working on Game development. What we dont have are people skilled in video editing and even the professional places here tried to make a video and it was a jumble of cuts that just looked like it was thrown together with no purpose. I am hoping there is someone here who can use clips of the college to put together a cool looking 1 minute video that our students can share on their facebook pages and websites. We are trying to instill in them that the conditions you are born in do not lock your potential unless you let it and tbh a crappy vid that does not dotheir college or that message justice would just be a big let down.. If any of you want to practice on some clips please give me a shout!
    Much love!!

DO NOT make black bars or crop the footage to create "fake" aspect ratio, because the real aspect ratio is still the same (say 16:9) and if someone has the intended aspect ratio monitor (say 21:9) the person will get a black frame around the footage on all sides

Just getting into video & PP. This is awesome. Great teaching style, very understandable coming from photography. Absolutely love cinematic looks. Actually, really excited me for the small projects I have coming up. Not to mention so inspiring to see how you've grown your channel in so little time. Epic!! I'm hooked :)
