No way!!! Honestly, your comment just made my year! 🙏 It means the world that you liked this video, but now I'll be super self-conscious about the quality of all future tutorials knowing that you're watching 😂🫡 Thanks for taking the time! 🙏
I really love those videos of "How to film like Gawx" So cool to see that your work is analysed and people see how much work and love you put into every project! :]
hey Gawx everypne even I praise a lot about your videos, cinematography/ediitng skills. but the ony reason why you shine is beacause you're doing it for your own fullfillment and that heps you tp bring life to a video.
This wasn't just a video, this was an entire Tutorial + Whole Course delivered in under 7 mins. Bravo to you sir and whoever edited this video. This is my TOP how to shoot like GAWX video.
all brands should learn how to create content like motion array does... no bs just the best way to do things and if possible they give MA option. RESPECT!
this video is genius and Gawx pulling up to give you ur flowers is telling! informative, visually stimulating, 7 minutes, done completely in the style you’re teaching us to emulate
This series is one of my favourites on UA-cam. You're making things so accessible for mere mortals like us. We'll never be the people you highlight but the inspiration we can take from theirs really moves us closer to discovering our own voice. Thank you, sincerely.
Wow! Thanks so much 🙏 Honestly that really means a lot to me. Your breakdown is super well said and exactly what I hope would come through with these videos. Makes me happy that might be what people are taking away from it. Thanks for taking the time! 🙌
Misleading title (since traditional filmmaking would define editing as the actual process of cutting the footage rather than all of the effects talk), but the content is absolutely fantastic. Thank you.
We think that editing has evolved to become so much more than cutting footage, especially when it comes to content creators like Gawx! At the end of the day it's all about gathering skills and knowledge and applying it to your video to make it the best it can be :)
Another great tutorial! Only if I didn’t come across it sooner… I spend hours researching Tilt-shift photography. And this short taught me everything I need to know in 1/50 the time….
It actually wasn't done removing the music, it was done by just completely re-doing just the SFX from scratch as close as possible to his original mix.
A lot of young filmmakers ignore the audio part, or they mix the sound themselves. I've seen a lot of great looking films but the audio was horrible. Everyone will notice that. Some people won't but they'll still say they can "see" that the film looks amateurish when in fact it's the audio part that triggers that response in them thinking that the film as a whole looks like it was made by an amateur.
Looks like I need to make another short video 😅 but TLDR is I just whipped 3 times, cut on the motion, and then in editing cut so that as soon as the whip pan stops I cut to the frame before my hands enter the frame, but you’re right, a video on it would be helpful
I think the fog overlay won't work and a gaussian blur overlay would work better, using the blackmist filters is my favorite too but making use of real fog is definitely something new
Well, there's no one clear-cut answer to that question really. It depends on cost, your current skillset, features, and more. Do some research and asses what would work best for you :)
fucking thing i wanted .. i knwo ny jsut watching this vid i cant make vid like gawx but what i get through this is video is the idea and concept ... thx buddy tha a lots !
amazing! but how does he do the narrative audio? it looks like he lips synchs so how does it work? You record the whole audio and then play it like a song on a music video shoot? but that means you need to learn it off by heart? thanks
Correct 😄 But the truth is that I record the voice over first, then I film lip syncing knowing the lines, then if it doesn't line up I re-record the Voiceover. But only for this video, trying to match how Gawx does it, and let me tell you it's harder than I thought 😅
I can edit like gawx style. But sadly I don't have a equipment because we are poor . And we can't concentrate in our passion in arts and multimedia because of other priorities and we don't have a lifestyle situation like gawx . Because he has a own room and as I know he is rich kid . And only one child. And also have a complete equipments etc. That can easily concentrate 100 % . But as I observation. as multimedia he's style is easily to learn. Only people don't have a talents or not artist who blown away in this. But there's alot of artist with multimedia passion can do what gawx can do if they have equipments and focusing 100% .
Hey man! I know it's hard at the beginning for every one who wants to create videos like him but we need to realise that when he started he also had less equipment and low quality films but he still kept his passion and went with the journey making him one of the greatest editors and artist we know . As always start from small and grow bigg .👊👊👊
This one is thankfully pretty simple. Literally each new piece of text is a different text box in premiere pro just sized and placed in different locations. Then make sure they end all at the same time and edit the starting point of each to be in the order you want the text to appear. It helps to start with the final frame and the final organization of the text and work backwards so that it ends in the exact orientation you want 😁
Not familiar enough with CapCut to say but.. probably? You can do at least basic editing for sure. Color grading is available with filters and adjustments.
That's 100% what we advocate for 😄 Every creator is inspired by someone else, the first step is to learn how to do something like them that you like. Step 2 is to implement it into your own work, step 3 is to repeat with different creators and eventually you have your own unique style 💁
No one “creates” their own style. We are all influenced by the works of previous creators in some way. If you watched Gaux in his early days, his videos were nothing like it is now. He eventually found his own style by learning from other creators and experimenting on his own.
ooh, I've actually never tried God Rays before so I couldn't say for sure 🤔 But we've actually got a Motion Array plugin that does something similar tinyurl.com/bdw4yw2r
You still did a good Job, but you can tell is low budget for Gwax, even if i know is not and you spend alot of time doing so. Also Gwax explained the Audio makes the most of the video ,and your video doesn't have good Audio songs sadly, so this might be a thing that change the video mood? Because Gwawx even music fits the video, so is more immersive.
Correct 😁 nice eye! The brighter the projector the better your experience will be without having to bump up your camera's exposure cause it will have a hard time competing with ambient light so the room needs to be pretty dark otherwise
haha no way!! I actually watch your tutorials and being part of one is truly a great honor!! You did an incredible job 🫶
