This is the first start of a Harley Davidson Sportster 1200c with L.A.F. ( Loud As Fuck) pipes. 1996 Carb/Solid mount bike with screaming eagle intake and jet kit.
hahaha, ok. If you can, you can up the gas tank (tank lift), and move the ignition coil and the sparks module (in the middle of the cylinders). The bike will look better.
Zach Wilkerson It's not an ironhead. Evo sportsters need a higher idle to maintain oil pressure. The owners manual wants 950-1050 rpm, this was probably 750.

So, I bought my bike used with LAF pipes on it. The owner didn’t rejet the carb, so it runs very lean.. and stutters because of it. I’m putting V&H Straight Shots on and a K&N air filter. After a proper carburetor tube up, we should be adding a good 20% torque and a few hp

Bikes in my city are involved in collisions every week some with fatalities so i put mini grenades on mine now when i roll into an intersection everyone in the neighborhood knows 🏍 LOUD PIPES SAVE LIVES! Nice job bro stay safe cheers from Ontario Canada.
Sounds nice! Just wondering how they mount to bike besides at the heads. Looking at a set but can't see where they would attach to the bike from the rear slots of the pipes. Do they just attach to each other with a bracket? Thanks
I only rode it once, but it felt plenty powerful with these pipes. Because of the seating position, the power is more off-putting than my zx6r. The bike wants to throw you off the back.
Never buy those pipes.. Your chaps will get burnt from the pipe being to close to the foot break. second when you`re stopped at a light the exhaust dumps out right where your leg is. Third if your bike is lowered at all you`ll never make a right turn.. Abd anybody else notice the wetard didn`t even look left when he was pulling out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that's not 750 i have three ironheads and an evo, the irons sit at 900 and sound slower than that, it's idling fine for an evo.

Why would you want your pipes to blow hot exhaust right where you leg is? Now you an't put that foot down at a stoplight! Fabulous.
Had to return some they set my ankle on fire after 10 min of riding only stopped at 2 traffic lights

Are these too loud? I've read some guys using similar pipes made their ear bleed and gave em headaches.

As I recall the pipes only bolted to the heads.
They just mount at the flange and the bracket to bolt the two together is right at the top of the last curves. It's solid

I was thinking about getting these cuz they sound good but they look like they would cause me to bottom out and wreck on a turn
I believe you can adjust the pipes backwards a bit for more clearance. This was a friend's bike, but I'm pretty sure that's what he did.

I had those and they do scrape the road at a very simple angle everytime you turn right.
