Sepp I you cannhear on his melody and how he push on certain words he is doing the sales person talk. It’s quite different from a relaxed speaking voice. You can hear the difference once in a while when he’s not ”on”.
After all it is a video where he is introducing the different features of the car so it’s not too odd. And had he probably doesn’t talk to her like that when the camera is off. 🙂
It’s so great to see the step-by-step challenge and complexity of getting the wheelchair in/out of the X (or any car). It helps to emphasize the need for all that space around the handicapped parking spaces, and why that’s essential. And Tesla - Yes!!

@@tonyradle8747 yeah I dont get it a normal car can get you 400 miles and takes 5 minutes to fill up. An electric car takes 30 minutes if you have a good battery and the supercharger and it goes 250 miles MAX in perfect conditions

I really go to school just to get attendance lol, I sit on the last bench and prepare for my competitive exams ( that I'm taking next year ) ,while teachers come and do their things. If not for that attendance threshold for sitting in exams, I wouldn't have gone to school for not for than one day throughout the whole semester.

I’ve only recently come across this channel to see a few of your videos and this one was particularly interesting for me. I didn’t know that Cambry had a disability and I saw the video where you were building an elevator in the living room and that was the coolest thing ever. Besides your videos being incredibly informative, you have such a gentle and caring disposition about you that it’s incredibly refreshing to see. I can see why someone like Cambria would love you and be very lucky to have you.

As Cambry demonstrated, it is nearly impossible to prevent damage to the interior of your vehicle while loading and unloading your chair. To add to the misery, add rain or snow and maybe sub-freezing temperatures. I use a Toyota van because I can just pop the whole chair into where the drivers side middle seat used to be. I wondered about a Model X, but even used they are ridiculously expensive, unless you have a UA-cam channel.
I know you may never read this , I commend how amazing your wife is and how she adapts with her disability , I hope she inspire others like her to be as positive as she is ... much respect

You should take out that left rear seat and “Jerry rig” something that pulls the wheelchair into the back.
Would be complicated as she has to get in the driver seat first.
@@meetv7700 I'm not so sure. A small jib crane with a few motors mounted to the rear chassis can be attached to the chair before she gets out of the chair. Once she is in the car just slap a button and have the jib crane pull the chair back into the car. Visa Versa when she gets out. The fact that the doors can be operated remotely and that the rear doors are gullwing make if a great base car for an application like this.
Get a remote controlled wheel chair that can be reversed after getting in.. and pulled by a crane on the falcon wing
In europe there are companies who build this for every car, it's a platform where you park your wheelchair and this platform folds in the car where the rear seat was removed

I'm always hot. I wear shorts in winter when everyone else is in a jacket. When all the women are shivering, I'm comfy. It's annoying always fighting to be comfy and not sweat at normal room temp.

As a paraplegic myself. I have a few tricks I use. 1 put your cushion upside down and on the passenger seat. You can have the front seat closer to the dash. 2 I drive a Toyota Tacoma. The little platform I use lifts me and lowers me. Plus it has all the features as the Tesla. Minus the electric stuff. But if you have to get gas plan it to be a multiple errand trip. Gas, groceries.
I feel like my cold, dead heart is made of an inferior plastic as it's got scratches at a level 2, with deeper grooves at a level 3.

5 years ago, I thought it was a terrible idea for cars to drive themselves. Now that these features (even if not fully realized) are proving to enhance safety and getting more reliable, I look forward to their assist on longer drives. Waiting for my Cybertruck with FSD delivery in late 2022. I hope it is out of "beta" by then.

It is 2021 and still we don’t have a proper wheel chair to make users life easier. They are heavy. Cumbersome. I can tell by the way she pulls hers apart and put inside. Wish makers would develop a model that is light, foldable or, I don’t know, easier to fold and transport. Amazing couple. Love their videos
Got curious, initially, about your conversion of the military Humvee to electric. That convinced me to subscribe. Then I started to wonder, "Why do I see wheelchairs, or other mobility aids, in many different shots?" I then was "suggested" by UA-cam the video of yours and Cambry's Q&A. Until then, I did not realize the different mobility items were for Cambry, as you only mentioned her once in your Humvee videos. My father has been a paraplegic since I was a kid, 50 years now. He usually folds his chair (a well used Everest and Jennings) and transfers it behind him. His habit has been to enter from the passenger's side since he came home those nearly 50 years ago, so he has never transferred from the driver's side, except for rentals when he travelled. If he can get a vehicle with no console and hand controls, that is when he is happiest, because he is a creature of habit.
