Wow! An EV with instant superior torque and 195 extra HP won!!! Didn't see that coming... The strange part is that this is the slowest Urus on this channel... 2 years ago Urus was doing 11.7s on wet roads... Weird...
I wonder if Matt will ever be allowed to use a Pagani for anything. Even just a review or something would be amazing to see, I think he'd have a great time with something like that
Dusty track, heat n humidity effects on the da, type of gas in it, miles on it, tire tread depth left&type of tire used etc. Evs usually aren't effected by altitude humidity etc as much as ice vehicles are. More advanced traction control to on evs vs ICE. So they post more repeatable results time after time. 👍🏻
I thought the OP was joking but I guess not.. internal combustion is limited at higher altitudes. Less air, less horsepower. Fly to Denver Colorado and try to go for a run. You'll have all kinds of problems until you get acclimated. 😉
Tesla's declared horsepower must be low because the Model 3 will have 520 horsepower and the cyber truck will have around 1000 horsepower in dyno measurement. dyno test needed urgently
Strange how people need lots of horsepower to drive anywhere these days, ive never had a car with more than 155 hp and never had any problems whatsoever getting anywhere!

Says the broke caveman
i vote for making the drag races to 1/2 mile 😅
I have a friend that has a model X and i remember flooring that car and the speed of that fully electric car going all out it feels so....idk how to put it, ive been driving sport cars since the late 80s, from Porsches to Supras and it just mindblowing what those Tesla cars can achieve, its like u are glyding on cement, the acceleration its just wow. And this monster Cybertruck to leave that Urus in the dust like its a joke, its really impressive what that car can do....the chasis however is an acquiered taste 😂
Feels like a rollercoaster
Just waiting for the review. "Here's the new Cybertruck....and it's a bit like Lara Croft's chest on the PS1..."
Do we have another drag race of the two vehicles done far from a Tesla gigafactory? I am not trusting the results of this one. A lamborghini takes off faster than what I saw here🤔🤔🤔🤔
Whether it's an acceleration test or a braking test, the two vehicles maintain the same distance and positions.
So were not gonna talk about how this urus is suspiciously 1 second slower in the quarter mile ?
I’m looking for an off-road test of the cyber truck. Wanna see it in both really steep and muddy terrain as well in really cold weather with lots of snow.
Wasn't designed for that tbh its a mall getter
It's not an off road vehicle. It's a workers truck, not a 4x4
@idontknow8898 once people start testing it off road we will see but you haven't seen it off road so what your saying is just an assumption
@@idontknow8898 Workers truck for me needs to be able to do off-roading 😜. A truck that only works on asphalt is really useless for me.
They did take it on the Baja, look into that for info…
Finally, steering wheel on the left side on car wow. Been waiting.
I thought the same :)
I wish I could be one of the construction workers there on lunch break watching you guys race. I am sure they are placing bets out there
No point in placing bets.
They would have just been laughing if they could hear those guys guess what kind of equipment they were looking at
Dream big! Why not be the driver lmao
Its shape is awkward though😅
Wow! An EV with instant superior torque and 195 extra HP won!!! Didn't see that coming...
The strange part is that this is the slowest Urus on this channel... 2 years ago Urus was doing 11.7s on wet roads... Weird...
Like with everything there is an asterisk involved with Tesla results. I didn't think it was even possible for a Urus to run that slow.
Still would've lost.
I wonder if Matt will ever be allowed to use a Pagani for anything. Even just a review or something would be amazing to see, I think he'd have a great time with something like that
3:17 is when the first race starts
How did this Lambo become so much slower? 12.3s and 11.5s is a HUGE difference
not really they post repeatable times on the Lambo everywhere else@@4literv6
Lambo wouldn't win anyway, internal combustion can't keep up with an electric motor. ICE is a dead man walking.
I think the LAMBO Lmoo2 is faster.

You can do a simple horsepower calculator based on weight and time and see what they really are producing.

The fact that a +3 tonne vehicle can beat a just over 2 tonne Urus like that is just insane
Their power to weight ratios are similar but the cybertruck is electric so it can deliver torque faster and therefore beat the urus
Tep, its kind like having one pulling a small caravan haha
@@Mr.Engine993 Yeah kinda obvious... hence why it's insane - that a 3 tonne vehicle built by a relatively young car company can smoke a 2 tonne Lamborghini (in a straight line) which is an established brand with a historical reputation built on speed and racing is my point. And yeah before you say it, I know the Urus would likely smoke it around a track. Either way it's still insane.

I think there's a good idea there, it just looks unfinished to me, like a very early concept thumbnail sketch lol. And not for anyone to look at, but for the artist himself to start with, and continue from there. I've seen various artists sketches, or take a cybertruck photo into photoshop and change stuff around, add some stuff, and they made some really cool looking renders without a ton effort. Which is why I say there's a good idea there, the fact that they didn't have to add or change too many things, but the little mods they did make made a huge difference.

Wow!The box with wheels obliterated the expensive Urus.
A more interesting test of Tesla truck and a Petrol vehicle would be a race around the Nurberg ring or an endurance test in very hot or very cold weather. How about a race from east to the west coast of America? The Teslas all have huge electric motors which have alot of torque and so are quick off the mark, I get it.
The problem with long distance racing is the speed limits on the public roads.
Electric vs gasoline, the electric is pretty much assumed to win. What is the match-up of a FOrd F-150 Lighting Pro vs the Cybertruck?
The 200 less HP really isn't doing the Urus any favours. It might weigh 1000kg less but it's also got a heck of a lot less power when it matters past 2nd gear because thats where the race is won. All that weight doesn't matter when you have all of the 850hp and close to 1000nm of torque right from the word go.
It's just instant torque that makes the difference. You are obviously new to EV's..
Also the Urus costs more than 2.5X the cost before you get it out any door.

@@jamesfynnhere6983Nope, poor design.
@jamesfynnhere6983 Those are standard AT light truck tires. They are not mud tires. Most mild treaded mud tires I've ever seen. Doesn't matter the tire when your weight is 40 to 50% more. Doesn't matter if you force each tire to slow with the motors either. Distance will still be much further or the tires will break contact and you'll slide. It's a completely impractical rich guy toy.
