I wish dealers would stop putting their cheesy emblems on the back of cars. No one wants to drive around with your dealer name on the back of their nice car.

They might be faster but CTS-V has way more personality.

Just watched the 2019 Cts V demo from Canada. Question canada used the have different emissions and equipment then in the Us. Is that still the case?

I'd take this over any Corvette or ZL1. Hands down without a question. I can't believe Cadillac is discontinuing the CTS-V after 2019.
It's now or never to buy one new and 2019 has lots of tech upgrades and ECU updates.

since CADILLAC INSIST ON an Automatic transmission, what's wrong with the 10sp-auto. works great on the performance v-8 Camaro.
On par with 2017 ZL1 with 2016 ZO6 LT4 supercharged engine. Cadillac luxury muscle car.

Beautiful car. It is a shame a lot of American vehicles do not compete internationally. It would be nice if we had an answer to foreign luxury sedans and sport vehicles. Quality and look.

Nice car but I don't see a lot of them in my area which is an urban/suburban high end area. The car is rather small and I'm wondering if that hurts sales. I love the car.

Good to know! The 2018 was an absolute blast to drive, especially with that carbon package. Good luck getting it sold! Hopefully there's a better market for this car out in Manitoba than there is here in Québec. Even the regular CTS doesn't sell much in the province anymore, only a few dealers bother ordering them. It's all about the XT5 and Escalade!
@@PRNTestDrive I have a 2018. The only thing I noticed different is the rubber insert in the wireless charging bay in that hidden storage behind the climate controls seem to be slightly redesigned to accommodate larger phones. CUE was changed in the 2017.5 model. It's really nice and quite usable now.
Also 2 color options changed.

I believe you may have incorrectly referred to the parking assist buttons as parking brake. Is 'auto start/stop' no longer able to be turned off?

Just dont understand why this car or even the Charger hellcat are not all wheel drive or have it as an option. Mercedes e63s have all wheel drive now the BMW M5 also offers all wheel drive. In Canada like here in parts of the U.S snow falls so why not offer your high performing flagship vehicle all weather capability to rival their European counterparts open up your eyes GM/Dodge.
Because you would get 10 miles a gallon 😂😂 I get it if you can afford the car you can afford the gas but in all reality its going to get annoying filling up every day.
@Daver G On the old R/Ts there was a 1.5 mpg difference combined. Also, if you're flooring this car, ovbiously you're not gonna go through a tank in a day, but its going to go very fast.

The black chrome keeps it classy. Matte black is difficult to get done right aesthetically speaking.
