- Step-by-step instructions for the very cheap and easy motorcycle phone GPS set-up that I used when took my Ducati Panigale V4 on a roadtrip to Austin, Texas last year. I can also switch it easily to my MV Agusta F3.

the camera issue with vibration is only if your lense is "stabilized" Since your phoen is likely an iphone SE 2016. ( i ve had 2 of these phone and i bought the second one 6 years into the first one before it broke because i knew i wouldn't find another one after.)
Anyway, the relevant part is that the iphone SE 2016 doesn't have a stabilized lense and will not break under vibration because there are no springs into the camera.
So your set up is fine but your experience doesn't mean anything for someone with any other models including the SE 2019 wich i believe is stabilized.
i love your vids i watched the entirety of the trip to texas. You re a cool guy do not hesitate to make it longer.
Also i m getting an answer before this friday for a job that will get me my own V4S .

i never liked the mount things, never trusted them to keep the phone in place on high speeds and/or bumpy roads.

Where did you connect the charger wire to the bike?
My V4 came with a battery tender plug already installed. The plug sits just under the top triple tree. Then you just need to buy a battery tender/usb connector to plug in your phone.
A road trip for August? Its month end almost where is the road trip video 😁
