If it spawns, it will spawn around you not anywhere on the island from what I know, so if you want to spot them easily then just a flat sandy island would be ideal.

The idea for this topic came when my crew got raided and everybody started dying a few seconds after each other. I asked myself: if everybody waited in the Ferry of the Damned for the others to arrive and for their doors to open, so that the whole crew spawns at the same time, if we would be better off than if each person spawned individually. In theory, the answer is yes: if everybody spawned together in the same deck, we could overwhelm the enemy by surprise, rather than one person getting ganked on at a time. But then I realized that everybody will probably spawn in different parts of the ship! It would be great if you could investigate how often you'll spawn in the deck or in the holds, and whether this is affected by the presence of crewmates or even enemies on the deck. This will probably involve dying over and over in different situations so you can gather statistical data.

I am a user for all weapon types in certain situations... blunder is a really good weapon for bording and to stop borders... I take skill to under stand the times to use it 1 miss fire can be the end but in some cases it is just a aim and shoot weapon (Edit) I use the blunder just as much as any other weapon and all the weapons have good and bad sides

So i have a question... Lets say you and your buddie sail the seas and you get boarded by someone. (tuckers) He will be listed in your "My crew" where you can brig anyone. If you and your crewmember vote to brig him... Does that work? I was once boarded by some other pirate when i was solo. I could see his name in the settings and i even could vote but i guess it takes 2 votes?!
I found an ancient skeleton on the first days playing. I ran away because I was scared and didnt know what it was. I think it was on Crooks Hollow. Found 3 others since then so I'm not too mad at myself.
Ancient skeleton fact:An ancient skeleton cannont spawn in an area if it cannot reach the shoreline within 20 seconds,so the middle of old faithfull or the top of crooks hollow is a no go.
I watched a video of record ancient skelly spawning spree on Thieves Haven, 5 times in a session I believe, so I went to TH specifically for that reason and what do you know ancient skelly spawned.
I went to an outpost and I sold a ruby and I go back to get my chest from my boat and I caught a guy stealing my chest that was for a quest and I just stared at him for a solid minute and he dropped the chest, must’ve intimidated him lol.
With experience, the blunder does take skill. Just not as much as the sniper and flintlock. I say this because I'm pretty bad at one shots in a fight with blunder and it takes practice to use the blunder in the most effective manner.

Skeleton ships have a slightly higher spawn chance when there is chests on the ship, you can find out more on the wiki!

If it spawns, it will spawn around you not anywhere on the island from what I know, so if you want to spot them easily then just a flat sandy island would be ideal.

There's skill in knowing when to use it. That doesn't change between platforms.
Platform doesn’t determine the skill in using it but instead it all depends on the scenario.
