One day I'll have a wall like matts 😂. Your channel helped me win the state championship this year in the yak series and gave me an opportunity to see the classic and fish the national championship in March. This is one channel that puts out the stuff that works!
Good stuff Matt! I use your baits and techniques for winter salt water fish that come into the fresh/Brackish water rivers when it’s cold on the Pamlico River in Eastern North Carolina , spotted sea trout, striped Bass and white Perch.! thank you !
Yeah, I've seen those bathing beauties out the in ten foot! A jerk bait or swim bait have always been my go-to. A fluke with a tush or hover rig are new comers to this game.
i can use all 5 hooks on an umbrella rig in Kentucky but i only keep 3 on them because i fish Tennessee some and they only allow 3 hooks. i need a few more so i can keep 5 on some and 3 on others.
What you are describing is what I saw yesterday Mostly in the 20 foot range But enough in the 10 foot range to where I will try the jerk bait Tried a 4.5 in in paddle tail on a flashy swimmer on the 20 foot fish with no luck No luck on red eyed shad and in chart shad and red
Terrific vid, Matt! There was one day, I was surprised you did not mention, but I’m sure it is definitely an honorable mention. And that is the spy bait.
They only get fat after the resin is placed. I have been trying to add a little heat and run the excess out, from under, but I am still not happy with the appearance.

How do you get your guide wraps flat? Mine are bulbous. Flat it a better look. Function seems fine.
one straight row of thread will lead to a flat wrap

Hey matt, still new fishing and looking forward to learn and grow what would be your biggest tip for someone like me?
time on the water and do it your way
What's a good rod and reel setup for a med sized umbrella rig? Are there any umbrella rigs that are able to be thrown on a spinning reel set up?
you can fins some small umbrella rigs that spinning gear will handle. i recommend using a light flipping stick for the umbrella rigs
How low of water temps do you use jerkbaits for fall? Are they an option below 48 degrees on lakes with perch or Cisco that spawn before ice up?
You can fish them until ice up
@@MattStefanFishing oooooo you know what lake I'm trying that on for the Cisco spawn. Thanks!
You guys should sell those hover rigs your making for A-rigs in an A-rig pack so we won't have to buy 3 or 4 packs
not a bad idea!
What’s hanging from the ceiling?
It’s my rod rack
👍👍👍👍👍
