Love the upclose view on the electronics with labeling and discussion of what you are seeing. Definitely helps to feel more comfortable reading them for someone that doesn’t get out that often.
I am glad you missed some, now I wont be so hard on myself. I see much of the same stuff fishing a couple lakes east of you. You are the real deal. Thank you
I really appreciate that you show “how and why”. Lots of videos andTV shows simply show someone reeling in fish after fish. I’m not interested in watching someone else catch fish. I’m interested in learning how I can catch them. You obviously put a tremendous amount of time, effort, and thought into your productions and it shows. I have very limited time n the water so your information really helps shorten the learning curve. Thanks.
Hey Johnny good video I like the part where you were talking about the water flow from the deep dive app . That seems like one of the keys for a starting point.
I know you are trying to provide content for everyone, but I prefer you fish what the fish want at that moment. In my opinion great content and Fish the Moment, means showing us your process! Luv your channel!
Keep them coming young man. So much info I have to pause to keep up😂 I fish spotted bass frequent on Smith lake AL. What is the name of the lure you are using in this video??? Thank you for helping us fish better.
As always great information and tips on your video's thanks and good fishing 🎣 I would love to see how you would set up a Humminbird Solix 15 for off shore fishing
I’ve rarely been able to get bass to eat on those super mega schools of shad, they are typically gorged, when I do it’s a reaction bite with an obnoxious bait!
Perhaps viewers would benefit from checking the research on swim bladder depressurization when pulled from depth. "We recommend artificial swim bladder deflation for largemouth bass showing depressurization signs and caught from depths greater than 6 m." Cite = Laboratory Evaluation of Artificial Swim Bladder Deflation in Largemouth Bass: Potential Benefits for Catch-and-Release Fisheries - Scott P. Shasteen &Robert J. Sheehan. This study is cited by virtually every subsequent researcher on the subject. Six meters = 19.69 feet. While the affects of rapid depressurization increase with higher water temperatures, fish from 40 feet (as your graph shows) suffer considerable trauma and physical damage even in colder water.
Very interested to hear a little bit about how the deep dive app is getting water clarity inputs? It's very cool to have but I'm not sure how much I can trust it.
Just watched Zaildain on live saying that live scope recording WILL be coming to BASS Live THIS year. Obviously nothing official, but it seems that you were correct in saying it would. And probably way earlier than you may have even thought it would.
Try updating the app in the App Store. Then go to Grand Lake in Oklahoma. We only have water clarity maps for about 10 lakes right now, but we are adding more every day!
I'm fixin to get my first fish finder on my kayak. Probably 2d, but idk yet. I'm shopping in the budget to budget plus range. Any suggestions anyone? Doesn't have to be fancy. Just has to work.
12:18 where it says walls of Shad everywhere, the Shad take the shape of a man about to punch the groups of Shad in small areas LOL at least that's what I'm seeing with my imagination
Bass have tail separation that other fish don’t have. Your using that old school color scheme that’s really limiting your visuals. The garmin update was awesome with perspective mode enabled for free. I use color 10 and see everything in good detail. Especially that tail.
Sometimes. But I don’t get many views on my non-electronics videos so I need to use them. I posted a few non-electronics videos this year and they all got 1/3 of the views of my videos with electronics.
Do you realize Randy undermines everything about how you fish? I'd be separating myself from his crying. Just watched an absolutely despicable videos he posted because he got destroyed in a tournament. Send this dude to pasture.
Really like how you show your graphs and what’s going on with the fish. Do more videos like this. I’ll be watching.
I just have to say, you put a heck of a lot of effort into your videos.
Nice to see you over here andy. You two need to fish together!

These videos are truly amazing. Nobody does it better. Thanks as always Johnny. 💯🔥

you’re on different level man! The commentary, the video quality, camera angles, the editing, the INSANE skill level and knowledge. Unreal Johnny.
Glad you enjoyed!
I agree it’s pretty awesome you guys put that much effort in the video show us how to take care of business on the water
Great video. Enjoy how you explain the process on you find the fish.
Fantastic format! Love the display of your graphs as you talk through things. Thank you.

Glad to see you back on the regular.
This may be the best video you have done yet and you’ve done a lot of great ones
johhny I think this was a great video I wish you could make more of this type of video
Hoping to see your Solix G3 sonar guides settings soon!
Awesome Job! Love watching the videos. Thanks!!
Johnny thanks for the great videos.

Great video sir! Keep the videos comeing!

Yea I was up around Horseshoe a couple days ago and the shear amount of bait was so overwhelming I just think the bass are gorged.
Yeah anything south of the bridge is covered in Shad.
Perfect video 👍

Yeah I assumed they would because its pretty boring watching the livestreams when guys are livescoping.
Great video!
Hey Bro As everyone says your videos are the best ive seen so thank you. How do i pay you to review a lake and give me spots to hit in California ?
Another great video - you have the BEST fishing videos on UA-cam! I have had the Deep Dive app for over a year, how do I get to the water clarity map?
Try updating the app in the App Store. Then go to Grand Lake in Oklahoma. We only have water clarity maps for about 10 lakes right now, but we are adding more every day!
That was very informative..! Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Would you like share how you set up your depth shading on your c-map chart? Love how it looks.
Yeah, I'll make a video about it
Awesome I’ll keep an eye out for it!
I’d love to give you a few settings to try on your live scope. I think you would really like it if you tried it!
Feel free to email them to info@fishthemoment.com. I’ll check them out.
Surprised you don't have any videos of the hover shot technique yet but I'm sure it's in the works.
I’ll be posting a hover rig video next week with on-the-water action and underwater footage.
What lure is that you were using?! Great videos and loving the deep dive app!
There are links to the bait in the video description
Is Johnny using a Carbon unit or Live unit?
Jonny, have you given up on the black trick worm? 22:43
Haha definitely not. I just need the fish to move out of 40ft of water.
Is that a creek channel showing on your 2D and Down imaging around 2:54
Yeah. You can see it on Sidescan as well.
Does this apply to all types of bait schools? Bluegill?
Hey Jonny, are you going to the classic this year?
Not this year.
Grandpa Blaukat will be mad at you for using that livescope
Do you ever use a thumper? Had any luck with it?
I’ve never tried it. I’ll give it a shot!
I have always caught more fish that are going after smaller schools of bait fish that goes for all species.
Outfuckinstanding video Johnny.
I'm fixin to get my first fish finder on my kayak. Probably 2d, but idk yet. I'm shopping in the budget to budget plus range. Any suggestions anyone? Doesn't have to be fancy. Just has to work.
I really like the Lowrance Hook Reveal units. The 2D sonar is great and downscan and sidescan are good enough in pretty much any situation.
12:18 where it says walls of Shad everywhere, the Shad take the shape of a man about to punch the groups of Shad in small areas LOL at least that's what I'm seeing with my imagination
u love to play that video game ha
Video game fish hunting!
👍👍👍👍👍
👍
That live scope is had to see .

I’ll give it a try. I just updated my unit, so I’ll check it out.
