I’ve been following the video presentations for the past weeks. I’ve been pondering the purchase of these products. Today’s underwater views with the Keitech swim baits convinced me to purchase today. Yes, I’m a bit slow in making purchases of new products. “Tush”, only the older anglers can appreciate the ZZ Top rendition.
You talked me into it- picked up a couple packs of the hover shot rigs to. I already hover shot but I didn't have a premade rig for it- I use a jig hook with eh 90 degree eye and I break nail weights into tiny pieces to wait the swim bait and get it to hover. These premade rigs mean I will use that technique much more often than I already do. If I have to do a lot of rigging to fish something- I fish it very seldomly.
If anything I would completely agree that i myself have also lost BIG bass while winding one in on the standard jig head swimbait. Happens to me all the time. Even when it seems I get a good hook in them.
I like it ! when, comparing the side-by-side action of a regular jighead versus tush, it really does appear. The bait is a more struggling bait, fish, than the regular jighead. I could see this getting more bites.
Oh man … given where I fish i pretty much fish swim baits 90% of the time … the other 10% is for punching, these are going to be a game changer. I’ve got the 3/8 & 3/4 oz inbound …
I've used them already in salt water at Galveston Bay catching speckle trout and reds. I did purchase the 3 sizes - 2 packs each from Core tackle. Most successful with the 4/0 3/8 with 4.8 Keitech impact fat gizzard shad swimbait.
Great video. Haha. Just ordered sample of each weight. Interesting because a week ago I took pliers and pulled lead weight down on hover rig so it was more centered on hook.. Worked well, but because of 90 degree tie, it did not have significant body rock. It did coast better though. I was going to contact you and Matt to suggest making a hover rig version with weight more centered, but the Tush looks like the ticket! Thanks
Yeah we were fighting the wind and waves on a few of the shots so there was a lot of bend in the line. It’s pretty normal with any bigger line-through swimbait or magdraft. The key is rigging the bait straight and not having a ton of bow in your line. I usually position my boat into the wind or straight down wind to keep the line straight.
I'll be throwing the 3/8oz for some inshore fishing for spotted bay bass. I'll make sure to tag you guys in my pictures. Any chance in the future you guys will be making 1/2 or 3/4oz with a smaller hook? 7/0 is huge!
I fished these last week and love them. Is there a chance you can make the hover rig with the same hook size option? I really want to try a hover rig on a magnum fluke. I used the swimbait head and tried to make it work on my last trip.
Matt and I are both owners of Core Tackle and make both the Hover Rig and this new hook. The Ultimate Swimbait hooks is designed to be used with swimbaits and the Hover Rig is designed to be used with worms and creature baits.
Not sure if you check your comments but I use the Tush, but I use it as a line through. I cut the hook off just after the weight and run the line through the eye and tie on a treble hook and insert one barb in the back of the swimbait. I would love to see this made as a line through with the same design with the weight and elevated eye minus the actual hook. The Tush design improved my hook up and landing, but my line through mock up has increased my hook up and landing to well over 90%.
A lot of guys who can really catch ‘em talk about a flipping weight, or this jig head popping the mouth open. It makes sense… but does anyone actually have experience seeing this happen?
This looks like a commercial from Weight Watchers. When YOU'RE not satisfied with your silhouet,..... Start losing WEIGHT and your life and health goes trough the ROOF. 🙌🙌😂🤪😁😋😎🙌🙌
The laugh I had at the intro hooked me, that deserves a purchase!
This has to be the best advert and product introduction. Freaking awesome. Order inbound.

This purchase and video were also 100% worth it just to hear Johnny say "what I like about the smaller Tush" at 7:29 in the video.
haha just wait for my on-the-water videos "That bass only wanted to eat the small Tush today"
@@FishtheMoment some bass like that...they're into eating that Tush... 😶
@@FishtheMoment I have shipping notification. I can't wait to get my hands on your Tush!

That looks like the shibbidy dibbidy SHIZZNITS! Between this and the Hover Rig, y'all gonna have my PB creeping up into the DD's! NICE!!!
Looks like a solid design and presentation. All 3 sizes make sense.

Can't wait to get mine. Could've used those at Grand last Saturday. Swimbaits were catching them
I have a video from Grand posting Friday. Let's just say it works there haha
I want some. I love throwing little spark shads
Looks great! I don’t think I will run out and buy any just yet because I have plenty of jig heads but it will be a future purchase for sure!

Love this! Just ordered.

Purched two sizes. I've never had much luck on swimbaits. Hope this helps.
Thats just like the storm lures. Wild eye minnow herring or something.

Good deal!
Some of the underwater shots seem like the hook makes the swimbait lay on its side. How to you keep that from happening with this head?

These look amazing. Will be ordering some soon
Freaking love it. Awesome commercial.
Now that my order is in you should delete this video before more people find out 😂

Ordered a years worth just like with the hover rig hooks!
First time seeing these!! I got to get some!! Like to have a 1/2 oz on the 7/0 hook
Great promo looks like an awesome hook
A hover rig with a 60 degree hook? So does it sink level instead of nosing over? Looks good I'll check it out.👍👍👍👍👍

Lmao… best promo ever. Thanks tush😂😂
Everyone needs some tush in their life haha
Looks great. Any thought to putting a weed guard on it kind of like the hover rig?
We are looking into a weed guard version as well. We were having some issues with hook-up ratios with a wire weed guard. Still experimenting
What do you do for eyes?
Lol you guys are funny. Ordering some for sure!
Haha thanks for the support!
Order placed 🤣🤘🏼🤘🏼 thanx Jonny
Appreciate it!
Yup I like to feel tush on my rod all the time lol 😂
haha
@@FishtheMoment Johnny if you’re ever around Nashville give me a shout.I’d love to take ya out on some of our local lakes.Old Hickory or Percy Preist
Will do!
Love me some tush!
Just placed my order. I would have liked to have seen a 1/0 hook on a lighter weight for the really small swimbaits.
We have plans to make a lot more sizes and weights if it sells well!
@@FishtheMoment it will! Another great idea.
That's great news I would love to have a light 7/0 that I can fish for big fish shallow.
Are there any discount codes available for the lake breakdowns? I have 3 in ny cart i want to purchase.

What about a weedless hook design on that
When will these be available at LOTW ?
They haven't made an order yet so I'm not sure.
Can you announce once they place their order similar to the way you did for Hover Rig?
For sure. We'll post on the Core Tackle Instagram and Matt will make a video announcing it.
