This video goes over how to Slipskate in Destiny. This is a sparrow movement tech which combines Infinite Slipstreams with Wellskates or Hunter skates. This is one of the coolest Destiny 2 movement techniques and is actually pretty simple to learn!

If you find yourself dying when trying to do a slipskate it's because your dismount timing is too early, if you find yourself not landing ontop of the sparrow to do a wellskate, your dismount timing is too late. There is a sweet spot for dismount timing, there is also this small window were when you dismount you land ontop of the sparrow but lose all of your momentum from the slipstream and because of this your well skate is the speed of a normal well skate. Camera is not very important, you can do this tech with zero camera movement on the dismount, camera just helps you get the proper rotation.

You don't seem to gain any speed from hitting a slipflick and a slipskate. You can take 0 damage from a slipskate and still get an insane amount of speed. The gained speed from the wellskate seems to be from the momentum of the slipstream and a proper dismount timing. You can hit a slipskate and still not gain any extra speed if your dismount timing is off.
my sword keeps unequiping when i dismount for some reason??
You probably have your setting Set to equip a certain weapon after exiting a vehicle or you have a weapon swap double bound to your slip inputs
my jump does not get off sparrow, do I even need this?
as long as you have a dismount keybind you're fine

Amazing the things they nerf but this completely broken cheese is still in the game for years
It is literally useless. The only thing you can do is flex on Nessus and the Dreaming City. I'll still learn it tho
