I think they should change the meaning of the word "young" to "inexperienced." That way, the age of the actors would be less of a concern. And Young Avengers looks like it should be broadcast as a TV show.
I'd not mind it as an animated film. We got one long ago and lots of people liked it. Just do a new one and ask someone who did the Spiderverse films to help in it's style. Heck let Sony do this film and have Miles be a member of the team.
Ryan Arey of ScreenCrush talked about this issue in a few videos and he brought up similar things that you did especially regarding the actors ages, Dominique Thorne just turned 27 whereas Riri Willimas is probably between 17-20 since she's a college student. I understand that this is fiction, and the audience just has to accept that actor-character ages almost never coincide, but even in MCU continuity this is still a problem. At the end of The Marvels, Kate Bishop tells Kamala that she's 22, and in Avengers Infinity War, Spider-Man became an Avenger at 17. So, how is it fair that Kate Bishop is still on the Young Avengers when she's in her early 20's?
Children's Crusade might be a good story for after Doomsday? If Wanda really is going to be in Doomsday, as people are speculating, then Doomsday will probably BE the Children's Crusade.
The insiders are saying yes partially of children's crusade will be used in Doomsday. But Wanda is not gonna be a villain she is gonna team up with Doom thinking that she is gonna save the multiverse and he is gonna steal scarlet witch powers and cause Secret wars
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the best we're getting out of the young avengers is a scene in secret wars akin to the one featuring the female characters in endgame, and besides, the MCU is being rebooted right after, and most of these characters won't work if they're meant to coexist with the new ironman, thor, cap, hulk and the like. One gets the feeling that they're trying to set up kamala as being a part of the x-men come the reboot, but I hope they don't go that route, and then there's the unresolved plotlines that ideally will be resolved by the end of secret wars, like america chavez meeting again with her mothers, which would be a good end to her character and story, and keeping someone like her around after the multiverse saga ends would kinda defeat the point of a reboot and concluding a saga revolving around the multiverse.
Well…..you do got the point right there i mean…I want the young avengers to happen like I was excited that it was gonna happen now it got cancelled but once it releases Iman is gonna be older xochitl gomez is gonna be in her 20s but what is the point just whenever marvel decides to make it happen it really doesn’t matter if it happens or not
@@mayotango1317 No, but since the movies are flimsy about the comics stories eitherway, Spiderman could be a sort of Mentor to the Young Avengers regardless!
It would've never worked in the MCU format. It takes years to release sequels and Avengers projects, by the time all the Young Avengers are introduced, built up, and get their big movie together all the actors will be in their 30s.
This is so easy to fix. Just make them the champions. That way, no avenger fans would be mad and it would make total sense because Ms Marvel is a confirmed Avenger so why make her a ‘ Young Avenger ‘. If they did it this way, people wouldn’t take the team unseriously and they could make the team fight a very serious threat to make the characters redeem themself, they could also make the characters more likeable by giving them good suits and make their characters taken seriously rather than making them unserious and goofy
Theory 1: The Young Avengers becomes a Disney+ series with indirect connections. Theory 2: Avengers Doomsday doesn't end well & a Young Avengers film comes between Doomsday & Secret Wars
The reason why Phase 4 - Phase 5 feels so clunky and messy is because every project feels individualistic and not tied up as good as Phase 1 - Phase 3. Marvel took their time building the beloved characters on screen as we all know, from Ironman to Scarlet Witch to Thanos, etc. All these characters were spread out for such a long time, the payout was worth it. We started with Ironman 1, the debut of the Face of Marvel, and ended with Endgame, the end of the Face of Marvel. Iron Man debuted in 2008, Endgame was in 2019. 11 years Marvel worked to build the backstory, the characters, the world building, everything! It was well thought out despite certain projects might feel inadequate but they all served a story, a point. Which is to introduce the characters and the Infinity Stones. That was the goal. Phase 4 to 5 was just messy because it felt directionless, and Marvel tried rushing their projects to make them work instead of properly writing them even if it takes another ten years, it would be worth it. Because the story would be well written, everything would feel cohesive.
I am kate bishop is literally older than spider man, not all of them are really young. I think its smarter if the young avengers are just the new avengers that are just "younger." Since phase 4 and phase 5 haven't been as good the avengers reputation has tanked, so the fantastic four, x-men, and spider man will probably be the focal point of the mcu, with the new avengers being a band of characters still remaining from the infinity saga who aren't in the other teams, and spider man being the main avenger.
Neither of which ended well respectfully. Titans on Max and Young Justice went really cheap and couldn't bring characters like Trigon, Raven, Starfire, etc to their full potential on screen. Very CW and Young Justice took the recent DCAU movie approach to their animation style and not as well-written to the 1st 2 seasons
I like the idea of the young avengers but I’m not loving the current line up and whenever we guess the line up it’s always the dumbest out of left field characters (to me) like the black kid from the falcon and winter soldier or kid Loki. Neither of those makes sense to me and everyone always puts them in the roaster.
Kate bishop is by far the best and best written, young / new charakter in MCU...played by a phenomenal actress Hailee Steinfeldt, i really look forward to Young Avengers only because of her
New Avengers with Characters like Spiderman, Dr Strange, Black Panther, Captain Marvel. You know the cool characters... Nah we get the Soft Avengers Juvie Force.
With Deadpool and Wolverine the main people were just millennials there were many Gen X people who were among the first to fully enjoy those earlier Marvel films. The MCU phase 1-3 is basically the millennials main squeeze.
That's the biggest problem People thinks that this is damn competition. That someone gona be replaced and forgoten. But that not work like that. Young Avangers is just another team. Also people should try not to be ducklings and give a try a diffrent (new) heroes. Marvel universe doesn't spin around main 6 Avengers. If they don't watch Marvel Television's projects this is not our problem but theirs. If you're waiting for 10th part of Thor I feel bad for your brain. I've heard someone was complaining that Marvel do all the same but they not ready to go watch projects with new, young heroes.
Most of the actors and the characters in-universe are also growing up, they'll probably be called "The Next Avengers" instead. Hailee Steinfeld will be 30-31 by 2026. Edit: I was commenting while watching, you just mentioned them being "sidekicks" which is pretty disrespectful to the character's, I know it probably wasn't you're intention but still. The Young Avengers were never sidekick's, they're all just a group of fanboy's that got together. Marvel comic's doesn't even do sidekick's like DC, they do character's who admire the heroes and became their own. Kate Bishop was never Clint's sidekick, she was trained by him but they're always been equal's. Kamala was a hero in Jersey City before ever meeting Carol Danvers.
I don’t mean to brag but I do know that the new original avengers movies are coming out next year like dooms day and secret wars so I heard that xochitl Iman and Hailee are gonna be in those movies and THINK about it iman recruit her character as Kamala to put together a team and she wanted Kate to be on it so of course it could happen still
It makes sense tho after secret wars and then doomsday (YA will rescue wanda from doom) if they are really following the children’s crusade as a base story

@@hezelia I hate it when random people just say "noboday watched said show" and don't bother looking the viewership numbers when they are readily available online by outlets like Deadline/Hollywood Reporter via Nielsen ratings or Disney themselves. Agatha was watched 9.3 million vies its 1st week. Loki season 2 did 10.9 million for comparison
I hope the Young Avengers project becomes a movie and I hope Raja Gosnell directs it
I think they should change the meaning of the word "young" to "inexperienced." That way, the age of the actors would be less of a concern.
I still want to see the Young Avengers
By the way, who should be the leader?
Peter Parker obviously. But he should be the leader of the new Avengers team in Doomsday and Secret Wars
Parker NEVER was part of YOUNG Avengers
@@GRogers4097 umm, no he hasn't never been a part of the Young Avengers in the comics, It has always been Kate Bishop as leader or co-lead
@@luismedrano6680But she doesn't know how to lead.
Wth do u mean Wanda is the fricking best female character what about black widow / nat
Nat is cool but Wanda is more badass ...sorry not sorry.
@ no problem
The black widow is no more :(
@@CharzzTheAnimated Yelena?
They're going to be called The New Avengers
And who will be The New Avengers?🤷🏿♂️
Its coming before doomsday because visionquest will be a stepping stone for the young avengers so it will be before doomsday as well
Maybe they can come together as a team without having their own movie or show
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the best we're getting out of the young avengers is a scene in secret wars akin to the one featuring the female characters in endgame, and besides, the MCU is being rebooted right after, and most of these characters won't work if they're meant to coexist with the new ironman, thor, cap, hulk and the like.
The big problem is that no one cares about these people.
I want the orginal Avengers back but with new young actors 😊
Msarvel was never in young avengers tho . Why does everyone including marvel studios even include her
Well…..you do got the point right there i mean…I want the young avengers to happen like I was excited that it was gonna happen now it got cancelled but once it releases Iman is gonna be older xochitl gomez is gonna be in her 20s but what is the point just whenever marvel decides to make it happen it really doesn’t matter if it happens or not
Vision Quest Is Confirmed For 2026 , Shooting Next Year Supposedly
The young avengers can't be a team without Spider-man
Spider-Man never was part of the team.
@@mayotango1317 No, but since the movies are flimsy about the comics stories eitherway, Spiderman could be a sort of Mentor to the Young Avengers regardless!
@metalspinda9594 Spider-Man is not a mentor, nobody take him seriously.
He never shows in a Young Avengers comics.
Miles Morales is the Spider-Man in the Young Avengers, not Peter Parker
@lexramstudios1386 Not Miles.
I hope they bring kid loki back.
They could make it a animated show or a movie? Like what if series or DCU creature commandos
This is whole worse than Titans and Young Justice 🤦♂️
Because they are also young avengers in comic
I hope they can blend these young avengers into a good story
I think they don't even need young avengers anymore. If they are going to Reboot the Universe then just get Avengers with new actors.
Kamala was a hero in Jersey City before ever meeting Carol Danvers.
reason 1 ....they are underdeveloped and uninspiring
I was not born in the 2000s but I know a lot about the characters
Yeah. Disney+ was a huge mistake. *Sigh*
I’m gonna be honest, I don’t think any Marvel fans find these characters interesting at ALL
I’m a marvel fan and I find Wiccan, Ms marvel, Kate bishop and Cassie lang so interesting. Hope we seem them in a team because they are so powerful
I don’t mean to brag but I do know that the new original avengers movies are coming out next year like dooms day and secret wars so I heard that xochitl Iman and Hailee are gonna be in those movies and THINK about it iman recruit her character as Kamala to put together a team and she wanted Kate to be on it so of course it could happen still
Blud dosen’t think they will be in the 2 avengers movies and will get their own after
id watch a young avengers movie if it turned out that dr doom killed them all
😂
What doesn't work, they will make it work, Somehow
So avengers on the Disney channel that’s what this team is
It makes sense tho after secret wars and then doomsday (YA will rescue wanda from doom) if they are really following the children’s crusade as a base story
Agatha’s budget is less than 40million
Having to be born before the year 2000 to be a fan is wrong. My sons are little kids and love the good mcu movies
I was born 2007 and I love the good MCU movies too!
These guys completely sucks. Spider-Man and Deadpool are the only heroes Marvel has left that makes money.
True but what about thor and the guardains
They want younger characters so they last longer.
Simple. All these characters suck and we hate them. Amen. Wiccan is the only one I can stand to see on screen.
Aren't the people who watch marvel movies and read thier comics are under the age of 15 since when they started caring about storyline 😂
I think Marvel figured everything out
ant mans daughter is a horrible person GOOD LORD !!!!!! the story writing for her was BAD
from ant man 1 and 2 end game she was a sweetheart and in Ant man 3 she was very ungrateful
I like the young Justice league better
Please don't share misinformation. Like the reboot is already confirmed
Absolutely No One cares about the young avengers. I repeat *Absolutely No One.* If people did, then the Comic Book wouldn't have gotten Canceled.
Exactly, these characters suck
I remember seeing the comics at a store and almost nobody touched it lmao
Why not The New Warriors?
Because they suck.
@metalspinda9594 Why?
@@metalspinda9594 So, the Champions then?
@luismedrano6680 Wait, now 2 things. Champions I could SEE... but like New warriors, Champions would need to be set up in universe if done that way.
