Yup sure does! I thought about spraying a matte clear over the whole thing just to kick it up a notch and it does adhere to bedliner I tried it before.

Why bed-line a/this car? How much weight did the application add?
🤔 I'm curious from all of the texturing, is it possible to do a before-versus-after fuel economy comparison?
Bed liner barely adds any weight. A few bottles to cover a whole car and probably half of that is solvent that evaporates.
It don’t add weight. We tested this in another video and it’s durable and easy to keep clean. the texture may look big on camera but it’s not too bad. It’s a smooth rough and I know that won’t make sense lol.

Yo you thinking of slapping some coils or lowering it? Or give it some thicc tires would look so dope on the car imo.
They don’t make lowering for the 2003 mdx. The 06+ can use mini van lower springs but this year don’t work. I tried: in good time we will figure all that out.

@@JamesDguy this bed liner might actually protect the body from Texas hail storms🤔 although I did see a little over 2 3/4inch hail down in San Antonio back in 2016 I dont know about that size😬
These glow pigments have came down in price a lot since I did my bike in 2013. Also back then they just had green,blue, and aqua. Now they have all kinds of glow colors like pink,purple,red, orange, white,etc
I wish I had spent the good money on the better pigment brands but live and learn I guess. It’s not bad for what it is! I love it and my whole family does. I know some things have gone down in price but mostly everything else went up in price lol

What is your experience with raptor lining your cars I've seen some cars and notice fading or Browning of certain areas of the car do you have a clue what that could be and have your car stayed the same as from the day you painted them
It’s been 3yrs on one of my projects and it’s been outside it’s whole 3yrs and it’s holding up! I don’t have it but seen it recently. I never seen any of my raptor lining jobs fading it has uv protection but not sure about others.

Thank you so much for your videos! Quick question when do you add primer to the vehicle ? Is it when you sand a bit to much and metal is expose ?
I try to add primer if doing a full color change or if exposed metal. I use rustoleum but I’m sure there is better paint out there but that’s just my preference on it.

Flawless as always 👍 I also have a question, so if you paint it with regular spray paint, do you need clear coat spray also? Then buff it?
The MDX looks great in white and the texture looks pretty cool. I wonder how it would look with pearl (or metal flake) and a couple coats of clear? I wonder if it would sparkle? 🤩
I have a question that I probably already know the answer to but I would prefer a second opinion (especially from someone who’s WELL versed in painting with cans) anyway I painted my car and I didn’t have the best lighting so I ran across the yard (to get a couple work lights) mid paint and kept painting, and I threw 2k over it thinking my base coat was even all around.....turns out it wasn’t, I realized there was two med sized spots where it didn’t cover properly soooo I decided for some odd/STUPID reason to just throw a light layer of base coat on the clear while it was wet and it made it look a little lighter than the rest of the car then I re-cleared the area, basically my question is, in your opinion could I get away with wet sanding the panel even and throwing more base/clear, or will I have to sand the whole panel and start from scratch? Any help is appreciated either way.
In that situation I would wet sand the entire panel down and re do it all. I’m sure there is a better way to fix it but I’m not a pro at blending paint to make it all match perfectly and i know the struggle of little to no light when painting I use to do everything at night in the dark with moon light not even kidding lol
I did my wheels glow in the dark like 4 yrs ago and I love it. This was something I was going to to in the future. Looks 👍 👍 👍

@@shino9797 still glows till this day. I'm going to re do them cause the they are starting the chip. I didn't prep the wheels good.it was my first time trying it

Good job bro, does it cost alot to rent a booth? I recently tried to blend some spots and it looks terrible, thinking about doing the whole truck now.
I always prefer to do a whole vehicle rather than blend because I’ll be honest I suck at blending too lol 😂 the booth rental was $50 but last rental went to $100 but it’s not a full time thing unfortunately

Klean-Strip Aircraft paint remover. It will make bed liner that's 1/4" thick fall off almost instantly.

Hey man. First & foremost, I want to say this is super different & slick looking. Now, I have a question. I never saw anybody else do raptor over a Rust-Oleum gloss style paint job like this. I love the idea. As I'm nervous about which adhesion promotors are worth the money, for the plastic trim on my Honda Element. & it don't seem like many of them are. So if I can get away with doing something similar, it would definitely save me quite a few bucks. That being said, I'm very interested in hearing how it's been holding up for you so far?

Hallo, I love truck ped liner, just wondering,I have jeep commander and I would like to bed line gunmetal grey, I have no garage or driveway, it's a bit tricky to get it done in budget. Alternatively would just like to paint the jeep with mat clear

Any estimates on how much I would need to bed liner a 2006 civic coupe ? I want to do it tan, but having trouble figuring out exactly what I need and how to tint it.
I show how to tint it and ratios in this video. In this video i explain it all including why i put a white base coat and more. Its long but if you skip around you might miss it.

@@GlassWerx it’s not so bright it would be distracting. It’s actually only this visible after being in the sun for hours. At night you can see it if it’s pitch black but otherwise it’s just a white mdx lol

u made that paint, really heavy loll, u needed 2 turn knob gun, u can make it 2, 4, 6, 8, if u had the adjustment gun, like i got from italy loll, it called URRTH $250 aussy dollar, i made mine rnd 2 turns, a holden chev 308, well we all different of course, it still looks ok it's just as it looks like a sedan, thats your car all the best

Does the Raptor stick well to gloss spray paint (without an additional scuffing/sanding)?
must sand it on any paint u use loll, to stick on better otherwise, it will peel on ya loll,

@@thetonyplush I'm also looking for an answer to this question, because I watched about 15+ people do a raptor job. To try & build my knowledge before I give it a shot & not one other person put down a gloss paint before applying Raptor. Infact most of them recommend getting it as good & scuffed as you can for it to adhere correctly. I just want to know how it's still holding up. Because I will definitely do it this way if it works. Save a lot of money on adhesion promoters with not so great reviews. Did you find an answer for this question by chance?
