This is just my opinion, but I fell in love with metal listening to Helloween with Kai and Michi. I think Andi is, by far, the worst songwriter in the band, so the fact that Kai has ONE song on a reunion album like this is really pretty sad. Andi has been part of the band for almost three decades, but I prefer what was before him, except for a collection of great Weiki songs over the years, like KWBK and AOTN.

Due to his kindness and selfconfidence - not a single problem to have in band other two leading vocals, no hard rivalry .... it is more about deep friendship. Andi's always had my respect. He literally saved Helloween in their darkest times (1994 & 2000) and "Fear Of The Fallen" proves, once again, how vital he still is for this pioneering band.
94-00 is my favorite helloween time. Od course I still enjoying their songs. Helloween is just amazing

I have the exact same opinion here buddy. Andy explained it pretty well himself: He's the brutal pilar in the band. I mean let's face it, Fear of the Fallen is the perfect example on how Andi can go full brutal singing like no one else on earth! Long live Helloween!

@@Luffman123 I think we must wait to hear it entirely. I like Andi better, but this is how things will work from now on. Andi wrote must of the album so we are in good hands. Kiske has also grown a lot and is having a humble participation in the band by not trying to get all the attention. Let’s support them, they are the best band in the world. 🤘🏼🎃🔥

I'm so glad that Kiske is back in the band, I feel like this lineup is probably my favorite since the Master Of The Rings era
@@saynotoerrors4355 Yeah with this line-up every real Helloween fan would be happy. Daniel and Sascha are two nice guys but we know Roland and Uli would add a touch of real Power to the band. But at the same time we realize that the most important thing in a band is the connection between bandmates to make the "machine" operate well, and as it seems they have it now!

18 years ago I heard my first Helloween song with Andi as the front man. From that day until now I always listen to Helloween.

Even though I know Helloween since the Kiske days, I honestly can say that for me, the best songwritter that Helloween have ever had is Andi Deris.
I think we can all agree that these two have different styles. We got the best of "both worlds" now.
But I would never say that Andi cannot sing beautifully. It always depends on the song though.
In "Fear of the Fallen" in particular, Andi hit some notes I didn't even expect, lol. Sounds fantastic. They compliment each other so well.

It’s seriously incredible what they are accomplishing right now. They have the ability to sing any song from any era exactly how it was originally recorded! If that wasn’t enough, they are able to produce new music that is rivaling the keeper days! I never anticipated an album more than this one!!!

@@hujanjauh5026 I read an interview with Kiske and he said the reason he doesn't have a single song credit is because they already have strong key songwriters and he wanted to leave it to them. And it's mostly Andi, Hansen and a little bit of Weikath

Fear of the fallen =Epic and brutal no more words to say
Incredible insight into the song-writing process. I once tried writing songs but found that I was only a "collector of parts", as Andi describes it; I never developed a sense of larger structure. Helloween knew what they were doing when they took on Deris, not just a singer but a top-tier songwriter. Also kudos to the band for supporting so many songwriters. Bands like the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, or even the Beatles show how difficult it is to keep such a band together.
I'd like to learn more about what Deris had in mind when he wrote the "Fear of the Fallen" lyrics.
