I can’t understand why does he speak so humbly about one of the best songs in the post 94 Helloween era, alongside with “Kings will be kings”, “Pant a new world” and “Burning sun”
Epic start with even more epic build up in the bridge, afterwards- even more epic build up in the pre-chorus, and you are already anxious because of this massacre of a song , and then - the genial simplicity of the mighty punchy payoff in the actual chorus: “Robot king !! Perfect make !!…”
This entire new album, as I have always said, is an all killer-no filler deal, but to me, at least, the highlights are definitely Weikath’s songs. To the point of which I find myself unable to appreciate “Skyfall” for what it is because I am already beaten down by “Robot King” and “Down in the dumps”. Exactly the way how I feel with the Keeper pt2 - I have to take a break before the grand finale of the title track, because “March of time” had already drained me and I need a rest.
Cheers to Helloween for having recorded the album of their career! Can’t wait to see you again in Bulgaria 🇧🇬
In my opinion weiki writes the best songs for Helloween.

In the beginning, Weiki was told, his cheesy tune weren't real metal.
Now, a whole metal genre tries to copy his tunes.

He's a great songwriter. He should do what he does and ignore all the critics trying to normalize him. There's plenty of conventional metal, but there's only one Weiki.

I want to hear the original version where he talked about living forever. Raw, unpolished songs can be good too! Of course I also love "Robot King" the way it is and all of his contributions to this album. It's one of their best!

This song got super overlooked by reviewers. Probably because the album is pretty long and Skyfall sort of steals the spotlight for epic story songs. I think this one really shines on its own though if people would just listen to it isolated from everything else. Definitely a highlight of the new album for me.
That and because out of the three songs Weiki wrote for the album, it's probably the weakest. It's not bad, or even weak at all, but I think the other two are simply stronger songs and have more elements of classic Helloween that people were expecting for this album. Robot King is very much modern Helloween in sound, which makes sense given that it is a leftover track from My God-given Right. It's actually the origin of that album's cover.

Personally, it's my favorite track on the album, beyond any of his other tracks. I'm actually glad it got the treatment it did sonically thanks to the addition of classic members and the recording/mixing/mastering process for this album. Not that MGGR sounded bad because it didn't, but it REALLY gets to shine thanks to being on this album. The performances of everyone here are awesome and probably elevate it beyond just what the songwriting itself would have made it
Of course that doesn't mean it'll be everyone's favorite. It's just mine.
