Andi is amazing, and the entire album is all killer - no filler. Helloween beat up both Iron Maiden and Judas Priest in their own game once again. Having that said, my personal favorite song is “Robot king” because it’s a total massacre and it’s a song where each separate member of the band shines the most. So I am curious to see a story behind this song and some thoughts of the band members about it
I'd say the song where each member shines the most would actually be Fear of the Fallen.
As a 42 year loyal Maiden fan, I have to say that I agree with your statement. Nobody who knows me would ever believe I would say that about Maiden. Honestly, Maiden just can't do epic like Helloween can. The facts remain as they are. Helloween has beat the entire genre at it's game. All 3 singers sound every bit as good as they did back in the day. Helloween just guaranteed their relevance for another 40 years with this rebirth.
Concerning the new album, the first thing that striked me during my first listening session was the voices : the range, the blending, it gives Helloween so much depth and colors.

"Best Time" was supposed to be released as a promotional single, it's Spotify's most heard new album song, be smart. Make a cool video clip for Best Time and share this song around the world.

Kiske talked in an interview about shooting a new music video with the musicians acting (like Skyfall) perhaps the plan were stopped due to COVID and we just have to wait to see that video.
Nobody gives a shit about Spotify. If you care about supporting artists, stop using it and start buying physical albums.

Andi is so cool - so many fans have waited for Kiske to come back and turned into Andi-haters and now both are singing together and it works - between them and musically. No too big Egos, both doing what is best for the song
Personally I think Andi is actually a better live singer than Kiske.
Best Time was supposed to be the next single from the album.

Andi Deris is the man \m/ I love that him and Kiske are working with each other in Helloween! I started listening to Helloween from the Kiske era, and I'm always blown away with how unique Kiske's voice is. That being said, Andi's vocals are completely different, and I love his vocals as well! Especially on the earlier albums he sings on, I think the band has musically lost some of the sense of exploration and adventure their sound had at least up until before the 7 Sinners album, from that album on the music just hasn't stood apart enough track from track for me and the songs sound less significantly defined in comparison to music from tracks on Better Than Raw, The Dark Side, Rabbit Don't Come Easy (besides the Unarmed album which is bad ass!). Regardless, Helloween are absolute Pumpkin Gold!!! \m/
Got into #helloween from the beginning with the Helloween EP (on cassette back in the good auld days😂), that I picked up from a record shop in the states that specialised in UK/European imports. Loved them from the get go, still do. Hopefully they will play #belfast #northernireland someday 🤘🏻🇬🇧🖤
