Andy Deris is such a great, humble and talented human being... I respect him even more after listening to him and who he is a person and musician .. Makes me love the band even more.. I love the New album with Kiske, Deris and Kai.. Their voices are a great match and they are all different and so talented musicians.. My respect for them all and the whole band.. I've been following this band from the beginning and this is a huge moment for all Helloween fans. I am living/loving the New album. Kiske and kai's comeback, Weikath! the songs are great. I totally feel identified with them and they have never dissapointed us.. Never! .
I've been trying to understand the Roland Grapow situation since it happened and now at last it is revealed. On the other hand, this doesn't explain what happened with Uli Kusch
I have a Rock Hard magazine from those years with interviews from roland and weiki. Roland's was "The hell with them, we're through!" and Weiki's was "something happened, the band splited in two factions and I didn't want another chameleon situation so we parted ways"
Given the apparent closeness of Roland and Uli, maybe Uli defended what Roland did and since they'd already had Masterplan going, they were sent off together and they pursued Masterplan. But I have noticed that Uli is seldom mentioned at all in interviews regarding past members, and they've even played songs he's written since then too.
@@markobighead3173 that's right, but that "financial betraying" sounds very serious and including Uli just because they were close is a little extreme. Let's see if someone ask them about Uli because he's often ignored even when he was a big part of the band
@@JoolsGuitar Just a tinfoil-hat theory: I noticed that most bands Uli has been part of has bad blood towards him: Gamma Ray fired him and barely mentioned him in the early album re-releases; Helloween acts as if he didn't exist even though they played a couple of his songs live for almost 2 decades without him in the band, and Masterplan kicked him out after JUST 2 albums over "musical and personal differences"... Maybe He was the one behind all this drama and the helloween camp is salty towards Roland for enabling it... Just a tinfoil-hat theory...
@@sailorpsycho that's my theory as well. I recently watched a Timmo Tolkie interview where he was asked about Uli and he opened his eyes and said "no comments".
