First I thought, I'm not listening, I wait to June for the whole album. But I had no chance, I had to listen to it. Great, brings me back feelings I had when I first heard the Keepers ages ago. Sounds like a Deris composition. Exceptional songwriter!
Someone said that this could be the best album since the Keepers era. Although I was introduced to Helloween in the Deris era and loved them , I sincerely think we are lead to this direction. The best Helloween record since the keepers era and WE FUCKING LIKING IT. What a song by the way?? Thank you great Andi Deris.
For me Helloween is the Andi era without a doubt, but having these guys together is just beyond words, if they can stay together for the rest of Helloweens lifespan I will be soooo happy 😊😊
My personal favourites are the first three albums with Deris in the band. Gambling with the Devil was also a great record. It's a shame that people don't talk about it that much. And yes, this song is great. I'm pretty hyped for the new album, not going to lie.
The best song in the darkest times. Certainly everything is changing. I do wish from the bottom of my heart our kids can keep on rocking in a free world.
I miss Andi Deris so much on new album. This is my favourite song on Helloween 2021 album. After all. Andi were the voice of Helloween for 30 years and his rock voice is always lovely.
Unos genios.
Helloween have created another masterpiece, the vocals are really incredible, the notes they are hitting my god... Kiske and Deris have upped their game, with the rest of the band, fan since 88.

Hi, ImI To all fans of Helloween's music, I am a fan of Helloween from the very beginning of the group. Currently, I am 57 years old, I play and compose myself, but I still like and listen to Helloween a lot. I know that there are many who love Michael Kiske for his amazing sound of his voice and unique vocals, but for me, my personal idol is Andy Deris, as a singer with a heart for metal and rock music, and not warm as in the case of M. Kiske singing more suited to ballads and light rock than power-metal music. With all the respect, Michael Kiske does not have the heart for heavy metal or powermetal sound and this, despite his good intentions, is unfortunately heard in many new songs in the new Helloween album. In my opinion, it is thanks to Andi Deri’s that Helloween owes a and sounds so good a lot. Andy is not only a vocalist, but he is also great at creating compositions, he has a great sense of dynamics and that's something that makes you want to listen a Helloween all the time. Similarly, it is with the musicians, in my opinion the fundamental line-up of Helloween is Michael Weikath, Sascha Gerstner, Markus Grosskopf, Dani Löble and of course Andi Deris, as the vocalist and charismatic leader of the power metal sound Helloween. Of course, I love Keepers, but the next 2 albums with M. Kiske's vocal after Keepers were not the same Helloween. Only after Andi Deris came to Helloween that Helloween returned as a real power metal band. Kay Hansen is a great guitarist, but for me my Helloween king is and always has been Michael Weikath and his friend Markus Grosskopf. Sascha Gerstner and his friends create a great band, and they are not only guitar virtuosos, but also great composers and incredibly intelligent people who create music because they love it. It is to feel unlike any other. Personally, I hope that Helloween will record many greater new albums, but I would love to listen and buy them for my own complete collection like a power metal person, preferably without M Kiske and Kay Hansen on board in Helloween band. No offense to those who love M. Kiske and Kay Hansen. My respect for all of you, but… My favorite time of Helloween is with Andi Deris, not with M. Kiske. I love metal, and you can feel the difference right away while listening to M. Kiske's solo albums and projects it’s not a metal music.
It is incredible that after more than 30 years and the changes in their training and others, they have returned with so much POWER, thank you really !!! it is an honor to be contemporaries to the best heavy metal band in history !!!!! Thanks for being together again
I think this is another amazing song that captures the keeper sound while also sounding like the Andis albums. Also, I think I read it's the opening song and I think it does a great job at that. Seems like they are using Kiske for the higher parts and sounds perfect, the solos are classic Helloween too. Also, the quiet parts are a big plus that makes the song sound more mysthical/epic (which is exactly how Weikath described it in an interview). Definitely a better level than what Helloween had released in many years. Not sure why some people are disappointed at this song.
@@oldschool6425 yeah, I am really impressed with how well they've managed having the three vocalists. Kiske and Deris really do complement each other. Like, you listen to the first verse in this song and I don't think Kiske would have done it better than Deris, but then Kiske sings the chorus and it's just epic. The riffs and solos are classic Helloween too. Can't wait to hear the rest of the album.
@@markobighead3173 you are right, they first song is written by Weikath and, after hearing how he described it in an interview, I am really looking forward to hearing that one.
I'm so incredibly happy that Kai and Michi are back. I honestly love Andi, and I love Sascha's shredding, but after My God-given Right (the album as a whole) I had this strange feeling that it lacked something, a spark, like there was some fatigue going on and the guys were out of inspiration and new interesting ideas. And when I first heard Skyfall, I was like - oh my God, they're back. They're epic and awesome and they do epic and awesome, 7 minute long music videos, and Skyfall is supposed to be even longer on the LP. I am so happy and I wish they will stay together for longer so that we can get more and more awesome pumpkin stuff!
I totally agree with you. Helloween is my favorite band for the last 25 years. And I was introduced to them with Andi Deris. I think that in My God given right, they were forced to release it faster, after Straight out of hell. That's why it felt as a very poor record. Probably the most uninspiring record in the Andi Deris era. But after 2015 they took their time, Michael and Kai came back, they tried new stuff and they have reinvented themselves.
@@Priest1908 I was a little let down by Sky Fall; I think this album was rushed, as well, I'm hoping the rest of the album is more in the spirit of the Keeper albums; with the funny songs, and the buoyant German humor, which typically permeates Deris' vox. This feels, unfortunately, like a half-measure; trying to, not duplicate, but emulate what Paeth/Tobi did, and much of the other stuff Kiske did with Somerville, and Lande, and; I haven't been shown yet that the material is 'genuine,' in the sense that; it sounds like Kai is only there for marketing reasons; that he's holding back his good material for another Gamma Ray album. On the other hand, my experience over the past ~22 years of absolutely loving this band has usually indicated that the singles released, are usually the most uninteresting songs on their albums, save for the Rings/Oath albums, which I think might be their best work, or at least on par, with the Keeper Albums, but I'm a big fan of the Dark Ride album, which I felt was unfairly received (lots of great composition, and lyrics there), so my opinion may be a little skewed... As a musician, of many instruments, and producer myself; the guitar-work displayed thus far, has been par; it sounds over produced; and without me hearing Kai cut through, both vocally, and melodically, it is hard for me to get overly excited about this; I've seen Gamma Ray and Helloween many times, and Kai seemed like he was going through the motions, being a good soldier and friend, on the PU tour. I love Helloween almost exactly as I love Gamma Ray; they both inspire me to reinvent myself, and to just express myself; the summing of these two forces would seem almost too good to be true, and alas, I fear it is. I don't wish anyone to mistake me; I LOVE THESE GUYS, I think they are the all-timers in heavy metal; not Priest, not Maiden, not Metallica (barff); it's these guys and RJDio at the top of the mountain; I just feel a little disappointed with what I'm hearing; maybe I expected more than this? I really hope there is; but I also want the band(s) to go back to where it/they were, and just have Kiske or Kai guest on a track or two every album, and have Kiske guest on the GR albums, like he already does; sadly, Kiske is no longer able to do full shows, Kai got a new singer for GR; their voices are slipping, and its only downhill from here, so this feels like their doing it FOR US, and not for themselves, which is where I feel the disconnect. I'm sure that both their and GR next albums will ring truer after this episode, so I am just hoping that everything works out, and everyone is still friends, when this is over.
@@matthewmeyers3862 It happened the same to me, till I listened to the full version of Skyfall... Oh my it's so much better. And this one is algo great too
@@matthewmeyers3862 have to somewhat disagree with you about kai but have to agree about skyfall and it is not the song as it sounds like a song from the somewhere out on space Era or PowerPoint it is the sharing of the vocals I think kai and eike freese should have mixed this track at gamma rays studio and should have just had kais vocals exclusively on this track and then live figured out who would sing what. Part of the reason I say this is because as kai stated in an interview recently was as that kai did not finish writing and arranging skyfall until right before preproduction started those who are familiar with kai and gamma ray know that he is very picky when it comes to his songs and is very detailed. And used to being the only singer and doing his own producing and mixing. Any way kai stated that he started writing this sing but it was incomplete and he tried to finish up other tracks that were incomplete gamma ray demos like pumpkins united was originally but when he tried working on the other tracks they did not come out the way he wanted so he kept working on skyfall until he got the track finished, the issue I think with this track and this album as whole is their were too many producers involved. Charlie bierfiend is okay as he also worked with kai but adding Denis ward into the mix and recording at 3 different studios was crazy just because nuclear blast wanted them too. And then taking it to new York and transfering everything from a digital mix back to analog and mixing it again on analog mixing boards was totally unnecessary. I think they should of recorded everything between misuano which is andis studio and kais chameleon studio with the mixing done at chameleon and the bulk of the recording at kais studio with kai producing and eike freese doing the mixing with maybe Charlie bierfiend helping with the final mix at kais studio like was done on the track pumpkins united.

Not much different of what Helloween has been doing, but of course the presence of Kiske and Hansen have made them more visible lately. Helloween has always been a great band🤘🥷
Well considering the song Keeper Of The Seven Keys only mentions 6. This is definitely the 7th key 🗝️🎃 I've been waiting for a long long time 😃 A dream come true 🎃🗝️
This is an Andi penned track so of course it's going to sound like their recent music. Which isn't a bad thing at all, of course. But definitely made better with Kiske's vocals and both Kai's vocals and guitar work.
@@Fortunabandofficial It seems clear to me that the 6th key is Disease (from the line "disease, disease, disease my friend, throw the key or you may die", but I'm not 100% sure of the 7th key. Weiki insists it's mentioned, so my guess is either Sickness (which would seem obsolete since that could be synonymous with Disease) from the line "with his high iron voice causing sickness" or my other, probably more likely guess is Cruelty, since this is not synonymous with any other sea but does fit the negative theme of what the other seas represent, and I guess this from the line "don't throw the key or you will see dimensions as cruel as they can be". So those would be my guesses. The 6th key being Disease and the 7th key being Cruelty. Since Weiki has claimed all 7 keys are definitely mentioned, these would be what makes the most sense to me.

Now we can certainly say that Helloween is having their best period \m/ \m/
Nope. It's rather renaissance, but not really the best period. Best was arguably 1994-2000
I dont think so...

Helloween have created another masterpiece, the vocals are really incredible, the notes they are hitting my god... Kiske and Deris have upped their game, with the rest of the band, fan since 88.
Deris e suas lindas composições...Mais alguém ansioso pelas composições do Weikath?
Queria ver as do Kiske e mais do Kai
@@rizzoporfirio1938 kiske não compôs para esse álbum!🙁
I'm sure the Weikath ones are the finishing touch
Okay, it's decided: we love this Helloween formation! ❤️

Let's see how Iron Maiden's fares.
I'm gonna have a hard time deciding between this and the new Dream Theater album coming up
Holy fucking shit! Andi went full berserker in this one! What a great song! This album is gonna be huuuuge!
I was the same!😃👍🎸
Best part is when Kiske sings "We rise when you're calling" and "The voice in the choir".
Best part of Andi - decide))🎃
Gänsehaut pur wenn nach 4:30 Minuten mit dem "Listen ...Listen to your heart" das Tempo wieder anzieht. 100% Helloween und nichts anderes sonst. 🎸
Happy Happy Helloween, Helloween, Helloween. Happy Happy Helloween, Wowowo..
This is a killer duet between Andi Deris and Michael Kiske! Helloween is back boys!
It's the second song accordingly to the track list released.
Kai's vocal presence in this song is sublime too.
I really don’t know any true Helloween fan could be disappointed by this song.....

@@greywebs1944 It's been stated by Weiki that all 7 keys are in fact mentioned in the song if listened to carefully enough.
@@markobighead3173 what is the 6 and 7 key?
