Your videos are awesome and I love your enthusiasm for retro games and game hunting in general!! I also was not aware that you were in the military, so I appreciate your service!! My dad was also in the military. I could see that It would be fun to game hunt with you!! I wish you continued success!!
15:08 I like this store's baggies for games. They had some really good prices on some games (like half ebay price). That Nintendo Power Mario comic compendium is actually the newer reprint, but it's still the same fun comics inside.
Thank you! This week so far was able to find Pokemon Heartgold CIB, Pokemon Black CIB, Pokemon White CIB, Pokemon sapphire loose, pokemon pinball ruby and sapphire loose and JAWS PS2 CIB. Paid grand total of 51% of pricecharting value ❤
Depends on the gamestops in your corresponding areas, it’s been pretty dry in my city, the last couple of months😭, but the online store has some good stuff too. Great video!!🔥
This is funny I had to bring this up lol I remember owning a used copy of "MegaMan legends"lol never could finish the game because the DISC was so scratched up. It always stopped at a certain point lol I do remember that game being challenging I never finished. It makes me want to bring out my PlayStation one and try to find MegaMan legends so I can play it just to see how it is.
It’s great when you pick up stuff like CIB Pokémon Gale of Darkness for $110, not so great when you point out they have repro N64 games and they get attitude with you over it.
I just love going to other GAMESTOP buy new video games. Ripping the plastic off from it. The smell it brings OMG I can do this every day y'all thank the Lord. I have a job... happy New Year's community happy New Year's, Mr. WRIGHT way
I just started hitting up GS Retros a few weeks ago and now I can't stop. FireRed for $53, CIB Silent Hill 4 for $100 and a CIB Pandoras Tower for $50. But at the same time, I see they're asking $53 for a loose Jurassic Park for the SNES. The pricing is all over the board.
51:24 What the heck are those PS2 boxes of PS1 games? Legend of Dragoon, Star Ocean, Lunar 2, Breath of Fire IV, Thousand Arms, Wild Arms 2, Parasite Eve. I don't think any of those got long boxes. What the hell are those? Fan prints? Or is gamestop doing that?
i bought sega repos.over seas.u get the case and game cartridges ,munal.there quality is good.i open inside and case looked original size case.after that super Nintendo ones.and it cost 20 dollars all in one box
Man, where are these Unicorn GameStops with retro games? Granted, I only have one official "Retro" store in my area, but it seems like the definition of "Retro" around me is 360, PS3, Wii, and Wii U... They didn't even have 3DS now Vita games, which really doesn't make it any different from the other GS stores around me.
@ I’m in a Major City - Metropolitan area, to be exact. 😞 There used to be a few good retro shops in this area years ago, but they’ve been long gone. GS gave me a glimmer of hope, until I checked out what they had. To add insult to injury, a few GS stores where I used to get some good 7th Gen stuff regularly have since been closed down.
Its hard to tell from the video, but yeah that copy of Ruby looked suspect. Easy ways to tell right off the bat, number imprint on the front sticker, the depth of the bevel of the Gameboy Advance text on the plastic of the cart is often deeper and more prominent on fakes, AGB-002 is always the model on the back of a gba cart. If all that checks out, you can pull up on google what a legit cart art looks like and compare them, and obviously the next step would be to actually open it up and look at the board. Not everybody rolling into gamestop with a trihex screwdriver in their pocket though. I've bought a fake of Mario Kart DS from them probably over a decade ago. I didn't think much of it because I figured DS fakes weren't as common and the copy I got was actually complete with box and manual, often don't see fakes like that either. I found out when I popped it into play and it comes up on the DS as a different game at the main screen with no icon. It will boot up to Mario Kart DS when it is played though. After I saw that, I further inspected case and manual and saw all the flaws in the printing so yeah, always stay alert for bootlegs. Also I heard that military discount doesn't stack with pro membership.
That ruby Pokémon is all kinds of fake and a terrible one between the glossy plastic cartridge and reprint label. No Nintendo cartridge is that glossy or clear throughout their history
I always remove the gamestop price sticker after buying. Once i hop in my car, its the first thing i do before driving away😂
SAME! Then when I get home I tell my wife "hey look what I got for $8!" LMAO
@@silverstatic same i hate the sticker it ruins the case
15:53 Ys VIII and IX on PS5 at 40 and 50 are really, really good prices

I'm going to gamestop Saturday to order Tomb Raider -Xbox 360 video game,Rise of the Tomb Raider-Xbox 360 video game
0:30 Not judging, but didn't you just sell a retro collection you challenged yourself to build (Saturn and that other shelf of retro)?

A lady who sold these to gamestop had a child who has special needs, this helped him
just picked up a leaf green but they also had a fake emerald. I showed them why it was fake and they said.. OH WELL.. Someone will buy it.. NO JOKE!
Wow

I only have around 20 PS3 games. I always find something good. PS4, PS5 are slim pickings, for me at least. Lol
