The disco days great memories in the 70s
I grew up listening to the Bee Gees in the 70s . They were really a big part of those great times and I miss them. Sadly Barry is the only brother left alive . I feel so sad for him 😔

Reminds of me of the mid to late '70s when the Bee Gees pretty much ruled the music world like nobody else - whether it was with their own recordings or songs they wrote that other artist covered that became hits. Their music defined a specific time that was nothing less than amazing. Even true rock fans (like me) understood how hard it was not appreciate their brilliant musical talent, that's how great they were.
This song is one of the prettiest of all songs, not just by the BeeGees.
It's fun to find reaction channels that never heard The Bee Gees. We were on a path to love back in the day. let's get back to those times and start over again.. sending love

You have to listen to this song with the movie scene that it was made for. John Travolta and his girl use this song for a dance contest and the dance is beautiful. Travolta kills it . OMG it will make the song 100 times better.

I think the curse of the Bee Gees is that they got HUGE and I mean HUGE soooo fast - and like all things that trend that way, they then go out of style quickly too. That's NOT to say I think they are bad or uncool - it's just what happens to a lot of artists who become everything, everywhere at once super fast for a few years. So they suffered in the long run, I think, from something they couldn't even really control - which was hitting that hard all at once. Great music. They also wrote and produced other artists too.

There are tons of Bee Gees songs that are as good as this and better, I would recommend Too Much Heaven, since it's one of the best harmony songs out there.
When I was a kid my brother liked to sing it as, "Bald-headed Woman."
To this day I cannot unhear it.
I thought that's what they were singing too. HA! 45 yrs ago I was singing along in the car when my nieces & nephew fell out laughing. That's when I found out the Bee Gees weren't singing "Bald Headed Woman...more than a woman to me...." They can't unhear it either.
