Dude used to be the only guy on UA-cam with my type of hair and dreads, a few years back there were no videos of biracial people with dreads, he was one of the first I saw really giving out useful info and tips, I ended up locking from the plat method then 2 strand twisted em, I started when I was 15 I'm 21 now bro helped me through the latter parts of my journey alot, no cap💯

Hey man, love your videos. Thanks for taking the time and doing walkthroughs, it’s hard to find good centralized sources of info on dreads that aren’t contradictory. Quick question: I had someone do my initial twist and I’ve been doing my own retwists since (I typically do it every other week but I’m switching to once a month.) I haven’t been super vigilant in keeping the roots separated and sectioned while retesting and I was wondering if that would affect how my fast my dreads lock up? Thanks again for everything man!

Try getting under a hair dryer or going out in the sun to harden and dry the locking gel while in the duck clips trust me you will see the difference on the retwist less oily

I think you should try making and using natural flax gel for your retwist. Great hold and it’s all natural which means no buildup. I have a video on my channel on how to make it. ✨
