I always hate how much scalp is showing when I get a fresh retwist I like how my locs look about 3-4 weeks later with some new growth underneath
Yep the longer you let that new growth grow then that when yo dreads really going to look done and and can do more thing with it

How long do you keep the two strand after combining the two locs ?
i try to keep them in long as possible but i like how then look when i take them down so like 5 day or just a week
ik ppl that keep em in for months it helps wit maturity but that twist out after a month is oooweee!

You can wash and hair then put oils on it while it’s in the two strand and it will be clean and fresh and your welcome
So how long should you leave it like that won't you eventually do a twist out or it would just keep making your hair looking shorter
I usually leave them in for like a week or two , just so when I take them down they will bc a lot more curlier , but I feel you they do be looking much shorter when they are twisted
So when you start are you making tighter at the root and looser as you get to the tip?
Tighter a the root and tight at the bottom to so like the hole thing has to be tight

You want to split them in half but before you do that you want to wash them y they are in that state or as I call it two strand twist you can wash it y it’s in state in they will look better to

I was getting one like every 2 week or every month but now i be waiting bc the longer you wait you get a retwist the longer your dreads will be so you should wait like 3 months

Any tips on how to start doing loc
First you want to find some people the are looking for someone one to do there re-twist their hair , then you was want to find some more people that has a person to re-twist their hair then do the ones that doesn’t have a person to retwist her hair and them are your first clients and then the people that have someone to re-twist their hair. They will start coming to you as you get better.
