I have hair just like you do and I put my hair in 2 strand twists every time I retwist my hair and it helps the dread stay skinny and reduces the frizz when taken out

I did my newest set two strand and then used a crochet needle. I’ve done crochet method years ago, but this is definitely my fav set
not gonna lie, your hair length is growing but its barely even progressing in the locing process. it just looks like messy curls right now. i'm just about to hit 6 months but my hair really just completely loc'd. this is obviously the distance in hair type and texture but its crazy to see the differences between the 2

@@owenkelly4983 depends on how long your hair is already if it’s at a good length(like to your neck)you can do it but if they’re still pretty short it wouldn’t look that good

Your hair will lock quicker.Gel slows down the locing process as it causes slippage.
