I built my son his first PC with some of my old parts and it’s almost the same build. Nvidia 3060, i5 12000, gigabyte mobo, Montech case ($40) trident DDR4 and I went with the Corsair 650. It’s a beast for 1080p gaming.

Finishing a 7800x3d, 7900xt phantom gaming, 32gb corsair 6000 30cl, 3tb m.2 ssd, all in a H9 flow case using reverse intake fans. Now just waiting on a few lian li lcd fans to top it all off. Love the content 👌 you are one of my favorites when it comes to pc builds and insites
hows the h9? does it accomdate that GPU well? like does everything fit good?
I run a 7800x3d in an H9 Flow case as well except i'm running a 4090 only difference. X670E ROG Crosshair mobo, Hynix a die at 6400 cl28. Phanteks D30 Fans, NZXT Kraken 360mm aio (new version, I hate it, tiny square for a screen should have just paid the extra for the elite. Too lazy to take it back to microcenter.)

@@ivanfukes6637 I have a H9 Flow and I currently have a Hellhound 7900XTX. I think it fits well; the cables are barely touching the glass. Temps wise with a 7800x3d I idle at 45 C and running most games I get up to 65-68C. GPU idles around 43C and games around 55c

It still looks very nice. For the price it isn't bad and NZXT's software is pretty good. You could get a 420mm thermaltake AIO that has an LCD screen that looks almost identical with better fans for the same price and a full size screen. Otherwise you have to pay the extra $100. If all you care about is monitoring temps or the clock, it's fine. If you use a GIF make sure it has a black background otherwise you'll see the small square screen and it looks weird.@@FreeAdvice4All

I upgraded my PC over the course of 3 months. Using a 5800X3D with 32gb ram, I finally went 1440p but it's 24" at 165hz that's what I wanted 😊 Then upgraded to a 2TB nvme only for games, then finally this month I got a 4070 Super. I'm done upgrading for a long time.

I am scrambling the parts of the 4k pc but im not the biggest fan of the lian li 216 casing. However I do like the lian li 011 vision alot but I was wondering if I am able to use that one as well within the same build without encountering any problems. Thanks in advance!

Im glad you're recommending the 4070 Ti Super, I know its expensive but it doesn't deserve nearly as much hate as its getting, still worth the price in my opinion.
I just bought one on its release date for my first pc build. I went with a full msi build(by accident really) msi trio 4070ti super, msi mag pano case,msi b760m motherboard, msi a100g psu, t force 32g 6000h ram, Intel i7 14700k. Can't wait to build it

@@agegonzo39 Thats an insane build, me personally I would've settled with AM5 CPU and Mobo just for future upgrades but honestly with a build like that you shouldn't need an upgrade for many years
@@mannygonzalez7320 I would say the VRAM is definitely the appeal on it, besides that though the performance is only slightly better but for the same price as the initial 4070 Ti its definitely a better deal at the moment.
I upgraded from a 3060ti to a tuf oc 4070 ti super - very good uplift, very happy with it and the extra ram. Yes, it’s expensive but that is what it is…

Just finished a revamp of my existing build. Swapped to the AP201 Mesh case and upgraded my 13600k to the LGA 1700 end game i9 14900k. Paired with 64GB 6400 RAM and Sapphire Nitro+ 7900 XTX. Thing is a beast. No regrets.

@@giganiga4793 aio mounted on top. Those fans and rear fan are exhaust. Two fans at the bottom under the GPU are intake

What CPU / motherboard is enough not to bottleneck a PC build for stable diffusion (AI image generation) with a high end RTX40xx GPU? Would one of the second hand Dell Precision workstations eg Dell Precision 5820 with Xeon W-2155 do the job? They often come with big PSUs and generous ram for low money. Otherwise I guess I'd go for a board and CPU as outlined in this video.

Could you put 32GB of ram in the Mid-range budget build? I play Tarkov and it's more intensive on the Ram than the GPU. I know some motherboards are weird about what sizes and such. I was just going to buy the two 32 gb sticks instead of the two 8's, just would love clarification before purchase lol
My 7600 CPU along with my 7700XT GPU paired perfectly with my CPU usually at 40% max on all the games I play and usually its because of how much fps I get out of my 7700XT

You said you didn’t like front mounting radiators. But what about *side* mounting radiators like what you would have to do in a Lian Li O11D EVO if you didn’t want to mount to the top? I think that the look is cleaner, and the tubes in particular can be more hidden and show off the components better.
Side is fine, as long as you have bottom or front ventilation
@@PcCentric Was planning on doing 3 intake fans on a side mounted AIO, 3 exhaust fans at the top, and one exhaust fan at the back. So no front or bottom ventilation since the O11D EVO has a front glass panel and no fans are gonna be at the bottom, but still plenty of airflow.

I literally built a new 4k rig last night, i went with a 7800 x3d processor and a 7900 xtx gpu, it is very performant so far.
the point I was going to make but forgot was the gpu was only a grand, compared to a 4070 ti super which runs at 800, and it has 24gb of vram

would a 4070 ti super pair up with a i9-12900k or even the 13 or 14 version under the conditions that i do play more cpu intensive games like apex valo and fortnite at 240htz high settings while also wanting to stream them at atleast 1080p high quality ? or if not what would you recommend i really need some help here😅

Just finished my first build. 4070 super aero oc, Ryzen 5600 (ik I broke a 5800x and needed something cheap before I upgrade to am5 in the summer) 32gb cl18 teamgroup, 360mL aio, H6 Flow RGB, 2tb ssd ripped from my ps5 and the white corsair rm850

No mate, you will be bottlenecked by CPU. You'd need to look at upgrading the whole rig.

got my 7700x cpu. cant decide between 4070 ti super and the 7900 xt but think im leaning towards the 4070 because of the power consumption.
I have the same setup using a 4070 and it works great! Better to save the $ in my opinion.

based on my research so far since launch, i would favor the 4070 ti super
from testing i have seen, for 1440p a 7600 and 7600x have no issue in bottleneck even paired up to an rx 7900 xt, there is probably no reason to go above that cpu

Is an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D + 4080 extremely good I only ask because I want it to be sustainable for the coming years until I decide to upgrade in the decade
7800x3d can run a 4090 without bottlenecking it, so I'm sure you'll be fine.

@@kmao508 it’s not too bad to be fair, the 4070ti works pretty good at 4K, just a bit sour about the VRAM haha
I fitted a DeepCool AK620 and the fans were too noisy, so I put in some black Noctua fans. I'd probably recommend spending the extra to begin with and getting a Be Quiet CPU cooler instead.

I’m currently underway on a build… I’m gonna go for Ryzen 78003XD (for longevity) and an RX 6700 XT, as I’ve only got a 1080p ultra wide monitor… internet, tell me I’m wrong…
Do you mean a ryzen 7800X3D? I’m no expert but I think that’s like one of the strongest cpus out there. Which is fine, but probably not when combining it with the RX 6700 XT. So maybe downgrade the cpu you picked and/or upgrade the gpu. However, don’t just take my word for it, so do some research into what would be your best options :)
@@Potato_Peel_ I looked at possibly downgrading the CPU pal, but I thought for the sake of spending an extra £100 or so, it’s probably worth the extra power and future proofing…
@@leegrice1210 What are you future proofing it for? Are you planing on upgrading the gpu sometime in the future? If that’s the case, then I’d say go for it. However at 1080p you won’t need the best gpu out there, unless you’re going for high frame rate, but I don’t know much about how it would work in ultra wide.
It’s all up to you if that fits with your needs and desires.

A friend of mine just bought a prebuilt from some lesser known company with a 4080 and 14900k for $5000, not a typo!!!! I tried to tell him it was rediculous but you cant tell anyone anything once they have thier mind made up. I built a similar pc on partpicker for half the price and he still didnt want to hear it 🙄

I have watched many of your videos. I also like video editing, graphic design and photoshop work. But it is very difficult for me to buy a good computer and camera for that. Moreover, buying these computers in our Sri Lanka is an expensive dream. I am an 18 year old boy still going to school. I love doing these things when I go to school. My parents don't have a lot of money so we can't force our family to buy these devices. On the one hand, I'm very sad that I didn't get what I wanted.🤕
Build around the gpu. You only need a cpu that won’t bottle neck the gpu.

It's kinda hard to do that since GTA VI on PC wasn't even announced for the game's launch. No one knows what the PC requirements will be. It may come 1-2 or more years after it launches on consoles.
I didn't do a new build. I just made some upgrades. Nabbed a RX 580 (8gig) card, and a R5 5600 processor. I think my little rig will last another five years now.
Ha. It'll last longer than that. I still have an Intel i7 3770 with the RX 580 and 16 GB RAM. Still going strong running Windows 10
@@l.i.archer5379 Honestly, I upgraded this PC from a 3200g + RX 570 4gig. I built it back in 2020, and it's still 4 years on. New upgrades give PCs longer lifespans.
I still consider the 6700xt the mid range king. I know alot has changed with GPU price fluctuation over the last few years, but i still cant stomach the fact of almost 500$ being considered "mid-range" 😅. The times are changing i suppose! It does make more sense now that 1440p is so predominant I guess.
Typing all this just makes me feel old tbh.

yes. however, it may be worth spending more on a 5600x to future proof your opportunity to play at 1440p given you upgrade your graphics card. that being said, the 5600x and 3600 use am4 so if you don't have that little bit more in your budget, you can always upgrade to a 5600x down the line for 1440p.

Debating upgrading my 3080. But 1,800 for a 4090 is a hard pill to swallow. But it seems like we are at least a year away from the 50 series (gaming at 4k).

Currently on 5600x/3060ti FE is it worth upgrading to 5950x/3080 FE??
If your just gaming I would suggest the 5800X3D it will be a huge boost in FPS . If you need that 5950x for other than gaming def. get that. On the GPU , what is your budget on it?

@@jaz97 oh ok then the 5950x would be best to do both gaming and editing. The 4070 non super if it drops to $500, you will have frame gen and dlss 3 and also a lot less power draw.

Imo if you're building today as I am, It's stupid not to go for a 4090 build. Of course if you play high demanding 4K games. Simply because 4090 is unmatched, yeah you pay 2K more, those 2k won't matter in the 7+year long run. 50xx series will be at best, 30% better than 4090s and 4090 is already an overkill. Now if you plan to grab a 50xx series, then it makes sense to go with 4070. But me personally, 4090 is a no brainer deal given todays gaming state.

UA-camrs really need to stop recommending the f variants of CPUs. If for nothing else the on board graphics are useful for troubleshooting. With the 12400 you lit. saved 10$ which is nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Never go with supers unless you have good cooling systems. They tend to not last long as well, trade in value is bad for them as well. 4070 is fine. Don’t really need 4090 for a bit since gaming companies are still using same engines and still having their own performance issues.
