I love shepherds pie but it always makes me think of Savannah. Having said that where are the better places to get shepherds pie in the NOLA area besides this place? Thanks for posting!
The Lamplighter Lounge's online menu doesn't list Shepard's pie -- is it offered on a certain day, or always? We haven't been bowling in a long time! 🎳
They have a changing menu of daily specials at Colonial Lanes and the website says they still do. The Lamplighter in the bowling alley doesn't do food while the one in Metairie does burgers (or used to as of my last visit). I just called Colonial Lanes and asked what the daily lunch specials were.

That Shepherd’s Pie looked amazing. The peas…not so much!
The frozen are far superior 👍

On a regular basis it isn't easy to find. The Irish Pubs tend to have it as a special. Vic's Kangaroo Cafe seems to keep it on their menu.
