I'm glad y'all had fun here in New Orleans.😊 When you come back to New Orleans, try the fantastic gumbo and food at Dooky Chase Restaurant. Also try Barrow's Catfish and Lil Dizzy's. They have delicious food.😋 Willie Mae's Scotch House Restaurant will be reopening in 2025. They had a fire there. The best fried chicken in New Orleans.😂 🙏💘
I love all the details that you’re showing us on this video… The editing and the narrating is amazing. Thanks so much for an amazing tour of New Orleans. ❤️❤️
It looks like y'all had fun. New Orleanian here, it's New Or-lens, not New Or-leans. Also, we just call it the French Market, not the open air French Market. I always tell ppl that Bourbon St is something that you should only do once, it's just a tourist trap. Frenchman St and the Warehouse District/Magazine St. have much better bars. And yes, our potholes can eat entire cars, that's part of the problem of building a city over basically swamp land, and it's why our cemetaries are above ground. When they first started burying bodies in the early days of the city, the bones would just pop up out of the ground. You mentioned Winston Churchill, next time y'all come, please check out the National WWII museum. It's one of the best in the world.
Now I'm wondering what the "incident" was... makes me wonder what I'm getting myself into going there. This video is the best video I have seen so far. I love how you tied this all together and explained things so well. Great job!!
Just left New Orleans literally a couple days ago, went down there for the 4 of July weekend during the essence festival, omg me and my wife had a blast, the city was jammed packed with thousands, I mean thousands of people, and we gotta chance to see a lot and sight see, we walked down Bourbon Street, man it was Jamming!!!!!, we went to the French Quarter Market, went to the Riverwalk Mall, went to the Swamps on the other side of the city to do the swamp tours, went to the festival at the convention center during the day, it was lovely, we gonna make it a tradition to go back every year around the 4th of July, but Man the city was Jammed Packed, it was live every were we went it was literally 100’s and thousands of people, loved it, New Orleans is better than Vegas hands down, we stopped at Cafe Beignet to which is also in This video❤️
@troym.reaves You haven't seen anything, until you come for Mardi Gras 🎉 here in New Orleans.😂 It's so jammed packed. You will have lots of fun at the parades!😊 🙏💘
Thank you for this great vid on my city...we love it here too! Beautiful videography, well done. We are the most European city in America, seemingly unchanged over the years since 1718. Architecture, food, music, joie de vivre, Mardi Gras, history, museums galore, walkable, Jazz, culture, Hollywood South, literature giants, friendly people, historical cemeteries, melding of cultures, and food (oops did I say food again?). Ya'll come!

Her voice should be in cartoons
I was thinking the same....a little to high pitch for me 😂
She sounds like a character from Sesame Street imo! (Compliment)
I wonder what her voice sounds like AFTER she inhaled some helium?
