That tattoo on her left arm in the right picture on this video. In my opinion does not compliment any Rolex or any other designer watch. No offense to anyone with a tattoo. I would just rather see a woman with a beautiful watch then cancer causing ink in your arm that will eventually fade and look like a magic marker all over your arm.🙈👎
One thing I'd like to add as I learned my lesson the hard way when I got my PRX: If you like the look of the PRX with the leather strap but think you might eventually want the bracelet, order the watch with the bracelet. I made the mistake of ordering with the leather strap and then decided I wanted the bracelet after viewing more reviews. (BTW, I live in the US) I checked the Tissot website where I found the black and the blue straps available for $55 USD, but no bracelet. I checked ETSY and found people that could make custom straps, but no bracelets. I continued to search and finally found genuine Tissot PRX bracelets available through Chrono24, but only from a German source in Hamburg. Best price was about $115 USD, but by the time I paid taxes and shipping, it cost $185 USD. Plus took over two weeks due to costoms. Had I purchased the bracelet with the watch, the price was less than $50 over what I paid for the PRX with bracelet. I wanted to pass this on in hopes of saving someone a few dollars (pounds, euros, etc).
Agreed, it makes more financial sense to go bracelet and buy the leather strap. However, I got my blue Powermatic 80 PRX with leather strap for just $420 on Jomashop, so it was worth getting the bracelet later. I could just buy one on Ebay for $115 as you alluded to. But then found the Quartz blue PRX for just $250 on Jomashop. Might as well spending another $135 or so more and get a whole PRX quarts with the bracelet, now I have two watches I can switch between straps, one auto and the other quartz.
I recently brought 3....Prx 80 the chronograph(panda) and the ladies Prx 40(for my daughter).....my advice to anyone who is thinking of getting one, please do you won't be disappointed their beautiful watches
Great to hear from you again Jenni. Hopefully you’re feeling refreshed after your break. Value your insight and analysis as always on smashing Watches. Your positivity always great to hear; without dodging necessary criticism.
It’s not for me but I’m so happy it exists! Tissot has so many great watches in its historical catalogue and this model clearly show their future potential.
I tried one on at an AD recently and was impressed, but I thought it was slightly over priced. I found one last night on Toppers (very well regarded watch retailer in California) for $1250 delivered. LNIB so I couldn't pass it up. Expect an unboxing video next week.
Hi Jenni! So happy to see you back! I hope your time off was nice. Thank you for another very informative video! I will say, I do like the Tudor that you showed.......
Welcome back! The regular 40mm PRX is a big watch. I can’t even imagine how much of a beast this chronograph would be. They should make a 38mm quartz chrono PRX. That would be a great size!
I actually tried a PRX on, so this is not some random armchair comment after reading the spec sheet. 40mm in that watch with that integrated bracelet wears really big. My 42.5mm SKX wears smaller.
Hi I just bought one ten days ago and it's great wear well seize on my 7.5 in wrist and it looks fantastic with the blue dial I can't say anything negative about the watch love it
Great to see such a positive, smiley and insightful watch personality is back with us watch fans. Enjoyed the content and the updated presentation style.
I tried on both PRX and chrono at the Swatch Group store at Zurich airport back in June. Although I like the chrono, I felt it was too much of a beast on my wrist, and a bit flashy, especially with the contrast dial. I might have considered it with a monochromatic chrono dial and/or in a smaller size like 42mm. In the end, I got the simple PRX with the smaller diameter since I found it more low key. I actually wore the PRX quite a bit over the summer, to avoid getting mugged/attacked in Europe. Left the luxury watches at home in the Middle East.
Welcome back! Please don't stay gone so long. You can give us updates on your sock drawer if you are lacking for content. We really miss seeing your smiling face.
Welcome back. An intriguing movement, seems similar to my Omega Seamaster Chronograph cal.3330 which also has a date pusher in the same position embedded in the helium escape valve 🤔
Yes! Jenni Elle returns!! This watch is cool but I feel like the Hamilton Intramatic Chrono would be a better fit for me in this price category... thought I really wish Hamilton would put a sapphire caseback on that watch.
Welcome back! The polishing on the Tissot's are really eye catching. It's the bracelet that I have hard time getting over on this model. For the money I would steer toward the blue dial Le Locle instead.
Welcome back! Missed your videos. Despite being a Tissot fan, I have been on the fence about the blue PRX P80. I am now leaning on for, so it can compliment my Gentleman.
Glad to have you back! And what a nice watch to come back. Hope you get enough rest because after so long we need an update. Great video as always! Thanks Jenni
Welcome back! The Chrono is too big and expensive for me. I've been enjoying a quartz 35mm PRX for just over a month. The accuracy is currently an excellent +5 seconds.............. a YEAR.
It is alive! Hope you had a great sabbatical. Tissot is very underrated. The integrated bracelet would kill this one for me; would want to put a black rubber strap on at some point. But the movement and exo caseback is gorgeous.
One of my all time favorite watches is the Vacheron Constantin Overseas so this watch is great! It looks enough like it to get me to notice, with several details that still set it apart.
Welcome back Jenni, you've been missed! Great vid too. Any comparable chrono is going to use some variation of the 775x and it's 7.9mm tall so they are all going to be thikk boi's, and generally larger watches. Tissot have done a good job here and the pricing is more than fair in my opinion. You have to compare it with say Hamilton Intramatic although quite a different style. I'm a Tudor fan-boy but found the Royal disappointing in the metal.
Gotta agree re: the 775x. The only way to reduce case height is to modify the movement to be manually wound like Hamilton did with the intramatic chrono H…and pare the case height down a couple of mm.
Welcome back Jenni, great to see another review. The vey popular Swatch group Valjoux 7753 (itself based on the 7750 with the sub dials at 6, 9 and 12) based movement is a cracking workhorse that should be easy to get services by a decent watchmaker. These movements can be found in a huge number of watches and if I recall correctly every one that I've seen that has a date has the date pusher at 10. The date still automatically advances around midnight. The 7753 movement is also used as a base for the Longines Big Eye but is modified with a column wheel instead of the cam operation, the Omega 3300 takes the architecture of the modified Longines unit and added the coaxial escapement. There are too many others to list. The PRX chronograph is one that I'd like to see in the flesh for both variations, I like the blue dial but put off by the white date at 4:30, the light dial allows the date to hide a little better at the expense of at a glance readability. Thanks for sharing.
The Junghans maxbill chrono is considered a good value at the same price while utilizing the same movement, but with less attention to finishing. Despite the size, the prx chrono is an awesome value
Hi Jenni! Can you do a video on a few great women entry watches under $500.00 for those of us starting this journey with a smaller wallet?! Thank you lots! Happy I found you.
I was happy to buy the homage hah, but honestly partly because of the MUCH smaller dimensions. In my opinion the integrated bracelet look doesn’t work when bulky like a big dive watch. It’s just too much. Shame really, but I’m excited for my homage!
nice video. i'm struggling for a week now between prx powermatic 80 and this. I love this. but i really wish i could try them both on first! i dont know what to do besides order both and return one lol.
I'm thinking of getting this one. I have the 40mm automatic, and it wears so small, appears slightly feminine. A 42 that's chunkier like this one should be perfect for me.
It appears the blue version is more popular than the white version. Currently there's one for sale for €1200 euros, and it doesn't seem to attract many buyers since its been up now for over a week. The blue ones seems so far to go second hand for just shy of retail, and they usually go pretty quickly. Here in Norway there's currently 4 for sale, all of them are white dials. And personally, I too like the blue one better. If they were just a little bit thinner or smaller diameter I'd pull the trigger on one. Consider I haven't actually tested it first hand, so maybe it doesn't wear as big as I think, but with the fairly wide snd thick integrated bracelet, it might sit well on the wrist. One would definitely feel its presence. Maybe after I have tried it on I will feel different. Currently I think I'll stick with a 40mm PRX P80, and save up for a Tudor GMT Pepsi instead.
I didn't know that because personally I like the white dial better but anyways I won't get it because it's thick and it won't look good on my 6.25 inch wrist. The Prx p80 is perfect, i also have one and love it. Instead of this chrono now I'm looking forward to get a sub 2k automatic gmt. Overall I think chrono watches look cool, but the complication is not that useful but they're still more useful than moonphase 😂✌🏼
@@Jack.Napier I agree that a GMT is more useful than a chronograph, but as a fisherman, hunter and overall do a lot of hiking and stuff a moon-phase is something I find as important as a date function. But then again, I'm a part-time hermit weirdo living in a different century up in Northern Norway. Haha. What kind of GMT are you looking at? The Moonphase watch I ended up buying was actually a Sugess with a Sea-Gull movement. Kinda dressy and a bit Breguet'ish, yet not so expensive I don't dare using it outdoors, and goes great with my classic flyfishing dress. I know Fredrique Constant has a lot of nice moon-phase watches for a fair price, but haven't found many on the domestic second hand market.
@@raven_of_zoso455 oh, sorry, that's my mistake, i had no idea that a moonphase could be this useful in those situations. Thanks for teaching me that. I know Sugess, they make interesting watches with prices no one can compete with, they even make $600 tourbillions, that's something crazy. I think we're going to hear more from them in the future. I'm looking for a GMT with max 40mm case size and I've found CW C63 Gmt to be a good choice for me, there's also Monta Atlas but it's hard to find and I don't know if its higher price in comparison with the CW is worth it.
@@Jack.Napier both great alternatives! I really want a GMT watch myself too, but I too struggle to settle on just one. Gonna try out the Seiko GMT when my local AD get it in. Yes, Sugess and Sea-Gull are kinda underrated, I think it's mainly because they make an occasional homage watch, and with many other watches that say they have Sea-Gull movements, actually have Malaysian copies that are neither regulated, nor lubricated. Sugess and Seestern both use real Sea-Gull movements from what I've heard. Now, my opinion on them making homage watches I think is mainly to expand to this market where they can compete with the best in regards to quality, specs, and finishing. And with Sea-Gull being the only one offering quite nice swan-neck column-wheel chronograph movements for watches way below the barrier of $2-3 grand you find from Swiss brands, and done in a way which doesn't feel like the terrible parody one might expect, I think it fills a nice gap in the market for when you want to try something new, but don't want to spend big money on it. I'm currently looking at a Sugess with the iconic Sea-Gull ST1901 swan-neck column wheel movement, and the watch measures 38mm diameter and has a thickness of 11,5 mm (including a domed sapphire crystal)! Price is just over $200.
@@raven_of_zoso455 seiko gmt is a good choice and it's good priced, i like the blue dial myself. I will definitely add a Seiko to collection in the future, I respect what their doing, my father had a Seiko for like 45 years, that watch is still beating. I know the watch you're describing, that's a beautiful watch, and a really good looking movement. I mean both your choices are good watches and there are no other competitions at their price range to be honest.
Wow those are rough looking gears at 6:18 for a new watch. Not bashing on Tissot, but it's understandable how some watches are expensive in that they are detailed in handcrafting movements to the minute detail.
At last someone who has their eyes open. The watch looks good but I think that you need a large wrist to do it justice I was looking at purchasing one but it's $250 to expensive nice watch but I will hold back to see how the price goes on the pre-owned. I am lucky to have a wrist size of 20-21cm so it's a case of wait and see what happens with the price on the pre-owned market.
The Timex Q GMT, the Seiko ssk (they wear really small with only 46mm l2l), yema superman GMT, tudor BB pro (beware it's chunky) and finally just a basic retro Casio.
Hi Elizabeth. Timex Q Gmt is 38mm. MAEN Gmt is 38mm but it's hard to find. The best 38mm Gmt I've ever seen is the Monta Atlas, it's a beautiful watch and that's my favorite choice for that size. If you could get the Monta just don't waste your time and buy it instantly, specially the one with the white dial. Teddy Baldassare reviewed that watch in his channel.
Your hair looks Pretty when it’s long like that Jenni . You should Keep growing it . You look very feminine that way ..and it matches well with your tattoo
You should have mentioned the soon to come Telemeter, ahich could be a better choice for a vintage watch admirer. And possibly give a mention of a watch that the PRX tries to mimic, the Royal Oak chronograph and whether it can be seen as a success or not. And you do not make a conclusion, is it good or not that much?

My Bell&Ross HUD is 51mm lug to lug, no problems here.
For a 7753 Val , with a beatiful integrated braclet it's not high price at all
Great video hope the time spent away was great for you
Looks great. wish it didnt have a date window and no display caseback. if they changed those two things this would be a perfect budget chrono
Such a cool watch 😍
At last someone who has their eyes open. The watch looks good but I think that you need a large wrist to do it justice I was looking at purchasing one but it's $250 to expensive nice watch but I will hold back to see how the price goes on the pre-owned. I am lucky to have a wrist size of 20-21cm so it's a case of wait and see what happens with the price on the pre-owned market.
Hi Jenni! Great video as usual. Can you review the Tissot Women's Lady Heart
Is this a good entry watch under 300?! Worth it?!
Welcome back.
*Welcome Back.* *Smiles*
Nice to see you back! Question: are there any GMT’s you recommend for smaller wrists? Maybe a max of 38mm?
Lorier Hyperion is 39mm but since it's a microbrand they are hard to get.
Grand Seiko SBGN011 is a nice one, 40mm but wears relatively small.
Jenni, you look llke you lost weight. I hope everything is okay. You've been missed! Love your pragmatic way of looking at things.
Nice review. I thought it interesting you use the English idiom "comparing apples and oranges", the Germans I work with always say "apples and pears"
Welcome back Queen of Watches! 👑
I'd love to see even more IBWC content 🙌🏿
The prx isn't my style but I think they are great value for money.
So happy to see you back I have just bought the Longines spirit in blue 40 mm they’ve also just brought out a 37 mm
I have an 18cm wrist and found the PRX hung over the edges too much. I was disappointed because I love it
Beautiful timepiece
I clicked right away .. haven’t seen you make vids in awhile glad you are back
Welcome back Jenni! Missed your content!!
Welcome back, Jenni! 🙌🙌

Welcome back!! Expecting to see more of your videos😀
Good to see you back! 😊 hope you had a great time off
Your hair looks
Pretty when it’s long like that Jenni . You should
Keep growing it .
Wish it was a couple mm smaller. So nice.
