Should have checked and adjusted your valve lash whilst you had the value/rocker cover off. Generally you'll know it's overdue because the engine starts to make a loud 'ticking' sound which wasn't present when the 4B11 engine was new and in-spec. Also, use a torque wrench next time and follow the service manual bolt tightening routine (there is a certain sequence you have to torque the value/rocker cover, much like the star pattern on wheel lug nuts).
depends on what spareparts you are looking for. I normally don't go to SC cause the price is much higher. What I will do is search around Shopee and Lazada first. Then go to any areas with high concentration of workshops cause there is bound to be a spare part shop nearby. For specialize shops like AC parts supplier, I would ask any normal spare part shops if they know any nearby that they can recommend.
@@mohdkamal3235 If its just a drain at the bottom without removing the pan and the filters, its most likely gonna be just 4 liters. Basic rule, fill it up to the correct level at the dipstick, go drive around, check and fill more if needed until the dipstick reaches the maximum level. In my case, i put in 4 liters, drove around and added 1 more liter after.
@@mohdkamal3235 You might wanna check the dipstick and see if there is enough oil. As long as it is enough, doesn't matter they use 4 liters or 5 liters.
bau hangit banyak punca. kena la check. Kalau gasket ni leak, akan nampak minyak keluar kat tepi engine. Tapi kalau bau hanyit cuma selepas merembat, then kemungkinan besar gasket block atau tempat lain yang leak.
As far as I know the engine, gearbox and chassis is sourced directly from Mitsubishi. The rest of the car, depending on batch, could be either Mitsubishi or Proton.
just a suggestion,better use silicone type gasket since we dont want to perform same process in short time...but now not sure how genuine the silicone one hahaa

I just replaced my valve cover gasket and cleaned my engine, but I noticed my car still leaks.. found it was from the metal head gasket 😂 can does anyone know how to replace that?
metal head gasket isn't that easy to DIY. cause you will need to remove everything inside the cylinder head which includes the tappets and valves..... its like a top overhaul.

CVT fluid, i refill with 5 liters and it hits the correct maximum level on the dip stick
