Do the lights on the trunk work ?
Note Toyota refreshed the Corolla for the 2017 model and the lens is different on the SE/XSE trim. It is completely red with a white strip which is a LED light (tail light)
is it the same with strobe lights?
hey my 2014 corollas rear driver side tail light is working, but wont light up more when i press the brake? would the bulb be causing that problem even though its lighting up as marker lights?
Thank u sir
Welcome.
Can’t seem to find the third brake light replacement for Corolla 2014
I wish all videos were this in depth even when I don’t need them to be. Because everytime I do need an in depth vid I cant find it
Thanks!
Good, I like your video. I'm just wondering if I need to replace the rear side marker lights, do I have to remove the whole tail lights?
No, don't have to remove the whole light assembly to replace bulbs. Both bulbs are shown in the video and they are behind the carpet. One is "brake+sidemarker" combination and the other signal bulb. So if the side marker is burnt out, it's the bottom bulb, clear color.
Thanks for video. First time writing on here. I own an old Toyota Matrix 2004, basic model. There's an issue with the rear brake light on the right. Left side is fine. Tried to change the bulb. it's not that. Pushing break pedal only lights the left side. I also noticed that when the engine is off, and I turn the headlights to high beams, the lights in the back also light up - and both sides. - all the lamps! I know, this sounds like a mistery. Any advice would be aprreciated. Thx.
You'll need someone to do some diagnosis.. Try to find a mechanic that's good at electrical testing. Are you absolutely sure it's not the bulb? Brake bulbs have two filaments, one to light up half way, the other to light up even further.. it's possible that it lights up half way but not all the way if the second filament is broken. If you've made sure the bulb is good, then some electrical testing is next.
@@CleverFix Thanks for your quick reply. So finally I solved the issue. The bulb I replaced was the turn signal light. The brake light that was bad was further up, which I failed to notice on the first couple of tries. So, I popped the new one in, and it worked.
Simple question, but I’m not very good with cars. On my Corolla, one of my tail lights only illuminates when braking. Why am I having this problem and what do I need to do?
You need to replace the clear bulb in the video which is the brake bulb. It has two filaments, one must be burned out.
nice to meet you .do you need to buy led?we are led manufacture.
Does the battery need to be off?
The car should be off, with the lights turned off. If the lights are on, then putting in the new bulb will turn it on right away, which is not good, because it will be bright and get hot.
I know how and it's pretty simple, but I just thought I'd be the first to mention that it says TAIL LIGHT but shows BRAKE and TURN signal.
The brake bulb is a combination brake + tail light, it has two phases. But you're right, I should mention all of them in the title.

Still wrong g bulb
Couldn’t get lightbulb out. Think I broke it. Lol fuck this shit
