Very simple! Thank you. I attempted doing this in the dark and did see the panel and was worried I was going to have to remove several bits and bobs. Can easily do this in 10 minutes in the light of day now. Appreciated.

No panel on the 2011. Manual says to "remove luggage trim cover clips" which lets you get behind the surface your panel is attached to.

Thanks for the helpful video. By the way I have the Toyota Matrix 2009, and the brake light bulb on driver side burnt out. I tried to remove it but it was very difficult to do ( it has no room to put hand in !) I truly appreciate if you have the video for that model.

no hatch door for light bulb change on my 2013 corolla S, had to take a plug out and bend fabric. The bulbs were actually really really hard to get out, i broke one after about an hour of no luck and just broke out the bits that were left in the socket with needle pliers. I completely buthered my socket but it still works, the new bulbs work with no problems just thought i would post in case some one else had stuck bulbs. BREAK THEM !!!!!!!!
