Newer Washworld Razor Edge at Crystal Clean Car Wash in San Antonio TX (Left Bay)

Today, I'm up at the Crystal Clean Car Wash in San Antonio TX at their location on Potranco Rd to check out one of their 2 Washworld Razor Edge car wash systems. This system was recently installed barely a year ago replacing an old PDQ ProTouch Tandem (and that replaced a Laserwash 4000) to go along with the other Razor Edge in the bay next to it ( • Newer Washworld Razor ... , and is specked out just like the one in the right bay, but just without the Lumen Arch, but was at least custom specked out with the same Crystal Clean logo on the wash gantry and signage respectively to look unified with the right bay Razor Edge. I bought the top dollar wash for this video, which at the time came out to $16, and wash quality for this, I would give it a solid 9.5/10 (These Razors never cease to amaze me), the undercarriage wash did excellent (and you may notice that this doesn't have the standard power tower wheel blasters, as they opted to use the original wheel blasters back then why had the Laserwash 4000 from years ago), the first pass of presoak was a little light, and also to note instead of jumping straight into the next presoak pass, the system instead gave a high pressure rinse cycle after that, the 2nd presoak pass did much better than the first (with front and rear double passes), as did the 2nd high pressure rinse cycle (with front and rear double passes respectively), tri-foam pass was excellent, as was the interestingly high pressure rinse from the back, lava wax pass did pretty good from the Hyperflex applicators, a part of the SpectraRay feature (standard on the Razor Edge), as did the overhead sprayers to wash it off, and the spot free rinse cycle was good and also came out of the HyperFlex applicators, and the arch 4 production with e-trunk High Velocity (Premier) Dryers did a very good job drying off the vehicle. Also presoak before and after the first high pressure rinse, what the heck

That was likely programmed intentionally. I've been to some other places that program their wash cycles that way, I believe it's supposed to help washing off stubborn dirt off the car.

This unit lacking LumenArch also applies to other Razor EDGE installations that were installed after 2023. Washworld was forced to discontinue LumenArch because of a lawsuit by Belanger

They had a legal dispute between LumenArch and the light up arms that are on some Kondor units. Belanger ended up winning the lawsuit
