- In this video, we will show how to replace the rear stop and turn signal light bulbs in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 Toyota RAV4. To access the bulbs you will need to remove the whole tail lamp assembly.
Brake Light Bulb Size: 7443.
Rear Turn Signal Bulb Size: 7440NA.

This is how a DIY video should be made: straight to the point; stable and focused camera; clear and easy to follow. Some youtubers just like to point camera at their face and blabla talking five minutes before even get to the point.

I love it when a video is straight to the point without all the unnecessary filler and TALK. Thank you although I must say this seems a little complicated compared to what I was expecting. I thought this would be done by pulling a panel from the inside which would give access to the bulbs inside the assembly. However, this isn't difficult either. I once again must thank you. i hardly do any diy work - avoid it in general in fact - but looked for the most simple instructions i can find in youtube (yours) in order to save $$$ and was able to complete the job. it took a little longer because despite using a rubber disc for friction when sliding off the old piece, it was tough to get it to budge. and i also struggled even longer to get the existing connections snug into the new cover. but it was all done in less than 30min 🎉

mine had 9mm bolts for some reason. be careful not to pull up at all or you'll crack the housing...

Más o ideal é testar acendendo, antes de por de volta. Por que as vezes uma lâmpada nova , pode está queimada ou não encaixada direito , au vc repõe a tampa de volta ou o farol😅😊
You are right. It is a good idea to turn on the lights to check if the new light bulb is working before you reinstall the tail light assembly.

@@AVelasquez22 He's using a small (metric) socket wrench, which has sockets to fit different size bolts. The particular bolt being removed is 10mm so he's using that size socket.
Can these be replaced for LED bulbs?

Socket wrench and 10mm socket.
Very helpful video. Toyota stupid & low quality design. I cracked my taillight assembly while trying to jiggle out. The more you pull, the more cracking shows up. Can't believe Valeo made this for Toyota.
