Good, informative video. This task differs year to year, also differs with make and model. What would have been much more helpful would be to name the bulbs that you were showing (i.e. back up light, turn signal, brake/taillight). Also, if you would have mentioned that the brake and taillight were the same bulb. Even more informative and helpful, at the conclusion of the video, would be to tell us that you can find the bulb replacement info in the owner's manual of the car. I know what I'm looking at and looking for in the trunk to replace these bulbs, but a super beginner at this would be lost when watching this video.

Removing the bulb itself is not just pulling it out..you have to push in first and twist..

Not that style. It appears to be a 7443 bulb which just pulls straight out.

@@googleusergp yup just pull the bulb straight out of the socket, you'll break something if you try to twist it. The old style is a bayonet mount where you push in and twist. Not the subject of this video.

@@anullhandle Yup, I changed the taillight bulb on my neighbor's 2014 Corolla for them. It was a 7443 bulb and it just pulls straight out. Uses the same bulb as my 2012 Chevrolet Sonic. I just bought a 2024 Corolla and that car has LED lighting.

@@googleusergp there's bayonet, wedge, plastic wedge (3) clear and yellow tint (2) single, dual filament (2) =12 combinations for the same damn thing. Pretty much guarantees I don't have the one I need.

On the 2017-2019 Corolla SE/XSE trims the back up light on trunk lid is a LED light, so their is no need to change it
