Good video Jason. I got my Fujitsu scanner yesterday. Needed to see this video! Thank you. Going to be using card dealer pro starting this weekend!
Nice enjoy that hungry beast lol!
Thanks for the review JMac. Been using CDP for about a year - 2.0 is an improvement over the original version.
The newest version is awesome. It’s not a perfect by any means but man it is impressive and efficient. By all means if a tool can make you more efficient it’s worth the money.
Great feedback and I agree the overhaul was well executed
First great video thanks for taking the time. So are you feeding cards into the printer in a batch or do you have to do them 1 by 1? I will go look over your videos to see if you have one showing the scanning process. Thanks!
another great informative video.wold love foryou to make another about ebay discussing where you think it is going.
Great video,, looking into CDP now and buying new scanner.
I started using this with Pokemon cards it’s really amazing how many cards I can upload now! I just use a normal scanner on my printer and a trick I found for those who use that typical scanner is place your cards into a card sleeve with black inside the card sleeve. It brought the accuracy up to about 99% the black card sleeve helps the AI find the card edges much easier.
I think they did a great job making it faster and having the database actually work as expected. I think your review is very honest and gives the basics in a straightforward manner. Thanks
Thanks for commenting and your feedback
Its better, but still needs a little more help for ease of use. Not sure why the pictures flip back to original state when you upload. I do like the easy search on the card attribute page. Any guidance form the people out there on 1985 and other cards with light green back not scanning into paper-stream? Ive tried adjusting settings but Im stuck with no way to fix it.... Im using FI8170 fyi.
Next step for me is a desktop scanner for slabs....!!!!
Have you had issues putting the correct names and changing prices on CDP. Then, after they have been exported to Ebay, they change back to the original prices and names that CDP had them under.
Have you done a video on profit? I'm currently an eBay seller selling everything including sports cards. I have thousands of rookies and star base cards and considering selling lower-profit cards. What's your average inventory and sales a day? Thank you
great content thanks
Hey JMAC thanks for all the videos I am just getting started with CDP. One of the issues I'm having (probably due to lack of knowledge) is locating the cards again once I list them. I have about 1000 cards listed and when i sell them I need a better system to LOCATE them before I ship. Any advice?
this is how we do it, but everyone should come up with a system that works for them. ua-cam.com/video/ZFPRDpBLqqU/v-deo.htmlsi=gzl3MGhj4CDiWFOi
Your affiliate link to the 8170 is out? It has 3 buying options at $999. Unfortunately, I bought the 8040 and now returning it. Are you still using card dealer pro?
Thanks for the heads up, heres the new link: amzn.to/3UCZdYZ
And yes use CDP still daily.
My first 50 cards scanned, same as I did with cdp 1. 5 were recognized with their AI. It is horrible!! They boast 70% recognition but I can't get higher than 10%, printer is set at 300dpi, and it's 23 mosaic football score, elite
I have not had their system come even close to recognizing half the cards and the half it did recognize were inaccurate (wrong players). I'm going to be testing more, but it was so bad I didn't even start listing on ebay. LOL... it's a shame I need something like this to help go through the cards I have. JMac, do you think the system has more success with certain types of cards (era, sport, brand, etc?)
Brand new sets are the archilles heel IMO
I agree, on brand new sets its rough, but anything older than 1 year old its 90% or better. Ive run 10000 listing through it in 3 months with tons of success!
@@JMacSportsCards I'm getting organized so I can hit ebay hard in 2024 (for me), so I'll see what I will see. My first batches of football cards, older cards from the 90s were well below 50%. I need to do more and see if it was a fluke.
Meh. Not worth the subscription. It doesn't add enough value or save enough time. Tried the old version, and this version doesn't really look like an improvement. Also, I canceled my subscription and it canceled immediately, without allowing me access for the remainder of the month I had already paid for. Lame.
Thanks for the feedback.
Took me a day to get used to the new version. It is soooo much faster and better at recognizing the cards. I love it.
Can you list with multiple variations through this tool?
well variations in the sense of multiple listings, not a single listing with multiple variations.
@JMacSportsCards Thank you. I haven't seen a solution for this other than manually adding variation listing. Would be a real game changer if someone had a more automated program.
Do they do non sports cards too? Or is it limited to sports only?
Sports only I believe, though the do have plans to open up TCG at some point
@@JMacSportsCards I hope they do because i feel price wise CDP is a cheaper option over Krono card, but krono card does non sports which is mainly what I deal in.
You prefer to use the app over the website?
I’ve always just used the site. So don’t have an opinion on the app
Site is best
They need to bring in TCG and CCG cards
Not sure the sport cards market is going anywhere
The hobby is not going anywhere, it never was really a market it’s a hobby
Code didn't work :(
oh wow, thanks for the heads up
@@JMacSportsCards no worries. Signed up anyway. Been watching your vids for a while and you inspired me to get a scanner and take my small eBay store to the next level. Happy new year.
@@laruffa216 appreciate that all the best on listing and selling!
Krono works better
Thanks for watching.
