Hey Jmac ~ curious how you handle selling $1-3 cards on eBay AND at shows (I set up at shows).
How do you manage if someone buys multiple cards (think stacks of 10,20,50 cards at a show and then pull those off eBay?

    1. I don’t have a ton of cards that are interesting enough to sell. Where can I find cards when I can’t go to card show.

    3. Is there a estimate on how many cards I need to post to start getting traction.
    Thanks so much

Another big aspect of being a lower end seller is that it’s much easier to sell multiple cards and turn over your stock a lot faster.
When I buy, I like to pair a few cards from one seller, which is much easier if it’s priced lower

  • @jerryhitchcock6937

You mentioned "high fees" as a deterrent to utilizing COMC ... Arguably relative, but if you're smart about it, it can still be profitable and take much less of your time than eBay. I've been on COMC now for over 2 years, have sold over $8K of cards on the platform - as long as you do mass submissions on "fresh pulls", you processing and postal fees are reduced significantly. You do have to do a good deal of research to determine which cards have the best chance of selling on the platform, but in general any product that has just come out will easily sell (mainly since there is little competition and you can sell at more of a premium). To me time is $, so now that I have my system down, I can make a very nice profit on cards that average @ $2 sold -

I’m a clothing seller on eBay. Did just under 250k in sales last year. I pretty much only buy clothes that have close to a 100% STR in 90 days. I was thinking about getting into flipping cards as a little side hustle of a side hustle. In the sports cards world does STR matter as much? When I was doing some research on cards that sell between $10-$20 it looks like majority of cards have a STR of %30 or less. Is this pretty typical in the sports card world and the only way to drive sales is my volume?

What's up JMac love the video. Here something you might want to do a video on. When should you give a Discount on your items? Or should you send your customers a 10/15% off on there next purchase? I'm new to eBay and you video have helped me out a lot I appreciate you brother. Thx

Most of my ebay store is .99 - $5 cards and almost everything I list sells, some stuff sells a lot more that what I think it’s actually worth it surprises me. I do .99 auction on every item, sells for more than when I list it for a set price in my experience

I just came across this video and i love it......... one main question i have though is when you refer to low end cards, is that like Base cards? Thinking about going back to doing Pick & Choose listings with a bulk discount on it but not sure for all my base cards when i open product

Hello Sir. I watched your video. I love doing Ebay selling cards. i have around 1100 listings. Really selling many low selling cards sit there for months or even years. I assume you have thousands listed so obviously the more you have listed the more likely to sell a card. I guess if you love what you do it isn't work. With the 13.25% Ebay fee and .34 cent insertion fee which we all cover in our shipping price (I'm from Canada) selling a dollar card is good but at the same time the packaging, sending it out. To make it worth it you have to sell 50 a day. You got to admit alot of low end cards just sit there. I would love to know your thoughts sir! Thank you! :)

Subscribed! Great stuff JMac! Would love to see how you scan, price and list but I may need to just watch more of your older videos. I list cards for 99 cent auctions and charge $1 shipping. Would love to figure out how to get more traffic/volume. THANK YOU!

Great video. I try to sell low end sports cards, how exactly, do you find the dollar amount of a card. I purchased a $3K set of Football cards and can't find the card prices. When I listed the cards I was chastised by the seller for "giving " them away. Example- Topps NFL Geno Smith Mike Glennon 2013 5 star auto card # fsfda-sg. I have watched several of your videos and have learned alot. THANKS!!
