    Belly pump only runs when clutch is out

    Nice explanation on the Farmall hydraulics. The Farmalls used the belly pump Lift All up to the Stage 1 Super H and Ms, and they were not live since they are transmission driven. The standards always used live hydraulics. The W-4, W-6, and W-9 series tractors use an aluminum pump like you showed on the Super H, a cylindrical tank with a relief valve on it, and a valve like the one M had for remotes. IH called them "Remote Control" hydraulic systems. The attachment for remotes and dual acting systems for the Farmalls, were also called Remote Control. They came out later than the Lift All systems that even some of the F-20s had. The earliest standard tractor I've seen with hydraulics was a 1947 WD-9. In the 1950s, the Remote Control became popular more so with the large standard tractors like the W-9 and WD-9, but some W-6s and WD-6s had it as well. It's very rare on a W-4.

      The belly pump could be ordered on a stage 2 tractor instead of the the live pump most Louisville super m’s are set up like this using a battery box seat and the belly pump

    Nice explanation on the different hydraulic systems IH offed (and the ones they didn’t) I am restoring a 49 M and im trying to find all the rare ih factory options for it. One especially rare option that I have found is the Selective Valve. Basically takes the place of the hydraulic control rod holer and it looks like a gear shift with three sets of slots. It gives you two one way hydraulic remotes, excellent for running cultivators. To the left powers one hose, to the right powers the other, and in the middle does both! Also the contoll lever has a rod that also controls the belly pump telling it to build or dump pressure.

      Those are definitely hard to find I’m looking for a hillside hitch but I’m in flat land and nobody used them here
      I really want to do a another video that’s even a better explanation

    Have a 51 M And 43 H The 43 manual calls that a lift all . The M and W equipment is an add-on .

    Hey the new ignition coils have the resistor built into them I see it looks like a new one and you still have the old ceramic resistor on top of it if you take that off you will get a much better spark

    • @DrRust
      @DrRust  Рік тому +1

      That’s incorrect partly because it depends on what coil you buy if they are internally resisted or not
      If running 6v do not use a resistance coil, plugs or wires

    Where did you buy that 3 point hitch that you have on your tractor?

    • @DrRust
      @DrRust  9 місяців тому

      It’s actually a fast hitch from a 560 with 2 adapter plates that bolt to the axle tubes on a M
      I showed it in this video

    What’s going on with that in-line filter? Looks like you’re running it on soy sauce! Lol

      A special blend of used motor oil, hydraulic fluid and gas it burns slower and saves me money on fuel
