Yeah but Missandei understands that change takes time. She understands that her queen can't go around killing everyone she was displeased with. Dany didn't arrange this meeting to have bloodshed. She wanted to size up her enemies and see what they were made of. If she had made the rash decision to execute this guy she wouldn't know the consequences it might have. That's why she had to exercise restraint and patience.
I love this scene so much. Daario isn't even working for Daenerys yet, but he was already showing her he was the only one of the Second Sons here with a brain with how observant he is. And he had this way of challenging her without opposing her that I loved in their dynamic.

The game begun as soon as they stepped onto the tend, i wonder if the bully had everything written and memorized before entering there, probably yes. He was incredibly creative in his disrespect, even i got annoyed, a mix of annoyance and deference. But that was simply a childish insult competition to see who would get under the other skin, or it would have been if Dany didn't have maintained her composure all the time, she spoke like a true negotiator, Tyrion would be proud. But i think threatning him was a mistake, the best players, like book Varys and Petyr never threat. It was remarkable how she maintained her cool and focused on negotiating, that's the hardest thing to do. Usually (and i suffer a lot from this) the moment we are insulted our blood boil and we stop reasoning, saying a bunch of wrong things and making bad decisions. Therefore insults are a weapon. But insults can also give you lots of enemies and get you killed; for what is truly no real reason at all, none that It's worth dying for. And you could see quickly see how in spite his bravado and acting all self important the real smart player was Daario. He was the only capable of putting Dany into a corner and winning.

Ed Skrein nailed the cockiness and swagger of book Daario. Huisman had confidence but couldn't match the charisma of Skrein.

I do prefer this Daario. He looks so cocky like nothing would ever get the better of him. He looks like he could get shit done. The newer one was fine but other than the scene where he kills the champion of mereen I felt he never looked as cool again.
Agreed. The constant switching of cast made it tough the first time I watched GoT. Same with the mountain. When you switch cast up, they’ll never be as connected to the audience. That’s why the mountain would straight up suck if not for that skull crushing scene.
This Daario definitely had much more presence and behaved like George RR Martin's Daario in the books.
