It's actually used quite a bit during Dany's story. At least I'm pretty sure they speak Vlayrian at Mereen, though I could be mistaken. Regardless, the reveal that she could understand it perfectly during the S3 episode where she takes the Unsullied was great. It's unfortunate that they stopped using it once there was no one else who spoke it. Could have maybe had scenes where Misande (forgot the spelling) and Dany speak it to each other for privacy like Rhaenyra and Daemon do. Oh well.
@@jdamian0247 Vlayrian is very common in Essos because of the Vlayrian Empire that made up most of Essos at its height of power. Once it fell apart the regional Vlayrian popped up in different places

I particularly like the scenes featuring the dragons and their dialogues in Valyrian. I would be delighted to see a prequel set in the time of the Valyrian Empire and the conquest of Aegon I the Conqueror. That would have been a great starting point for the series.

they fucked up the size in season 1, season 1 syrax was to be the size for season 2. From recent tellings of budget issues im thinking they did that so they didnt have to make to versions of the same dragon as rendering that would eat up a lot of time and money
What happened to all those swords there were so many more in house of the dragon than game of thrones and it came first so what happened to all the missing swords. 🗡️
Does Low Valyrian even exists? Also the mistakes of these actors is they say every syllable of this made-up language, so it sounds recited instead of natural speech. Like "I, am, going, to, ..." with micro-pauses instead of "I'm gonna..." which sounds more natural. Also when they speak High Valyrian, suddenly they stopped having emotions, unlike if they speak English. They should practise this until it becomes a natural language. Emilia Clarke sounded stiff at first, but later she improved putting emotion into the language.
have you practiced High Valyrian before? It can sound direct at times depending on the accent or even low Valyrian. You dont have to have emotion every time you speak, then it doesnt sound real or it sounds like your trying to sound fake.

Emma has, without a doubt, the best grip on Valyrian of any of the GOT/HOTD cast; its easy to forget they're speaking a made up language.

“Low Valyrian” is what they speak in the former colonies of Valyria. Astapor, Mereen, Braavos, Etc
