“Alot of you owe him an apology”… including you
this man really said he rather have DLo over Kyrie
Crazy how ppl forget we can go back and watch things
🎯
@@MentLeeedo you remember what video that wZ
He said Kyrie ain’t do shit since “the shot”.
Crazy part is Celtic fans swear Kyrie was the problem but Tatum said on JJ Redick pod cast him & Jalen brown were in competition to be the second option which affected Team chemistry
Also people forget scary terry ego.
Well, there were other things. Kyrie did not play well inside Stevens system. You could look and see when Kyrie was injured, that team ran that Princeton system. When Kyrie played, it changed the offense. Kyrie can fit his game into any system, but he cannot run a system with his game...
As well as Hayward saying that he was trying to prove that he was the same guy after his injury and Rozier tryna prove he was more than a bench guy.
It doesn’t fit the narrative
now they fighting to see whos first option lol
You owe him one too we ain’t forgot
Low you hated how Kyrie and KD had the nets bent over… you also said Kyrie wasn’t that type of player to bent over the organization… Don’t act like you was on Kyrie side during his Brooklyn time
Nah his time in Brooklyn was crazy, even when he first got the mavericks they had growing pains at first.
Bruh. KI is killing it. SAS please retire and never get on TV again. Unless you want to host the view
he said that tho
Fr, he was saying they had the nets “on their knees” idk how many times back then, but now he’s saying it was the opposite. He switching up
@@Leodoesthings23He never said that Kyrie should retire though. There were poor decisions made on that Brooklyn team that stemmed from both KD and Ky. Congrats to Kyrie. If he beats Boston with the Mavs it will be such a great turnaround storyline for him, but you can’t just ignore the ups and downs he had on previous teams just because hes found success in Dallas.
This whole video is insanely hypocritical. You’ve been slandering Kyrie for years and were hyping up Joe tsai when he was telling Kyrie and KD to “get on their knees”, yet here you are acting like you did none of that and are criticizing other people for things you said.
Exactly lmfao we remember LOW stop trying to lie to the people lmfaooo
The crazy thing is that those previous takes... Are still correct. No rational person looks at what Kyrie did during that stretch and thinks it was even approaching appropriate. The dude was on some racist conspiracy shit. Why are we glossing over that so we can punch at the media?
Like, no, Kyrie shouldn't retire. But what he did during the vaccine shit was dangerous and irresponsible. None of that goes away just because he made the finals this year.
Talk about being a prisoner to the moment.
This what they do lmaoo switch up like we don’t remember lmaoo even on PC they was nasty
@@engar-dug5197 yea but most people don't like to actually look at the nuance
@@jariuswilliams1296 Like when he lied to his fiancée four times.
the dude had the audacity to lambast and trash him ON NATIONAL TELEVISION, but he can only post his "apology" on his youtube channel? 😂
You mean the UA-cam channel that has worldwide reach?
Dude apologized when it was convenient. All for views because Kyrie is in the finals. Stephen A is the definition of a POS and a coward.
@@fdub301 if you think his personal yt channel has the same reach as First Take, a national TV show watched by millions, then you’re being dishonest lol
@@kiddtiko we're not even considering the fact that that he's trashed irving on MULTIPLE episodes on live television
@@kiddtiko fair, but First Take is not watched by millions. They average less than 500k viewers a day which is easily eclipsed by many UA-cam channels, including Stephen A’s. STEPHEN A’s CHANNEL HAS MORE SUBSCRIBERS THAN FIRST TAKE HAS AVERAGE DAILY VIEWERS IN THEIR BEST YEAR EVER. If you think that national tv has a greater reach potential than the worldwide web, then you’re being dishonest.
“You were going ridiculously hard (no Diddy)”
That pause was needed 😭
the closeup was insane
Bro u literally owe Kyrie an apology as well lmao
we all do, this is literally the Jimmy Butler situation but far worse all over again, Kyrie got crucified mainly off the influence of Stephen A
@@crazcraynot me. I always knew he was talented asl, and not a sheep
@@crazcray not me i always supported bro
Didn't you say you'd rather have DLO over Kyrie????
Didn’t you praise Joe Tsai for not trading KD when he requested to be traded because you didn’t like Tsai bending over backwards for Kd and Kyrie (which was why Steve Nash got hired and DeAndre Jordan got a 4 year contract)?
You missed the whole point of that video
Exactly, everything he’s criticizing people for saying about Kyrie in this video is exactly what he was saying about Kyrie for the past few years. This is so gross that he’s acting all high and mighty calling out other people in hindsight when he was also making those same takes. He was slandering KD and saying it was his fault for the Brooklyn failure and that Steve Nash was being used as a scapegoat, he said everyone overrated Kyrie because of skills/bag talk, he praised Joe tsai for telling KD and Kyrie to “get on their knees”.
Now here he is acting like he didn’t say any of that and is now criticizing people who had those takes when he also had them 😂
He also always wants to blame coaches like ham. Lakers fans like him are so self absorbed that they don’t realize every fanbase in the nba besides okc, Minnesota, and denver complain about their coaches just as much as lakers fans do. But they act like every other coach in the league is elite in an effort to blame the coach instead of the players (doesn’t want backlash from lebron fanbase).
@@__j20no
@@__j20you’re allowed to be wrong and have bad takes
@@texasboi4467It’s one thing to be wrong or have bad takes. The problem is when you try to come at other people and act high and mighty when you were making the same kind of takes as them.
Whoever hates on Kyrie doesn’t know ball and the fact that he is on the finals is enough statement of him going forward and still having team presence
Forreal people are damn hater fr
Low was one of them 😂
You would only think that a player is above criticism if you actually don't know ball
His Cleveland exit garnered justifiable hate. He came off as ungrateful and jealous of his teammate.
He's matured a lot and was absolutely undeserving of the Brooklyn scandal. Hopefully, he gets that ring this year.
@@fdub301 nah, one thing is criticism, they have been going on kyrie since the Jews situation
LOW trying to re write history about Brooklyn and Kd and Kyrie. Can’t count how many times he said that Kyrie and Kd had the FRONT OFFICE on their knees to appease them back when they were on the nets, but now he’s saying it was the other way around.
The fact that Brooklyn even entertained it in the first place and them not doing there jobs yes we're gonna blame the front office first before the player
One of LOW's more popular videos is literally him using a sex metaphor to describe the relationship between KD and Kyrie and the Nets FO.
I agree they were hating on kyrie, but the context of what he was doing is very important. And you blatantly cut off Stephen A’s clip where he was actually saying kyrie should retire to focus on the social injustice movement of the time. Which Ky was very opinionated on back then
It was not the only thing he said about kyrie he used to say stupid stuff about kyrie on tv it was unfair I guess some people inclued me are petty but it's justified🤷🏾♂️
The context that a huge fan base of Kyrie's agreed with him. That was against what the media and those/you other people were pushing.
Why is it either or. Why can't he do both. If it wasn't for basketball he wouldn't have the kind of platform he has to say what he wants to say. That argument is made by people who don't listen to those people speak on issues they don't lie and go in a corner somewhere.
@@abdul-rahmanlawal2183 The argument for why both isn't a possiblity is because the job he gets paid millions per for suffers from what the does outside of basketball.
It's kinda hard to disagree with that argument.
Crazy how Kyrie is averaging his highest averages of the playoffs this far along!
Hey Stephen A....STFU!
As a celtics fan, I didnt blame him when he left.
He said “if you would allow me back i plan to resign”
Them mfs were saying they didnt want him back. And then bitched more when he left. SAS and media was calling him locker room cancer and it partly brainwashed the fans.
fr
I can't wait to see this vid. Because even though we all know how crazy Stephen A was. But Low you also said Kyrie wasn't all that either. Said he was top 20-25 at best for the last few seasons if I recollect correctly.
I'm open to being wrong of course but Low you got on the same end of unnecessary slander as well and you can't deny it. Still mess with you like always but we gotta talk about it.
Yh Low was leaning on the side of "overrated" and "not worth it", idk y he's acting like he was fw kyrie all this time
Because thats the level he was performing at during the time. He finally gets his act together and ya’ll acting like he wasn’t on some bs for a few years.
top 20 is a far cry from claiming he should retire.
@@TheGreatestJediOfAllTime even from a stats perspective he was at a high in his career. He dropped 50 in his debut and would continue to have great showings. His play never was a problem bruv. He’s been 50 40 90 for too many years without fail for people to be questioning his skill set. Got people talkin about Kyrie was in his prime on the Cavs when statistically that isn’t even the case
LOW you was roasting Kyrie too i didnt forget
I wasn't the biggest fan is underselling it like crazy Low, niggas remember, pepperidge farms remember
It’s hilarious how multiple comments are calling you out for talking down on people and pointing the finger at people over criticizing Kyrie when you were standing side by side with them. And no “I wasn’t the biggest believer” isn’t an accurate representation of that.
Also, other people making mistakes does not absolve Kyrie from his
And if you aren’t anti-Semitic, don’t associate yourself with things that are. “Use your brain”
Multiple things can be true. If kyrie was causing drama still then that’s still a question but he hasn’t since joining Dallas? Him getting to the finals doesn’t change all the things in the past. I feel like kyrie has just grown up more and is happy with his situation. Still doesn’t excuse the forced Cleveland trade etc.
Cleveland wanted to trade him for PG and he found out after the Pacers stated they were not interested. Plus Cleveland’s front office was lucky. Bron chose to go back to get a ring they did lure him back. He went back for Ohio not the cavs.
I bet you were one of the ppl always saying Kyrie cant stay on the court. Yal all care about that link so much but ignore all the other racist shtt the league has going on lol
@@malcolmbrown173people like this will always try to find ways to blame Kyrie over drama we don’t even know the full details of . They always say he’s more mature and had growth but if you really watched kyrie since the beginning he been like this that’s why I believe the organizations were the ones in the wrong and you can see him doing amazing now not cuz he changed now he been this
@@molo354he hasn’t always been like this tho? He even admitted and gave lebron a call apologizing. Already one sign of him growing as an individual. Obviously I’m not saying he’s 100% to blame but he has some part of it. You don’t just do that to 3 separate teams and it’s just a coincidence lol. Aww yes of course when your team is there won’t be any problems. There wasn’t any problems on the nets when they were winning same for the Celtics and cavs lmao
Pff Kyrie did right to leave Cleveland, just look at LeBron. He is just a completly different person
I see low has learned from his girl on how to become a hypocrite
How his girl a hypocrite? What I miss? 🤔
NGL Stephen A having beef with Kyrie's dad sounds like a good beef. 🍿
Low you have had these same takes as these “main stream media” and your cop out is always “not the biggest believer” 💀
Kyrie Irving has baggage. I'm not gonna pretend like he doesn't have weird mental breakdowns where he starts talking in cryptic soliloquy on Twitter.
So there is a potential for that weird toxic aspect to him so let's not take it out of context. But I've always respected Kyrie's game and what he can do on the court. One of the best point guards in history by my estimation. Top 10 or Top 5* at least especially if he wins the finals this year.
I will say though it's nice seeing him in Dallas it's like he's finally at peace but the dood can be crazier than an ex-girlfriend if he wants to be.
Crazy how ? I'm sure you don't even know what a woman is but you calling kyrie Crazy....smfh
@@trinigoose9775 Well since you introduced yourself - Let's put the amount of Women I know to one bitchmade. I said he's got baggage, I gave proper respect, I didn't lie 👏👏 run along now before I start thinking you got a crush on me baby girl. 😘
@@NotTheWheelthere’s no way you think you’re hard typing like that, my god I’d be embarrassed
@@dominiquegbarwea9171 lol I'm not - I thought it was pretty good. To each their own.
Kyrie top 3 what?
I mean Kyrie and KD literally got their way ten times over since the start in Brooklyn lol acting like they hold no culpability at all is crazy. And I mean Kyrie was literally saying multiple times the money doesn't matter to him when he was missing games and he wanted to be a rebel without a cause. Why are we acting like all of a sudden that's a crazy notion to think about now? Shoutout to Kyrie for making it past all that and playing great ball but this is what people wanted him to do from the jump. And I'm not saying you can't fight or have a cause for what you believe in but Kyrie himself couldn't straight up tell you what he believed in...
Alot of people owe apology??? Agreed but I very specifically remember you being one of them.. and rightfully so. I don't think you can acknowledge this kai redemption without admitting many of the gripes of the pre dallas run were seemingly warranted. But I'm just throwing it out there, after the 2022 playoffs you were as adamant about those things as anyone.
the focal zoom in on the ridiculously hard was crazy😭😭
glad this video is coming out. straight disrespect and slander for kyrie that tricked everyone into thinking he was some cancer in NBA. SAS every week was on that man's head for opting out of a shot and everyone blindly followed 🤦🏾♂️
Facts 💯
As a nets fan, we’ve been hating on Joe tsai
The apology must be as loud and as public as the disrespect- cm punk.
These words couldnt be more true
I think Kyrie just didn't have basketball as a priority at that time. He and KD didn't respect the front office in Brooklyn and now Brooklyn is once again a lottery team with no picks. No one ever said Kyrie wasn't a great player. Right now, Kyrie is focused on basketball. Is that not what everyone was asking of him?
Nah…they were lying on the man and trying to destroy him. The owner was the one who attacked Kyrie about the IG quote and brought it to the media before anyone felt it was problematic. Which it wasn’t. Joe Tsai hated Kyrie and y’all don’t want to acknowledge the sabotage.
100% he is owed an apology. These people shoot their mouths off with no risk of repercussion. They didn't like him standing up during covid. Kyrie from what I can see has great judgement and stood on his principles. Good for him
why is smith still on TV? Does he have some shit like diddy
We did not forget nets kyrie was basically canceled over a tweet and now the redemption arc for this hero’s journey back to finals and everyone having to sing his praises again is such a good NBA storyline lol 😂
My nigga… didn’t you go after Kyrie too? You getting ESPN level with the hot takes too my guy
Dude boston did not force isiah thomas to play. They were not honest with him and how they were going to treat him. Were they dishonest about offering him a 9 figure payday when his contract was up, and that is what drove him to play hurt yes they did that. The celtics are not a perfect orginization but they are not the only ones to do something like that. The warriors pushed andre igudola to play on a leg that could broken during the finals. Did the spurs lie and misdiagnose kahwis leg issues yes. Every team does this at one point or another
im dying at the mouse pausing the clip on youtube of Stephen A lmaoo
US KYRIE FANS NEED AN APOLOGY FROM YOU TOO LOW!!!
Brooklyn owner was contributing money to concentration camps in China but mad at Kyrie for tweeting a link
Good shit LOW
I’m so happy to see Kyrie get his redemption as an NBA player and as a man.
Kyrie should have never promoted that documentary but I’m willing to go to my grave that he promoted that information out of ignorance and not hatred. That’s just no who he is.
But when he left Cleveland he was in the same situation Jalen Brunson was in when he left Luka a couple years ago. He was a rising star and wanted to see if he could be a number 1. Then he got the opportunity to be a number 1 and learned it wasn’t for him. And let’s be real, Boston fans are fucking out there and I can understand why he didn’t feel completely welcomed by that fan base.
But once he got to Brooklyn, KYRIE IS NOT THE REASON THAT TEAM FAILED. They should have NEVER traded for James Harden and then James Harden was the first player to ask out after Brooklyn mortgaged their future to get him and by that point that situation was a sinking ship that everybody wanted out of. I hold Kyrie partially responsible for the failure of that team along with KD and Harden, but at the end of the day THEY ARE PLAYERS. If the front office of Brooklyn couldn’t keep themselves from destroying their own franchise because the players wanted something, then they failed at their job and the roster is their responsibility.
Kyrie has made mistakes in his career but ultimately he wanted to be loved and accepted for who he is and to be able to play his game and that’s what he’s got in Dallas. I’m just glad we get to see Kyrie play at this level again because he’s one of the most enjoyable players to watch in NBA history.
Us Nets fan criticized Joe Tsai. Kyrie also helped force Harden out though
he wanted kyrie to retire based off one citys stupid rule that only affected the home team players ...what an idiot
Brooklyn nets deserve all the slander and bad juju
@@manz7860 facts
That actual pause after the “Stephen A. Smith was going hard”🤣
5:47 this part 100 percent correct my brother 👌🏾✊🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
It’s crazy how SA said that shir bc “Kylie don’t want to play basketball bad enough” when jokic is basically saying the same thing he care more about his off time than basketball
My problem is with Kyrie FAN base gas lighting
Nets did everything kd and ky asked and he still quit on them he quiet quit on Boston too because Tatum became the leader
Exactly this! Why are people acting like all that stuff didn't happen?
@@jariuswilliams1296 facts I’ll never understand
I have tons of respect for Kyrie. I didn't believe him in Dallas would work because him and Luka are ball dominant players. They proved me wrong and made it work. 💪🏿💪🏿🔥
7:55 yes , but as a person who views the show during the playoffs (mainly) but they do talk and get on the coaches (especially during the playoffs) but more times than not plays be having IQ blunders and they has nothing to do with the coaches in today's NBA as there are only a few that stay with the same team more than 3 years (that's hard) and it's the same coaches getting rehired so they are doing everything brand new mostly every 3 years that hard even though you're the coach your always the new kid or can't hire the people you want or if you do they may get fired or replaced within the year you hire them. So, it's very hard for a coach, that's why during the regular season they don't get much flack, but I can say the MEDIA (SAS) do get on the coaches especially in the playoffs.
Thank You Brudda! ✊🏿
Same dude who said he rather have Dlo over Kyrie we forgive but never forget.
I still think it was fair to be critical of ky for not taking covid seriously as well as the anti semetic wave he rode for a bit but he seems to have genuinely grown past his crazy era and is solely focused on being a good teammate and father now. I don't think you need to apologize for being critical of Kyrie's off the floor antics a few years ago, but on the floor he clearly has excelled at being the clear second option again which he hasn't had since Cleveland, and this Mavs run is a reminder of that
It feels good to have been one of the Kai defenders and now to see what hes doing and people eating their words 🖤#A11Even
Well said young man nothing but facts 💯 good content
" go along get along gang " Kwame Brown voice
It's really sad that SAS is having beefs with the fathers of the NBA players.
Just KNEW this video was coming from LOW🙌
I grew up a football player, and football was my favorite sport. Watching Kyrie Irving play, made basketball become my favorite sport. First NBA game I ever went to was a Kyrie Irving game. I hated how the media and the nets organization tried to destroy that man
The title and thumbnail got me ngl
It was fair to criticize him for not playing bc of refusing to take the vaccine, if I’m a teammate of his at that time I would view that as giving up on the team and not caring about their success
He chose his belief of what taking the vaccine would mean to his health, I get the criticism but there's nothing you can do about a decision someone fully commits to, regardless of your views on it
@@morenamatsoso4255 sure but it would be understandable if the Nets didn’t want to fully pay him or if teammates didn’t want to play for the team anymore, for example James Harden got heavily criticized for requesting a trade when it was perfectly understandable for him to leave, the main reason being one of the stars chose his belief (a ridiculous one if we’re being honest) instead of playing basketball
The thing is They don’t believe that they did anything wrong. They said some horrible things about Kyrie and they know it. And now trying to flip it on Kyrie. IT WAS CRAZY!!!!
Low you owe Kyrie an apology as well. You shouldn’t be shaming anyone.
“A lot of you all” YOO WHAT!!? I heard yo ass on players choice last year the first home game IN DALLAS kyrie scored 26 pts in the 4th Quarter and you was HATING!! Saying it doesn’t mean anything!! Don’t switch up now LOW
Kyrie was trippin at the time now he hooping he’s box office as Steph A also said
Kyrie was tripping? Moses of America can't tell what a woman is...but Kyrie crazy smfh
I remember Joe tsai made kyrie do a whole check list of charity work as punishment for his own beliefs like a slave. Insane
Funny thing is you can't say you don't need to be coached, but the expectation is that players should play without coaching....
If my memory Is correct I'm pretty sure I stopped watching first take and stephen A cuz of the constant bs with kyrie
He still callin him "Kyrie Irvin" 😂
Well said. 👏🏼👏🏼
NBA owes an apology to kyriee
Yo smith A is crazy 😂😂😂
SAS, Shannon, Shaq and Barkley owe this brother an apology!
Still waiting for this guy to call jokic a fraud for losing a playoff series
Some ppl will never forgive him for not wanting the jab. Ever since then, many establishment people have wanted him to fail.
I think some of it is when he didn’t want to get the shot, people acted like he was questioning their intelligence for getting it.
Irving seems to be working out really well for the Mavs in the playoffs. Just ask Minnesota!
I hope they don't apologise cause it gives the implication that he wasn't right in his hesitation to not get the vaccine at the time, that it is only vindicated when he reaches success professional.
I watch both football (soccer) and NBA and ESPN does the same thing analysing both. It's never about the sport!
That's what irritated me the most. Just because Kyrie posted something, that doesn't mean he agreed with every single thing in the documentary. And anyone who is arguing that needs to then go back and audit every single thing they have ever posted or liked and consider the same thing. It's silly as fuck.
That’s exactly what everyone should do because what they post is what people can assume they endorse. Kyrie is media trained multimillionaire. He should be better at doing an audit of his own posts than anybody and it’s a skill everyone should have.
Ngl I was right there with Stephen A. Kyrie was looking like he didn’t give a damn about basketball. But nobody knew the reality
i used to pray for times like this , kyrie irving fans have been in a dark age
HE DOESNT NEED TO BE COACHED HE IS LITERALLY UNCLE DREW
As a nets fan, we hate Joe Tsai for what he has done
I still think Kyrie is a problem for a teams chemistry. It's been an issue on multiple teams. Its not like it was just one team or one instance and then everyone jumps to conclusions. It was basically 3 teams. He didn't want to be number 2 in Cleveland and it made it known. There was clearly issues with Boston where multiple teammates kinda called him out. The nets was maybe not just him, but his choices kept him out of a large amount of their games and they couldn't seem to win which clearly rubbed his teammates the wrong way which that wasn't really a secret.
It's working now in Dallas but even that first year it did not seem to be working at all. But nothing came out suggesting that was really his fault. I think it was more him and luka trying to figure out how to play with each other. I never necessarily thought he should retire, except when he was missing all those games with the nets which made it seem like he didn't really want to play, but it definitely looked like he was unwilling to really commit to his teams. It just came off as someone that didn't really care. That is what has always bothered me about him.
I would absolutely love to see the Mavs win the Finals this year
At that moment in time, asking for a retirement wasn’t that crazy. Just my opinion.
It's your opinion because you are a fool
Low this was a bad look, u were right there with SAS
5:10 damn Lo you really be speaking
I can 100% say I’ve never hated on that man 1 time. I got one of each of his teams jerseys. He’s my favorite player becides Melo
Please stop with the revisionist history. You think it's an accident Kyrie became a boyscout after he hit free agency this off season and no one wanted him? The Mavs gave up assets for him and basically had to sign him. I'm glad Kyrie has revived his career but these statements were made for a reason. Kyrie was a menace since he left Cleveland. He is just now, this season, getting back to where he should have been for the past 8 years.
For standing up andbeing a real man he is a menace ?
@@trinigoose9775 taking a stance and being a drain on an organization are not mutually exclusive but you know that
@@JDeezy3806he didn't wanna take a vaccine
Bro nobody owes Byrie an apology & im from Jersey & love bro game & where his heart is but can we simply say he made some mistakes. You can’t miss games w/o properly communicating with your team, you can’t (unbeknownst to you) endorse a religious group whose doctrine denies the holocaust & says the Jews of today aren’t the real ppl of Israel. The vaccine issue was tricky but when the nets were rolling instead of playing to get his proper extension he literally just bounced. If lebron did any of this ppl would want his head but Ky did exactly what I knew he could & put the bs aside & just left shit on the court. I’m happy he’s doing that because at the end of the day from everything ppl that know him and don’t, say about him, he’s a really good dude.
ESPN didn't become a gossip column - it became a political channel
Dam when you gonna feel that way about KD 😂
I mean, he was the problem the last few years. People change. Hes doing better and hes proving that he can play(Obviously) but the most important thing is, he can do it without drama.

Sas is good for teams he dont like lol when ever he says no, its a yes
i stopped paying attention to stephen A when the Bulls hired Billy Donovan as their coach.
now to give context: I’m not a fan of BD but in the first take episode, instead of talking about BD’s coaching resume and achievements throughout his career. they instead shitted on the bulls organization for hiring a “white coach”
how is skin color relevant to coaching ability? idk dudes a clown
