Thank you so much Tser! 🥰 I'm really glad that you like these reviews! Oooh my climate's pretty much tropical all year round but it does rain quite a bit! 😅
Your coverage, commentary and presentation in this was very well done. I have never had any water in my Wawona 6 although it didn't rain that hard on my trips. Thanks for sharing this with us!👊
Thank you so much Tom! 👊 It really means a lot that you liked my rain test! I'm really glad that the Wawona was able to keep you dry too, I think it should do great no matter the rain (at least in my experience haha) 😊 Let me know if you get to experience heavier rain! I'd love to hear about it 😊
We bought the Wawona 6 after watching all your reviews for 6 person tents and we are SO HAPPY with it after 3 uses!! We had one trip with rain, one extremely muggy trip, and one normal/hot. Used with the rain fly and without. I am so glad we got this tent, especially during the rain trip and being able to put our chairs in the vestibule! Your comparison between them all really helped us make the right choice. Thank you for your work! I used your referral link and I’m so glad it did. You deserve it and more.
This is the best rain test of a tent I've ever watched. You covered everything in extreme depth. Great job. I'm seriously thinking of getting this tent. The only thing I don't like is the main door doesn't fully close leaving a ton of screen. This will cause some draft in the colder months.
Thank you so much Chuck! I'm really glad to know that you liked the rain test 🥰 I wouldn't recommend it for the colder months too, I've heard it can be really drafty. And yeah I do think that they should have done something about the main door for colder months. Maybe the next version will be new and improved!
North Face should definitely pay you a commission. I was at REI, with a beautiful Aurora Highrise 6p, and this tent. They didn't have the other color of this tent in stock, which i would have much preferred, and the highrise seemed a bit more spaceous in the main interior. But the Highrise didn't have a rain test that i could find on youtube. Your rain test was very powerful, and very convincing. That's why I chose the Wawona.
Hey again Matthew! Thanks so much for watching my vids and leaving comments, it really helps the channel out! 🥰 Haha I would definitely love to work with TNF one day, but I'm wayyy to small for that right now. I hope you like the Wawona! Let me know how it goes if you have the time 🥰 And maybe one day I'll do the rain test on the Aurora!
Now that is a real rain test...well done. My dog destroyed my Big Agnes 4 person recently so looking for another 4 person tent. I do have a 6 person but find almost too big for putting up between trees here in Colorado.
Thank you so much Jeff! I'm really glad that you liked this rain test 😊 I'm so sorry to hear about your Big Agnes tent. At least you made it in time for the Memorial Day sales! Oh man yeah the vestibule of this Wawona is pretty darn big, it might be too big for you then :(
Wow! What a phenomenal and thorough review! Amazing! I just came back from my first outing with my Wawona 6 over this weekend and it came through a good deal of rain without a hitch (as expected...I'd already watched other reviews of it). But your test really took it to the max! I'm very impressed with your review!!!!
Thank you so much Jeff! I'm really happy that you liked this rain test! And wow! Glad to know that the Wawona 6 kept you safe from the rain 😊 Hopefully you won't have to experience 3 consecutive days of heavy rain in this Wawona 😂
@Chomp Tell me about it!! I had to break out my trusty slippers even though I usually love sneakers better. It's not common it always rains this heavily though, so I'm glad I caught it and could share it with you 😊 Glad you liked the video! And thank you for your comments as always 😊
I just bought a Wawona 6 and an outer heavy duty waterproof camping tarp. I doubt that even one drop of rain will enter my tent unless there’s a typhoon lol Thanks for this video😊

Amazing review! I am on the east coast and shopping for a 6p or 4p tent (me and my wife and our two dogs) lol. We get alot of rain in the mountains here at times and I want to be ready for that. I am going to go through your videos and see if you have a heavy rain test in a 4p tent. Thank you for the information!!!!
@Komplichated Hi there! Thank you so much! I'm really glad that you liked this review and all the details 😊 I honestly haven't reviewed that many 4P tents at the moment, but this tent comes in a 4P version if you're interested. I don't think the 4P is that worth it though, if I'm not wrong, it doesn't come with the vestibule and you'll have to pay extra for that. Also, if you don't mind me adding, do you have previous tents in a 4p version that you shared with your wife and 2 dogs? Was that fit okay for you? I think for yourself and your wife, and if your dogs are of a bigger breed, a 6p tent will give you much more space, while a 4p could be a bit tight. I hope this helps! 😊
thank you so much! 🥰 Yeah this tent isn't cheap, but sometimes it goes on a 40% sale! I've seen that twice this year already, maybe that's a little better on your budget?
Thank you so much Steve! I'm really glad that you liked the review. I saw a few Wawonas come in through my affiliate links so thank youuuu so much for your support! 🥰 Oh btw! Let me know how you like it if you have the time 😊

Thank you so much! 🥰 It really means a lot that you like my reviews 🥰 I'm so sorry though, I won't be able to review the Wawona 8 for now :( I sadly don't make a lot from this channel, and definitely not enough to buy the same tent but in a different capacity. Sorry about that :( But most of the tests that I did on this tent will still apply! Except I think it should have more livable space inside, and an extra door.
I used the core 6 person tent with the full rainfly in light rain. No leaks what so ever so i went ahead and bought the 9 person version as well.
