Hi Liz, Kazi here. I feel guilty enjoying all this valuable information for free on your videos. It's packed with great insights and top-notch research. For sure your channel is bound to become huge soon!
Hi Kazi! Aww thank you so much for the kind words!! That really means a lot to me 🥰 And don't feel guilty, your comments and watching truly help me out a lot too! 🥰
I'm obsessed with this channel. The time, money, and effort you put into your videos really shows. I found this channel while researching tents and will keep referring to it for any camping gear I may want in the future!
Hey Joe! Thank you so much for the kind words 🥰 I'm really glad you like the channel! I don't have a lot of gear reviews up at the time, but I'm hoping to change that slowly over time as I get to play around with and review tons of other gear hehe
Hi Liz, love your videos! Could you just do a video of all the gears that you personally bring to camp? I trust that you’ve already curated and done all the due diligence of testing. Just want to know everything else that you bring/use. Thanks!!
Excellent review. I enjoyed watching the entire video. Something to note about the Claymor3 fan. - There is a gap between the housing and the blade spindle on the Claymor3 fan that exposes the internal components of the motor and some other circuits. (You noticed the exposed wire ring on the Nitecore fan) - The v1040 model has a type A port that can slow charge phones.
Thank you so much Ashton! 🥰 Oh yikes let me go check out the Claymore when I get it back from a friend I loaned it to. Thanks so much for letting me know! 🥰
Love your videos, you must be a data scientist or something.. you put brains on it! few asks: Gazelle t4 plus vs Core 12 / best canopy’s for camping / best head lamp for trekking… 😊 keep on the good work!

You're the Project Farm for Camping gear! I mostly camp in the summer so a fan is a must for me. Thanks again for another great video! Off to watch some of the individual videos.

I don't know why I didn't think about it before. Let me know if you decide to get one!
That's one amazing "battery" of tests (pun intended) you've put those fans through 😅The max airflow distance and recommended tent size are really helpful metrics, so thumbs up for that. I think the Nitecore make the most sense, even though it didn't survive the durability test. The brand's available everywhere and it's compact and light enough to fit in one of my motorbike panniers or backpack. The lantern is a great feature when cooking outside in the dark. Thanks again for these tests, cheers.
Thank you so much Wer Kar! 🥰 You're always sooo sweet to be supporting me always 🥰 HAHA nice one, I'm glad you liked the "battery" of tests ;) Oh is the Nitecore available everywhere? I had no idea, I just know that there's one right here in Singapore, and they're quite big on UA-cam too! Do you have other gear from Nitecore?
Hi Liz! It's ben a while since I've commented last (my family got our Columbia Mammoth Creek 10person based on your review last year...loved it btw). I think the only thing we need for our annual camping trip this year is a decent fan, and I'm leaning toward the Nitecore. I just wanted to check to see if your links are affiliate links, or if you benefit at all from using your specific links? You put a lot of time and effort into these and I keep watching (even when it isn't camping season lol) because its valuable content, trying to give a little back possible ;)
I really appreciate all the work you put into this test. Ive never seen anyone else do it like this. I just received two Claymore v600s for a large tent. My plan is to be able to make them more personal for the people in the tent. The Geek Aire looks pretty interesting too.
Liz! Another brilliant analysis. I'm a huge proponent of camping fans, and currently have about 6-7 different ones that I've picked up over the years. Have the 02 model, and yeah, those D batteries are no joke. Never use it. I usually run the smaller rechargeable fans I own all night (need it to sleep) while plugged into a battery bank... definitely helps to extend the runtime when we're out camping for 5-7 days at a stretch.
Thank you so much for the kind words 🥰 Oh wow 6-7 different ones? I thought I'd be the only one that had so many!! You're definitely more of an expert than me cos I only got to start using these last year! And yeahhhh I don't think I'll be using those D battery fans. Too expensive man :(
This is excellent. I ended up getting a USB ceiling fan with detachable blades for my Wawona 6 a few weeks ago. Still waiting til the next end of July to use it, but testing went well. If it doesn't go too well, I'll be back 😁
Yayyy another awesome review video from Liz. I did not know that NiteCore made fans. I have several of their flash lights and they are all premium products. I would personally choose the nitecore based on your data and my product experience! I wish it had a remote control option. I have a cheaper 20$ camping/tent fan that has a remote! Thanks for this video.
Aww thank you!! I'm really glad that you like the reviews 🥰 I really appreciate you! AND YEAH me too! I didn't realize Nitecore made fans until I was shopping one day and their nitecore fan got recommended to me by chance! I'll be on the lookout for a more premium fan with a remote for future updates!

GREAT video. Love your comparison vids. I love my Claymore. It just feels and looks very nice, and it has an available carrying case that is very premium as well. It's got enough room to throw a USB battery pack in which is handy. Given the price, I agree the Nitecore is a *much* better value, but if you like spending a bit extra on having something premium that feels very well designed then Claymore is a nice brand. We've had this fan about 18 months and it's still running and looking like new. They make a matching lantern to the fan if you feel like being silly with your money like I did (it's beautiful but definitely not worth the premium). I like their headlamps / flood lights as well.
Thank you so much for the kind words! 🥰 Oooh you bought the carry case? I didn't cos I thought it was kind of pricey haha. I'll look up Claymore's lights next time when I'm doing more research 🥰
Liz, thanks for another fine video. You did not, however, convince me to part with my 12" Smartele fan. It's very pricey ($129) compared to your options, but IMHO it's a superb fan.
I use an 8 inch cheap usb fan and power it with a power bank. It took me like 2 years to finally come upon this solution. I usually need about 3 nights of fan all night and if it goes out I can’t sleep so it’s kinda important
In that case I think the nitecore has the best battery capacity of my rechargeable ones! (Battery ones will last even longer, but they're quite expensive).

Oh wow thank you so much for letting me know 🥰 I'm surprised you think so, that makes one of us hahaha 🥹 Ah sadly I don't have Walmart where I am ;( Maybe next time!
Have you ever heard of Fanttic tents ? I never heard of them until yesterday, but they look very nice. I was wondering about their quality they claim to be waterproof but you know how that goes. Also, what do you think about air tents?
@@2017Toy Ah so sorry I haven't heard of Fanttic tents :( And also I've never used an air tent but I have wanted to get one! Are there any you recommend?
@@CampingGuidance yes there is a tent that I’ve actually watched a lot of reviews on. The name brand is Zempire the tent that I have been looking at is a Pronto I think it has a water head rating of 3000. It seems to be a very good tent and very durable. I think the price on Amazon is about 700 for a 10 person tent.
