Liz, thank you so much again for your fantastic reviews and thorough replies. You should see a Wawona 6 come through via your REI affiliate link, because I just ordered it!
@@amyhill7658 Oh wow!!! Thank you so much Amy! It really means a lot that you used my link, I'll definitely put the funds to good use and get to buying more camping products 🥰 Thank you so much!!! 🥰 It's my pleasure to help! Let me know how you find the Wawona? I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!
Best reviewer out there thank you. How can I let REI know after the purchase that you were the deciding factor on my purchase of this tent? I apologize I was so tired last night and in a rush I just used my REI app instead of using your hyperlink above since I already had it in my shopping cart. You are the best reviewer out there. Your 6 person tent comparison video is 5 stars as well. Keep up the good work and if there is any way post purchase that I can credit you with REI I will. I have been a member for over 30 years.
@Knight Paranormal Thank you so much! I’m really glad that you liked this review, it means a lot 😊 did you manage to buy it from REI? It’s currently on a great sale!
@Camping Guidance I bought mine from Amazon, I discovered your channel after my purchase. I will be going camping for 3 days within the next day. I will be using my tent for the first time.
@Knight Paranormal Ooh okay thank you so much for letting me know! 😊 I bought it off Amazon too, wish I had waited for the REI sale 😅 let me know how it goes if you have the time? I’d love to hear your experience with it 😊
Awwww you're the best! Thank you so much for all your comments as always, they mean a lot! 🥰 Maybe one day when I'm bigger, hopefully I can work together with The North Face 😃 That's the dream!
Girl your review is so detailed and thorough. Thank you so much! It’s tears to see a someone put a tent through the paces like this, especially in the rain.
Thank you so much for all your kind words Kimberly! 🥰 It really means a lot that you liked the review and all the different tests! I'm really glad it helped! 🙏
I went ahead and bought this tent due to this review. I wasn't even too interested in camping until I saw this video , now I'm taking my dog camping this weekend with a brand new NF wawona 6
Hi David! Thank you so much for supporting the channel 🥰 It really means a lot to me and it definitely helps me keep up all the gear reviews on this channel, thank you! 🥰 The vestibule would be perfect for your dog! Let me know how it goes for you if you have the time? I'd love to hear about it 😄
My wife and I stumbled upon your channel when researching tents, and thought you had great comprehensive videos and because of your reviews, we actually purchased this tent. Thank you so much for your excellent reviews.
This is easily the best review video series I have seen on UA-cam. Great job 👍. We're normally rolling through trials and climbing rocks in our side by side, but are going to do an overland trip next summer on the upper peninsula of Michigan. This tent looks like the one, and of course we'll use your links when we purchase.
Oh wow thank you so much for your lovely comment and also using my links! that truly means a lot to me 🥰 Please let me know when you do so I can thank you again! And I'd love to hear what you think about this tent too 😊
That is seriously the BEST tent-review I've ever seen. We're looking to purchase a replacement for our Eureka Bon Echo, which we've LOVED for 20 years with our family of 4, and I hope you've reviewed all of the relevant replacement-candidates, since I feel a review this thorough is ALMOST as good as being able to see the tent in person(!)... One concern we have is that the fly isn't full-sized. In my experience, the 'rain-proofness' of any treated fabric wanes with time, and I've grown accustomed to full-length flies to reliably keep us dry long-term.
Just got my Wawona 6 from the local Scheels for the upcoming Oshkosh 2023 fly-in. Wanted something with the best-in-class rain protection, and your trial here has me feeling good that I've made the right decision. Absolute best video review of this tent I've seen! Thanks for the work you did making this video. Subscribed!
Hey Geoff! I'm really glad to hear that! The Wawona is definitely AWESOME when it comes to rain protection for sure. I'm really glad that you liked the review! Thank you so much for watching, commenting and subbing! That means the world to me 😊
Thanks! one of the best reviews I have seen on YT! I had just ordered this tent from REI (big sale) before I watched it. WE have a Eureka 6p that is getting old, but we have gotten used to the huge floor area and vertical walls (one 56" Q size bed). seeing the inside of this one in yr video with the mattresses was a huge help in visualizing daily life with the tent. we would lose 13" of space on EACH side of the bed compared to the Eureka, and with the slanted walls it would feel even worse. Since we usually car camp with a pop up shelter we don't really need the vestibule so much either, although it would be nice to have... I will have to re-evaluate this purchase before I open the boxes!
Thank you so much for sharing! Really glad that I could help out with the visuals a little. Let me know how this goes if you decide to keep it! It will definitely feel a little small since you've been used to the Eureka 😅
@@CampingGuidance I returned the North Face W6, and we will just hang with the Eureka until it dies all the way. we needed a 4p tent for canoe camping, so got an MSR Habitude4, instead. haven't received it yet...
All the details you captured with the measurements were SUPER helpful - I needed to plan out the dimensions on buying a 3rd party footprint and I couldn’t find it ANYWHERE else…. Thank you thank you!!! Your video was the best one I’ve seen out of all the Wawona tent reviews!!!
Hi Simon! Thank you so much for your comment and I’m really glad that you like all the measurements! Hope you manage to find a footprint that fits this! Btw for the vestibule, i think the measurements can vary by a few inches depending on how you stake it out, but I think mine was pretty taut (and probably near the maximum). And you’re most welcome really! It was my pleasure 😊 super happy that you like the review! 🎉
Fantastic review!!! We just bought this tent based on your thorough assessment. Thank you! I was using a credit so had to call North Face to complete our order and I wasn’t able to use your affiliate link. I’ve subscribed and will keep checking out your product reviews. Really appreciate what you’re doing!
Very nice job reviewing this tent. I bought one three months ago at Christmas time for myself .extremely satisfied with it. I have been living on and off in it for the last eight weeks and I’ve hit 40 mile an hour winds, and some pretty heavy rain here in South Florida. Love the vestibule. Would not recommend it for six people but two or three Full size adults would be very comfortable in it.
Hey Noel! Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing too! I'm really glad it's been keeping you safe through those harsh conditions 🥰 And yeah 3 adults may be the max in this tent. The interior tent is a little small haha.
Thank you so much Amy! It really means a lot to me that you supported the channel 🥰 About the windows - I know right?! I just leave them permanently guyed out hahaha
Who are you you sweet stranger ❤❤❤ best reviewer ever!!!!! Im definitely subscribing thank you you literally answered all my questions! Youre amazing! Wish you the best!
Thank you so much Javi!! 🥰🥰🥰 I really appreciate all your kind words and your comment made my day! Happy to have answered all your questions, but if you have any next time, feel free to let me know!
This tent looks like it would be a perfect setup for bunk cots for small family use. The cots aren't cheap, but if you ever end up acquiring them down the road for your own camping adventures, they'd make for a good comparison with the air mattresses or sleeping pads.
Thanks so much for the comment and input Christopher! 😊 I don't have any experience with bunk cots, cos they're too expensive for me to afford right now though. I'll definitely get around to them sooner or later though! Thank you for the suggestion 😊 The walls of this tent slope inwards quite a bit though, so I'm not super sure if it'll fit more than 1 bunk cot? I could be wrong though!
I have the disc-o-beds, size large. You can fit them in there (4 beds total stacked) but there is hardly any room left. If the tent were the exact measurements that are stated on the website it would be doable.
@@chrisk9351 Thanks for sharing Chris! I've seen those beds on Amazon, too out of my budget at the moment though sadly :( But thank you so much for sharing how they fit! It's definitely a pity that the Wawona comes so much smaller than marketed.
Thank you so much for the review and everything that went into it. This tent is so close to being an awesome tent, yet it has so many misses, including window access and operation of the back door, and that rain fly not covering completely.
It was my pleasure Joey! Thank you for your kind words 🥰 That's true! Hopefully they fix all these issues in the next upgrade, then I can get to test it out again haha
This is such a thorough and well made review! I just start looking at tents yesterday, but I looked at a lot of tents and this looks like it might be the one I get. I might get the 4 person version because it's cheaper and I plan on only using it for myself and possibly one other person. However, having extra room might be nice too. I'll also check out the other video you mentioned at the end to see other similar tents. Maybe one of the others would be better, but this seems like one of the best tents I've found for the price. I plan on traveling in a van across the U.S. but I want a tent for extra space when I'm going to be in one place for a while. I plan on going to Arizona around the end of August/beginning of September and staying around that area for a while, so I need a good tent that will last a while.
Hi David! Thank you so much! It really means a lot that you like the review 😊 hmm I don’t think the 4P is as good value for money as the 6P because if I’m not wrong, the 4P doesn’t have the super huge vestibule and you’ve got to pay extra for it. If you have room for the 6P, I’d recommend getting that instead of the 4P. Let me know which one you end up going with! 😊 oooh that’s really nice! Traveling in a van has always been on my bucket list too. Let me know how it goes! 😊
Hi Croft! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave me a comment and to let me know! 🥰 It means a lot and I'm really glad that you enjoyed the review!
My husband and I bought this tent because of how thorough and detailed your reviews on it was. Thank you for helping make a big purchase for us an easy choice!! I’m sorry we couldn’t use your affiliate link 😭
Awww hey no worries about it at all! I really appreciate your comment and even just thinking about using it in the first place 🥰 Let me know you like it after getting it, I'd love to know!
Thank you so much Simone! I'm really glad that you like these tent reviews 😊 Appreciate your support for the channel by commenting and subbing too! It means a lot 😊
@CampingGuidance We got it during the REI sale last week and we are currently on our first camping trip with it! One night down and it has been perfect!
Wow! Impressive review, good quality video and well produced as always. The rain test is simply eye-opening. This is on my very short wish list for a new tent. Thanks for the video.
@Chomp Aww no thank YOU for always watching my reviews and commenting on all of them! It really means a lot to me, I really appreciate it 🥰🥰 And yes by far the most fun rain test for sure! What are your other options for a new tent, if you don't mind sharing? 😊
@@CampingGuidance I like videos that are well produced, informative and well presented in a no-nonsense fashion. Each to his own, I guess. I really appreciate the effort and time that go into producing these videos. Obviously, I enjoy your videos very much. I car camp so I don't mind bulk. I want space, even though there is only my wife and myself. LOL we are not young any more so space to accommodate cots and being able to stand upright is important. What I desire most is speedy set up and take down. Weather resistance that I can count on is also import. However, I will consider a tent that is more involved in set up IF it has some killer features. My list is really short. Beside the Wawona 6 for the vestibule and awesome performance in the heavy rain, the other ones are: Gazelle T4 Plus, which checks all my boxes Core straight wall cabin tent with full rain fly MAYBE Gazelle T-Hex I wish you all the success.
@@chomp54321 Aww it means SO much that you like my videos. I've always thought that maybe they're boring cos I don't inject too much personality in them, but it's relieving to know that some people out there like this no-nonsense approach, like you. Thank you!! 😊😊 I really love what this channel does, testing gear and stuff, but I'm a pretty boring person in real life XD I totally understand wanting space! A lot of my friends love car camping too, with palatial like tents hahaha. So far I haven't found anyone to go backpacking with in tiny tents, oh well. It's great that you already know what you want and need from a tent :) Ooh as for the combination of speedy set up + weather resistance, I've heard many good things about the Gazelle T4! I've also had another subscriber of mine share that she bought the Gazelle and loves it! When are you planning on buying a new tent for yourself? I'm planning to test + film + publish a video on the Gazelle T4 by the end of this year, so sorry I'm a little slow on the production so far.
@@CampingGuidance I need a tent by August, so perhaps I'll get it in July so that I'll have time to get used to it and deal with any manufacturing/quality issue before the trip. Please don't apologise for your production schedule. You can't possibly have reviews in time for everyone looking to buy tents. I have seen some really lavish glamping set up on YT. I have even seen tents with an opening for an air conditioner! 😂😂 It would be interesting if you eventually would share your camping trips on your channel. May be you can consider videos on camp site set up, what and how to pack for a trip, etc.
@@chomp54321 Aww that's really sweet! I appreciate it, though I do wanna try my best to speed up my production schedule eventually haha. Oh btw! I just discovered that the Wawona 6 is currently on sale at REI. 30% off. Way better than what I paid for it (which is full price LOL). I left a link in the pinned comment of this video if you wanna check it out! 😊 Oh wow!! I haven't had an aircon tent before that's such a great idea but I think it'll cost a fortune hahaha. I think that'll be a great idea for Singapore especially XD And thank you so much for your suggestions on the video ideas! I think campsite set up and packing lists are definitely great ideas for sure and I do wanna get around to doing them one day! But I think I'll be sticking to product reviews for the near future cos I've just started to get in the groove and figure out what people like. But thank you for the suggestions though! I definitely wanna do them too, they sound like so much fun for sure 😊
I haven’t tried the tent yet, but have used the Exped and it is great. One thing I am looking for to complete my sleep set up now is a really good pillow(Hest is so far at the top of my list). I hope that someday you will do a review on pillows as I really enjoy your channel! Keep up the great work. I love the amount of detail and thought that goes into your reviews!
Thank you so much for the update Scott! I'm really happy to hear that the Exped is working well for you. Mine has been with me 4 years now and it's still being awesome 🤩 I hope it lasts just as long for you. And for pillows I have heard really good things about Hest too, if you're a car camper! That might be my pick too, if I had to go for one, without testing all the others. But thank you so much for the suggestion, one day I do hope to do that! 🥰
You are such a gift. Thank you so much for the quality reviews!! Best camping tent reviewer on UA-cam and I watched a lot!! Thank you so much camping guidance!!❤s Would this tent be your ultimate pick for a vestibule tent? We are 2 people but we like extra space I currently own a Eureka Nomad4 but sadly the mosquito screen gave up and need a replacement.
Thank you so much Francois! Your comment really means a lot to me! 🥰 And yesssss for a vestibule tent this would be my ultimate pick for sure. I LOVE the vestibule (it's the main reason I bought it hahaha)
Hi Rajstein! Thank you so much for sharing about your experience! I'm really glad that you loved it! 😊 And yeah the footprint is definitely useful too!
I've been searching for a tent for my girlfriend and I, and your reviews are so helpful! I would love to see a review of the Nemo Aurora Highrise - there's very little out there in terms of video reviews on it, but it's at the top of my list right now. Best of luck in your youtube journey!
@monkeys2395 Thank you so much! It makes me happy to know that you like my reviews 😊 And thanks for the heads-up on the Nemo Aurora! I do struggle sometimes with shipping costs + taxes (as I don't live in the U.S., so Nemo products are particularly expensive for me), but I'll keep an eye on the prices and get it if I can 😊
I have a Nemo Aurora Highrise 4, and I am looking to replace it with something else. There was a lot to like about it, but the vestibule design meant that it was a huge pain to get in and out of, which after a very rainy trip just ended up being a deal breaker for me.
Excellent review / presentation. I bought this tent and several good quality tents from leading manufacturers over the 50 years of camping. I highly recommend the Wawona 6 for 3 season camping.
Thank you so much Tom! I'm really glad that you liked this review! 😊 And yay I'm glad you like the Wawona 6 as well, great minds think alike ;) hahaha! Could I ask which other family camping tents you'd recommend for 3-season camping? Maybe one day I'll eventually get to review them all 😊
@@amyhill7658 Oh! Is the Marmot Halo discontinued as well? :( I had the old version of the Limestone, but unfortunately mine came without poles and Marmot didn't have replacements at the time, so I never got to use it :( And I didn't check soon enough so I couldn't return it either haha
You’re so helpful. Thank you. I bought this tent last year. I thought a 6 person tent would be good for 2 cots and our 45# Bernedoodle. It was too crowded for us but held up well to the weather. I just ordered the Coleman weather master 10. It might be fun to take both tents and invite friends or my grandchildren.
Hi again! 🥰 Thank you so much for taking the time to leave multiple comments on my videos, it means a lot! Oh man sorry that this wasn't big enough though, and yeah it's a little bit cramped on the inside for sure :( Let me know how the WeatherMaster goes if you have the time! It won't be as good as your Wawona though sadly :(
Hello again! 👋🏻 Thanks for the update! Hmm the base area of this is slightly smaller than the Sundome that you already have, but not by much though! Oh and also just take note that you can't have the rainfly over the tent without the vestibule. It's all stuck together in one piece, so that's a limitation to take note of. I hope this helps! 😊
Hey Freddy! Thanks so much for the comment and I'm really glad that you liked the review 😊 Hmm I don't usually have the funds to buy 2 of the same product (in different capacities), so it's unlikely that I would be reviewing the Wawona 8 :( I'm so sorry about that. But I think some of the tests should be the same! Like quality, rain test, etc. 😊
I came to the same conclusions you did. You can't beat this tent for quality, especially since I got it for $225 back in November. Like you I wish the window zippers were on the inside, however it appears to in an effort to keep it more weather protected it was necessary to do it the way they did. I was also disappointed then I measured out the space, i think mine was short by 3 or 4 inches either way. That made a pretty good difference in how I was trying to set it up for us to sleep in. If you are a family of 4 or less, it's a great tent! You can't beat the storm readiness of this tent. I do wish there was a way to remove the fly but leave the vestibule area on days were no rain is expected. How did it compare to the older version? Was the older version bigger? Thanks again for the great in depth reviews!
Thanks so much Chris! I'm glad we got to the same conclusions 😊And I really appreciate your comments, they mean a lot! 😊 Oh WOW $225 is a fantastic price! I think I paid more than double what you did haha! But I still love it though (despite the higher price). Did you get it during Black Friday or something? Yeah I guess it probably was the best that they could do, but still feels extremely strange to have windows that open from the outside. Sorry to hear that your space was so much smaller too, guess I wasn't the only one :( And yes! Hopefully one day they allow us to leave the vestibule intact even without the fly. To be honest by the time my friend handed me his old Wawona (I'm to help sell it off for him), I already had the new Wawona so I never thoroughly tested the old ones. It usually takes me days to do so, so I decided to save a little bit of time by not thoroughly testing it. So sorry about that :( I don't think it felt bigger though, and I did notice that it's much faster to set up, but of course there's less versatility since it's single-walled. And I think TNF also upgraded the poles, so I'm glad about that 😊
Love your videos-they are the most thorough and well thought out reviews I have seen. Can you cover some additional tents, like the Nemo Aurora Highrise 4/6? Thanks!
Hey Abby thank you so much for your kind words! I'm really glad that you like my reviews and the details 😊 It means a lot! And thanks for the suggestion on the Nemo Aurora Highrise! Unfortunately I've already maxed out my budget for this series, so I won't be able to get that at the moment. I'm hopefully waiting for a good deal to snag the Nemo. Currently for me it costs cost to $1K, so I can't afford it (I don't live in the U.S. so I've gotta pay for shipping + taxes too). :(
Great review. We are a family of six looking to upgrade from our Marmot Halo 6. I love the tent, but it's tight with two double mattresses (MEC Reactor 10 double). We bought it when it was just 2 adults and 2 children. Now we have 4 children. I might upgrade us to this since the dimensions are suitable for the two mattresses, and our oldest can use his cot in the vestibule. Are you able to do a comprehensive review of the Wawona 8? It's going to be either the Wawona 6 or 8.
I read that people have two complaints about this tent that I hope you can address: 1. People say it smells like stinky bugs from the flame retardant; 2. Some say the front door feels drafty because it is only a meshed door. Do you have any comments? Thx. Love your videos. Super thorough!
Thank you so much! It really means a lot that you love the videos 😊 I appreciate it! As for the complaints, here goes! 1. When I bought it last year from Amazon, I actually had a choice between no flame retardant coating and with the coating, so I chose the one with no coating. So I didn't have any issues with smell. I went back to Amazon and the options seem to have changed. But I think you can still contact the retailer and ask for no coating if you want to! 😊 2. And yup it's only a mesh door with almost no way to close it up, unless you close the vestibule as well. So I wouldn't recommend this tent outside of summer and in cold temps. I personally like that it's made of so much mesh cos it's only ever super hot where I am 😂 I hope this helps!
Nice tent. I use a 6 person by myself when I'm staying in one place for a week or more so this would work well. The vestibule is very well done, better than the REI "garage". But I like the REI Kingdom 6 horizontal walls better than the Wawona dome sides. I do love the full coverage of the sides and windows by the rainfly, unlike the REI Wonderland. Wawona is definitely something I'll consider. Thanks!
Thank you so much Deborah! Really appreciate your comments 😊 And yes it's definitely a nice tent! And I'm glad they didn't charge extra for the vestibule, unlike the Wonderland's garage/mudroom hahaha. But you're right about the horizontal walls though. The Wawona will definitely feel a little tight once you're used to the Kingdom. Let me know if you decide to ever get this! I'd love to hear your thoughts 😊
Hey Amra! Thank you so much for your comment, and I'm really glad that you liked my review! 😊 And yeahhh it's weird that you can't open and close the windows from the inside right?
It's really hard to believe it was made that way. A real hassle could have been avoided. And for gosh sakes North Face, allow the front door to be fully closed in. Shouldn't be rocket science.@@CampingGuidance
Thank you so much Felipe! 🥰 Hmm I've never camped in such low temps before to be honest. And this tent is more of a summer tent, so I don't think it would be the most suitable.
GREAT Review! Thank you for the detail. Have you tested/tried/used the Wawona 8?! I'm curious if it performs exactly the same with the slightly different setup. I don't see why it wouldn't, but just curious if you've had your hands on one yet. Thanks again!!
Hi David! Thank you so much for your lovely comment! I'm really glad that you liked the review and all the details 🥰 And no I haven't tried the Wawona 8 sadly :( I don't make enough to buy multiple of the same tent in different capacities sadly 😅 But maybe next time I could reach out to TNF and see if they might be willing to send me a test set! I would think that majority of the tests I did in this video should be applicable, except for maybe a few minor changes in the setup and number of doors. They should be pretty minor though!
Thank you so much! That means a lot to me 🥰 I believe Nemo tents should be excellent in weather, but the vestibule's much smaller. Sorry I can't test it out for now, but maybe next time when I've got more cashflow 😊
Have you had a chance to test the North Face Wawona 8? We are planning on purchasing the 8 and/or a Springbar CJ 140. Great videos so informative and we appreciate your hard work! 🙏
Hi there! No so sorry I haven't had the budget to buy the same tent in a different capacity sadly :( But most of the tests should be about the same though (waterproofing, ventilation, etc.), if that helps? I'm really glad you like the videos though 🥰
I am so glad I found your review. It is very thorough and hits all of the key points. I was seriously considering this tent, however after watching your review I am afraid it is a bit cramped ....width is just too narrow. What a shame. I am looking for a quality tent that will comfortably fit two cots, one against each wall, with some room between. Any suggestions? By the way, your reviews are so awesome, I subbed.
Hey Wayne! Thank you so much for your kind words, I'm really happy that you liked the review! 🥰 Oh yeahhh that's definitely one negative with this tent, no idea why they made it so small too. If it were slightly bigger, it would be perfect. Hmm if you like this tent, this does come in an 8P version - is this something that would work for you? And thank you for the sub! That really means a lot 🥰
Great review. The only comment I have is that it looked like your tent was pitched in a pretty sheltered spot. To give an accurate wind rating I think you need to pitch it out in the open.
Hey Fred! Thank you so much for the comment and the input, I really appreciate it 😊 and yeah you’re definitely right about that. 😅 there’s not a lot of wind where I am but hopefully next time I’ll be overseas doing more accurate wind tests! 😊
Love your videos! I’m going camping in a few weeks and in the market for a 9-10 person tent. I’m currently eyeing the Ozark Trail 9 Person 2 Room Instant Cabin Tent with Screen Room vs the Coleman Skylodge™ 10-Person Instant Camping Tent With Screen Room (which has a great discount for Memorial Day sale) . I would love to see what your thoughts are on these tents and how they compare to each other.
Thank you so much Stephanie! 😊 I don't have either tent unfortunately, but I prefer Coleman to Ozark Trail. I haven't really had the best experience with Ozark Trail tents, and I think the quality of Coleman tents tend to be better. I actually did a video comparing the Ozark Trail and Coleman tents that I have: ua-cam.com/video/mJVMdToexyc/v-deo.html Does this help? Otherwise, would you let me know what you're looking for in a tent? Both tents you're looking at look rather similar! But I think Coleman's tents tend to be a little more waterproofed. Ozark has like NO waterproofing at all, at least in my experience.
Thank you so much for this wonderful review-- I was so excited to see it up when I checked again last night! It seems like a fantastic tent, but so does the REI Basecamp 6-- I am so torn! Any chance of a comparison review? I am looking to replace my Nemo Aurora Highrise 4 because I just find it incredibly awkward to get in and out of due to the design of the vestibules. I need something that I can get in and out of with minimal crouching, and where I have a covered space to take off wet boots, jackets, etc. before getting into the tent in rainy conditions. I feel like the Wawona would provide a lot of space for this, but it kind of makes the tent's overall footprint potentially too big for some campsites' tent pads. Do you think the front vestibule on the Basecamp 6 offers a large enough covered space to comfortably get out of wet gear on a rainy day before entering the tent? (I am about your height.) I am also torn about the ventilation profile of each tent. I never sleep when it's hot and stuffy, which makes me worry about the Basecamp 6, but I also camp in cooler weather and that huge front mesh-only wall on the Wawona looks like it might lead to some very cold, drafty nights. Did your testing include sleeping in the tents? I'm just wondering what the experience is really like in each tent under various conditions. Thanks again-- your videos are so detailed and helpful!
Hey Amy! Thanks so much for checking upon my channel, it means a lot! 😊 And yes! I'm working on the comparison review as we speak, but I think it'll take a minimum of 1 week to put it together. Probably more. Could be up to 2 weeks. So sorry about the wait :( But thank you for sharing about your Nemo Aurora Highrise! I don't have the tent but a few of my viewers have suggested it. And yeah I think the Wawona's vestibule definitely gets rid of the crouching problem for sure! It's so roomy and I really love the vestibule a lot. But actually I think the footprint of the Base Camp is just as big as the Wawona. The 2 vestibules of the Base Camp is actually slightly larger than the Wawona's single vestibule. (I'm working through all the calculations now for the comparison video! 😊) The Base Camp front vestibule height is about 62 inches (before it starts tapering off), so it should eliminate most of the crouching issues as well. And yes! I slept in the tents as well, but the thing is, I only ever camp in the summer, never in cooler weather. And yes, I found the Base Camp to be pretty stuffy, and since I have the Wawona, I'd pick that over the Base Camp. The Base Camp would definitely be much better for colder temps though. It's a 3+ season tent, whereas the Wawona is a 3 season tent mainly for summer. I hope this helps! 😊
@@CampingGuidance Thank you so much for the reply-- this is really, really helpful! Did you by any chance try sleeping in the Basecamp with the rainfly off? One thing I like about it is that it seems like the plus of having less mesh in the lower part of the tent is that you would actually have the privacy to sleep with the rainfly off in dry weather. I'm just wondering if the tent would still be stuffy in warmer weather even with the rainfly off, or if this is mostly an issue with the fly on?
@@amyhill7658 Hi Amy! Thanks for the reply as well! I'm really glad that you found my response helpful 😊😊 Oh man I'm so sorry though, I didn't try sleeping in the Base Camp without the rainfly. I usually camp only towards the end of the year + the beginning of the year. The weather is cooler at night, but comes with more unpredictable storms, so sleeping without the rainfly isn't a good idea for me haha. The rest of the year for me is too excruciatingly hot to camp :( So sorry about that Amy :( But yes! The less mesh actually gives you a lot more privacy. If you shut all the 4 windows, you'll have only the mesh ceiling. But I can imagine it still being a little stuffy because the non-mesh fabric will definitely limit ventilation.
Thanks so much for another super helpful reply! It sounds like the Wawona 6 is going to be the winner for me, because even though the Basecamp 6 has several features that I like, I do think I will be happier in a better ventilated tent. And also, that vestibule space is just incredible, especially for for wet weather. Thank you so much for helping me figure this out! I have been waiting for REI’s sale, so now I think it’s time to go for it. Thanks for including your affiliate link!!!
@@amyhill7658 Hey Amy! Thanks for the reply 😊 You're most welcome! I'm really glad we could figure it out together 😊 I think as long as you use the Wawona in reasonable temperatures, it should work fantastic, especially for rain! Definitely not for winter or super cold temps though. Yes!! The Wawona is currently on sale right now! I wish I had waited instead of paying full price for it last year hahaha oh well. Thank you so much for wanting to support me with the affiliate link, that means SO much! It'll really help with buying more new gear to test for the channel. It means a lot Amy! ❤ Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for all of your videos. I have one question before ordering 6P tent. I am planning on using it for F1 campsites which offer me 6x7m plots for camping. Is Wawona's length of 5m plus guy ropes more than 7m and i should look for another tent, or do you think we can make it with Wawona's dimensions?
Hey again Marko! Thanks so much for watching my videos and commenting, that really means a lot to me! 🥰 And nope! It shouldn't be more than 7 meters, so it'll fit fine :) The length of my entire tent was only about 5.1m (without guylines). And you can adjust the guylines to make sure they don't pass the 7m mark (which mine didn't).
I am strongly considering this tent; however, the Wawona 6P footprint is never in stock, so I’ll likely need to purchase a different one. Being that the footprint is not supposed to stick out from under the tent, what footprint dimensions do you recommend for the main tent? Thanks to anyone who replies!
Wonderful reviews. Ive been going through all your videos to get more info on my first camping trip. Is there a 2 person tent you recommend that's under $200? Also, have you had any experience with the Exped 15?
Thank you so much Wenson! It really means a lot that you like my reviews and you’re bringing them too! 🥰❤️ sadly I don’t have any experience with the Exped 15, but I think you can expect the quality to be just as good and it should feel even more plush because it’s thicker! But of course it’ll be warmer and pack down bigger too. That’s all I know about it 😅 and yes! I’m currently working on my Best Budget Tent series and I think I’m gonna be featuring Teton Sports, Alps Mountaineering, Quechua and Coleman. These are the main brands I really like. I really like the Teton Sports Mountain Ultra, it’s probably gonna be one of my best picks. It’s more spacious than the Alps Lynx and has better hot day ventilation which is why I like it. Really waterproof too. Sorry I’m not ready with the reviews yet though :( what else are you looking for in a 2P budget tent? If you let me know your priorities I may be able to narrow down options for you 😊
@@CampingGuidance Thanks for the reply! My top priorities for a tent are durability and long lasting construction. Having 2 doors would also be great. i don't mind if the tent is a little on the heavier side either but I would like to keep it under $200. Im currently looking at the REI co-op Trail Hut 2 and the North Face Stormbreak 2 at a local REI store near me. There seems to be hundreds of different brands out there it's hard to tell which ones will be reliable. Anyways, i look forward to your video!
Thanks for the reply too Wenson! I think most good quality 2 person tents should have 2 doors! And so sorry just wanted to clarify, my Best Budget Tent series keeps the tents under $100, so with $200 you’ll have plenty of other options like the REI and TNF! Thanks so much for the suggestions btw!!! You totally gave me such a great idea to do Budget Tents under $200 😅🙏🏻🥰 I’ve had my eye on the TNF Stormbreak for such a long time, I do want to eventually get it. In my experience TNF is a little higher quality than REI so I’d go with TNF instead if there’s not too much of a price difference 😊
Hey Kris thanks for the question! I tested 6 10-person tents, and only the Columbia Mammoth Creek and Outdoor Products tents had no-see-um mesh. The rest of the tents were regular mosquito netting. I've got a full review of that here, if that helps you: ua-cam.com/video/tOu-GZWX1LI/v-deo.html
I missed the opportunity to give you credit for my purchase of this tent last night so as a long time REI member who spends thousands of dollars with them I sent in a request to modify my order with the following message to them. I hope this helps. Sorry for mucking it up. You deserve the credit. Best reviewer out there bar none. Hello. I purchased the North Face Wawona 6 tent last night based on a you tuber's video recommendation, but I failed to use her hyperlink in the video. I am hoping I can get her the credit she is due for my purchase decision. She is the CAMPING GUIDANCE gal who reviews tents on You Tube. Please give her the credit for my purchase if there is any way possible. I will post this request as a reply in the comments section of her Wawona 6 review. Thank you.
Hey Robert!! Oh wow thank you so much for taking the time to even drop REI an email requesting that I get the credit! 😲 I really wasn't expecting that but that is SO incredibly sweet of you and I appreciate it!! 🥰 I'm not sure if REI will credit it to me, but if they do, I'll definitely let you know! Please don't worry about it at all k? You've already been incredibly sweet and it means the world to me 🥰
Your are in a tent! Not a hotel room. If you feel it cramped, go buy a 30 person festival tent. Or try a 1 person tent in a snow storm on a mountain side. Then you'll appreciate this huge Summer tent. Other than that, a nice comprehensive test and description. Kind regards.
Hey Jacques! Thanks for the feedback and I’m glad you liked the testing! 😊 and don’t worry! I don’t find it too cramped, just that I was a little surprised the dimensions were not very accurate 😅 otherwise, I think it’s plenty spacious including the vestibule! 😊 and yeah it’s a super great spacious summer tent for sure 😊
Hi Crystal! I bought the Wawona at the end of November last year! 😊 Mine's the updated Wawona with the separate fly, so I could take it off to stargaze and for more ventilation. My friend's Wawona was a single walled tent (so no separate fly). I hope this helps! 😊
Hi, besides camping in the winter, how do you think about using this tent for the rest of the three seasons? I am contemplating between this tent, and the REI Wonderland. I watched both of your reviews but still cannot decide :( Which do you suggest? I was planning to buy the Wonderland but the bent pole was meh. And the Wawona's heavy rain test was incredible! Also thank you for your videos, they're the best ones I've ever seen! You will definitely make it big! :)
Hey Ethan! Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to leave me a comment too 😊 I really appreciate it! Hmm if I'm not wrong, I think 3 season tent usually means more mesh, which means usually for use during summer. I'm not sure if both the Wawona and the Wonderland have enough fabric to keep you warm outside of summer though. 3+ season tents, if I'm not wrong, can be used during the shoulder season, but not in the winter. So, if you're planning to camp in all 3 seasons, I'd recommend the Base Camp instead. It's a little hot in the summer, but tolerable if you leave the doors open. It'll keep you warmer in the off-season than both the Wawona and Wonderland. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have more questions and I'll be happy to help 😊 And yes! The Wawona's heavy rain test was so fun hahaha. Fingers crossed to making it big one day! ;) I appreciate it, Ethan! 😊
@@CampingGuidance Thank you so much for your kind reply! Since this will be my first camping, I don't know what to buy haha. So, my plan is going on trips mainly in summer and in the late spring and early fall such as September and May. I think the lowest temperature will be around 40 degrees at night in the Spring or Fall in the forest. Will it be still cold?
@@ethanseo4140 You're most welcome Ethan! Thank you so much for replying as well, I really appreciate it 😊 Ah I see! I think in that case you could go with either the Wonderland or Wawona, since I don't think you'll be using it in extremely cold temperatures. To be honest though I don't camp outside of summer (because it's only summer where I am), so I haven't actually tested this, but I think late spring and early fall close to summer should be doable 😊 I found the Base Camp to be a bit too hot with the full rainfly in summer, so perhaps that's not as great an option for you. I hope this helps! 😊 Let me know what you think 😊
@@ethanseo4140 You're most welcome Ethan! Please don't hesitate to reach out to me here on UA-cam if you have any other questions, I'd be happy to help if I can 😊
Hi Jae! Are you referring to the queen mattresses in this video? I was using the Etekcity Upgraded Camping Mattress and the Alps Mountaineering Vertex Airbed. They're not the best, but they're OK mattresses haha
hello for starters I congratulate you for your channel. My name is Francesco and I follow you from Italy. I'm looking for a four person tent that is very rain resistant and has darkened rooms. Which one is the best for you? A thousand thanks🙏
Thank you so much Francesco! I'm really glad that you like my channel and thank you so much for following me! It means a lot 😊 Hmm. So far, the only tent that I've tested which has both darkened rooms and is very rain resistant is the Quechua 2 Seconds Tents from Decathlon. They're pop-up tents, and I reviewed them on this channel too. Sadly though the biggest size is a 3-person size. I don't think they have a 4-person size :( Would that still work for you?
@@CampingGuidance I already have a 2 second Queucha but I wanted to buy a new, more spacious and more permanent tent that has 2 distinct areas, one for the day where I can relax and eat and the other for the night area. I could do without the darkened rooms but the new tent must be a 4 season and rain resistant. Sincerely watching your channel I was very disappointed with the Coleman brand. I was expecting much, much more. I'm looking around but I'm very confused. 😬
@@francescozoppetti999 Ah I see. Yeah the 2 Seconds tents aren't very spacious. Pretty small and low in fact. Hmm I don't have any 4 season tents to be used in the winter though :( But I do have 3 season tents that are rain resistant if you're interested (Wawona for 3 season, Base Camp for 3+ season). These tents have distinct areas, don't have dark rooms, but aren't 4 season. Are you planning to go camping in the winter?
Hey Ali! Hmm I haven't used any Zempire air tents but a couple of my camping friends swear by them! I think the quality should be really good. But they are a lot more expensive. I think if you have the money, you should go for the Zempire tents and try them out! If not, the Wawona should be a lot more affordable. I hope this helps a little!
Hi Cory! Thanks so much for the suggestion! I've actually just completed my 6-Person Tents series, and ran out of money to buy the Nemo Aurora :( I'll save up and get that in the future to update this series for sure 😊 Thanks for letting me know!
Nice review of this tent. Those are not the steaks that i am use to seeing or eating. 😂😂😂. If you fall. There is a air mattress to help you. Also, can you reach the top center of the tent? 🤔🤔. Finally, where are you located? Your voice sounds loke you have an accent.
Thank you so much again Anthony! HAHAHA oh dear did I make a typo somewhere in the video 😂😂 And yes! This tent isn't very tall so I can reach the top pretty easily. Definitely not comparable to the Eureka in terms of peak height. And I'm from Singapore! We have a weird accent here so if I spoke normally, you'd probably not understand me 😂 I usually try to pronounce my words in a more American way cos that's where my audience is located 😊
@CampingGuidance if inhad the choice between this tent and the eureka. I would pick the eureka. It is alot bigger to me. Even though this tent on the video has a room out in front to change.
@@stolnpckup Ah I see! Thanks for sharing Anthony! And no worries I totally understand that. To each their own 😊 This can be a tad bit cramped especially if you're used to cabin tents for sure!
If you had to choose between a Wawona 6 or 4, which would you pick for a couple (bf is 6ft 4) with a dog? I watched the video on the WAWONA VS BASECAMP and I'm torn between BASECAMP 4 OR WAWONA 6 OR WAWONA 4 😭 Anyone have a suggestion?
I don't recommend going for the Wawona 4! Cos it doesn't come with the attached vestibule, and you have to buy it separately, which really sucks. And between Base Camp and Wawona, that depends on which season you're camping in! The Wawona is on a fantastic sale right now, so I'd think that's more worth it. Hope this helps! 🥰
Hi Yuriy! Thanks for the question. 😊 And hmm the Wawona is a little tight even for 4, so I would say that the 4P will be even tighter. I recommend sizing up for sure, and the Wawona base area will be a little smaller than they advertise! :(
I had an older Wawona 6 and it was Terrible. The first time out in a storm the front vestibule zippers broke. Also under the wind the tent leaked Horribly!!! Maybe the new design is better, but the one i had was useless in a rain storm!
Hey Michael! Oh man I'm sorry about the older Wawona. I didn't test that one, but their newer version that I got in 2022 (this one here) is really great in rain though. No zippers breaking and no leakage at all too. 😊
Hey Paul thanks for the comments that you've been leaving on my videos, I appreciate it and it definitely helps the channel out 😊 Hmm I'm working on a video comparing this Wawona 6 to 6 other 6P tents, and to summarize, I like this Wawona the best, especially because I camp only in summer. I should have the video out in a couple of days and it should answer your question better. Sorry for the wait though!

Hi there! The front door is just mesh. There's no other cover for it (excluding the vestibule door). I wouldn't recommend it if you're camping out in cold temps or in a desert (cos the sand can blow right in). I hope this helps! 😊

Your reviews are insanely detailed and well edited.
Thank you so much Jaypher! It really means a lot to me that you think so 🥰
That is seriously the BEST tent-review I've ever seen.
That means the world to me 😊

thank you for your best review. so much effort and quality
Thanks! one of the best reviews I have seen on YT!

Got mine from Amazon yesterday because of your great reviews. Yes it is annoying that you have to come out to close the windows.

😢😂😂
Thank you so much for the review and everything that went into it. This tent is so close to being an awesome tent, yet it has so many misses, including window access and operation of the back door, and that rain fly not covering completely.
It was my pleasure Joey! Thank you for your kind words 🥰 That's true! Hopefully they fix all these issues in the next upgrade, then I can get to test it out again haha
Thanks for making this in depth review, the tests were very good and helped my decision!

Beside the Wawona 6 for the vestibule and awesome performance in the heavy rain, the other ones are:
Gazelle T4 Plus, which checks all my boxes
Core straight wall cabin tent with full rain fly
MAYBE Gazelle T-Hex
I wish you all the success.
@@chomp54321 Aww it means SO much that you like my videos. I've always thought that maybe they're boring cos I don't inject too much personality in them, but it's relieving to know that some people out there like this no-nonsense approach, like you. Thank you!! 😊😊 I really love what this channel does, testing gear and stuff, but I'm a pretty boring person in real life XD
I totally understand wanting space! A lot of my friends love car camping too, with palatial like tents hahaha. So far I haven't found anyone to go backpacking with in tiny tents, oh well. It's great that you already know what you want and need from a tent :)
Ooh as for the combination of speedy set up + weather resistance, I've heard many good things about the Gazelle T4!
It would be interesting if you eventually would share your camping trips on your channel.
Oh wow!! I haven't had an aircon tent before that's such a great idea but I think it'll cost a fortune hahaha. I think that'll be a great idea for Singapore especially XD
And thank you so much for your suggestions on the video ideas!
Thanks for an awesome review. The best and most thorough I’ve seen 👍
Thank you so much Jake! I'm really glad that you liked this review and all the details! It means a lot 😊
You are such a gift. Thank you so much for the quality reviews!!
Best camping tent reviewer on UA-cam and I watched a lot!!
Thank you so much camping guidance!!❤s
Would this tent be your ultimate pick for a vestibule tent? We are 2 people but we like extra space
I currently own a Eureka Nomad4 but sadly the mosquito screen gave up and need a replacement.
Thank you so much Francois! Your comment really means a lot to me! 🥰 And yesssss for a vestibule tent this would be my ultimate pick for sure. I LOVE the vestibule (it's the main reason I bought it hahaha)
This tent is one of the best. Zero regrets buying it. I highly recommend buying the Wawona Footprint for ground protection.
Hi Rajstein! Thank you so much for sharing about your experience! I'm really glad that you loved it! 😊 And yeah the footprint is definitely useful too!
Great review!! Very thorough and well explained, definitely helped me with my purchase…I love your accent as well 😁
Aww I really appreciate that Zack! Thank you so much 🥰
I've been searching for a tent for my girlfriend and I, and your reviews are so helpful!
Thanks for sharing Amy! That's really helpful 😊
Just ordered one from REI using your affiliate link! Excellent review!
Thank you so much for supporting the channel Jack! That truly means a lot to me 🥰
Excellent review / presentation.
Maybe one day I'll eventually get to review them all 😊
@@CampingGuidance I have owned a few Marmot tents. They are well made, vg quality. Cheers....
I was looking at a couple of Marmot tents, but they seem to have discontinued all of their 6p tents except the Limestone :(
@@utubetjc Thank you so much Tom! Really appreciate the input. I'll keep that in mind 😊
These reviews are so well done and helpful, thanks so much!
Thank you so much Nathaniel! I'm really glad that you like my reviews! It means a lot 🥰 And you're most welcome!
It won't be as good as your Wawona though sadly :(
Me again! You’re right. I think I’ll get this one instead of the 4 person. It’ll fit in the tent only spaces without the vestibule. :)
Thank you!
Amazing review, thanks for your thoroughness!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked this 🥰
Great review! Will you be doing a review of the Wawona 8 anytime soon? Very few reviews are available online. Keep up the good work!
And I think TNF also upgraded the poles, so I'm glad about that 😊
High quality review!! Great info thank you 😊
Thank you so much Alyssa! I’m glad that you liked the review and the info 😊😊
Thank you for the detailed response! Love your videos!
@@wpeng4 Thank you so much! I'm glad that I could help you out a little 😊
Amazingly dry after the deluge, good stuff !!!
I know right?! I was so surprised too, especially considering the length of the fly. Thanks so much for your comment Rob! 🥰
Buy it. We love ours.
Ah! I need to be able to open and close all windows from the inside. Great review! 😊
@@chuckg6039 HAHA. I agree. With the windows too, that was really mind boggling, in a bad way 🤯 I've never seen windows like that.
@@CampingGuidance I guess nobody wants to make a more perfect tent.
@@chuckg6039 That could be true 😅 So we'd have to buy the new upgraded releases when they come out.
Fantastic content 👌 👏 👍
You are doing a great job Thank you for your research 😍💯😍
Thank you so much Ronald! That really means a lot to me 🥰
I totally like this review thanks!!! I'm looking to buy one, do you think it's a good one for camping in temperatures like 32 to 41 F?
Thank you so much Felipe! 🥰 Hmm I've never camped in such low temps before to be honest. And this tent is more of a summer tent, so I don't think it would be the most suitable.
Excellent review! Thank you!
Thank you so much! I'm really glad you liked this 🥰
GREAT Review!
Would love to sée you compare and test the nemo highrise 6. Wondering about weather. I love your reviews
Thank you so much! That means a lot to me 🥰 I believe Nemo tents should be excellent in weather, but the vestibule's much smaller. Sorry I can't test it out for now, but maybe next time when I've got more cashflow 😊
great review thanks so much
Have you had a chance to test the North Face Wawona 8?
I actually did a video comparing the Ozark Trail and Coleman tents that I have: ua-cam.com/video/mJVMdToexyc/v-deo.html
Does this help?
Great review!! I was considering the Wawona 8. Is the vestibule to the Wawona 8 just as big?

HAHA I'm really glad you liked it jeff! 🥰
i really enjoy your videos.
Aww thank you so much! It makes me really happy to hear that 🥰
Thank you so much for all of your videos.
Great video thanks for sharing 🙏
Thank you again Romaldo! It really means a lot that you've been binge watching all my videos! 😊😊 I'm glad you liked this one too!
Can you help by telling me which 10 person tents offers the no see um mesh? Trying to stay under $300.00.
Nice review…. Is that Singapore? Looks like Asian tropical rainstorm!
Yes it is! Wow I'm surprised that you knew the exact country 🥰
You've already been incredibly sweet and it means the world to me 🥰
Very well done
Thank you so much James! I'm really glad that you liked this 😊
Your are in a tent!
Pretty awesome. What year is this? You said a friend had an old one so what do you have?
Hi Crystal! I bought the Wawona at the end of November last year! 😊 Mine's the updated Wawona with the separate fly, so I could take it off to stargaze and for more ventilation. My friend's Wawona was a single walled tent (so no separate fly). I hope this helps! 😊
Is the Vestibule Area necessary to put out every time or can you set up the tent with out it?
Wish the vestibule had mesh doors as well.
Oooh that's a great idea! haven't seen that before though sadly :(
Hi, besides camping in the winter, how do you think about using this tent for the rest of the three seasons?
@@CampingGuidance Ohh okay, I guess I have to think about it more. Thank you so much for your help!! :)

Hello Liz! Can I know which air mattresses you use in this video?
Hey Girl, so im really torn between this and those zempire air tents like the ts and tl V2 can you please help, thanksss in advance
Noted, and God bless you🙌 for replying 😊@@CampingGuidance
@@alisinaalawi8585 You're most welcome! Let me know which one you end up going with! 🥰
Thanks

Could you review the Nemo Aurora next?
Hi Cory! Thanks so much for the suggestion! I've actually just completed my 6-Person Tents series, and ran out of money to buy the Nemo Aurora :( I'll save up and get that in the future to update this series for sure 😊 Thanks for letting me know!
@@CampingGuidance Thank you, Looking forward to watching! Your reviews are the best!!!
@@Coryu805 Aww thank you so much Cory! It really means a lot that you think so 😊 Really appreciate your reply too!
North Face tents are generally seen as lower quality. I would have opted to test a Big Agnes instead.
If you had to choose between a Wawona 6 or 4, which would you pick for a couple (bf is 6ft 4) with a dog?
I watched the video on the WAWONA VS BASECAMP and I'm torn between BASECAMP 4 OR WAWONA 6 OR WAWONA 4 😭
Anyone have a suggestion?
I don't recommend going for the Wawona 4! Cos it doesn't come with the attached vestibule, and you have to buy it separately, which really sucks. And between Base Camp and Wawona, that depends on which season you're camping in! The Wawona is on a fantastic sale right now, so I'd think that's more worth it. Hope this helps! 🥰
@@CampingGuidance I ended up buying the wawona 6 due to the REI anniversary sale
@@diannaw Thank you so much for supporting the channel! Let me know how it goes if you have the time? 🥰
do you think Wawona 4 person tent is too small for 4 people?
Hi Yuriy! Thanks for the question. 😊 And hmm the Wawona is a little tight even for 4, so I would say that the 4P will be even tighter. I recommend sizing up for sure, and the Wawona base area will be a little smaller than they advertise! :(
Do you think the wanona is better than Coleman peak 1
I have not used the peak though :( But gut feeling says that the Wawona would be better 😁
Whats your favorite tent, or tents?
Hey Paul thanks for the comments that you've been leaving on my videos, I appreciate it and it definitely helps the channel out 😊 Hmm I'm working on a video comparing this Wawona 6 to 6 other 6P tents, and to summarize, I like this Wawona the best, especially because I camp only in summer. I should have the video out in a couple of days and it should answer your question better. Sorry for the wait though!
@@CampingGuidance thats great, what you is amazing and you put so much effort and detail into everything , well done, im Irish but im watching from the Philippines, great stuff thank you so much for replying too...

is the front door just mesh or is there a cover for it not including the vestabule door?
Hi there! The front door is just mesh. There's no other cover for it (excluding the vestibule door). I wouldn't recommend it if you're camping out in cold temps or in a desert (cos the sand can blow right in). I hope this helps! 😊
@@CampingGuidance thanks 👍
