I have PCOS and I remember how I felt when the doctor told me it would be hard for me to conceive I now have 4 children very successful pregnancies. God blessed me!
You can get pregnant with PCOS (I did) but you do need to change your lifestyle. I will tell my story. I am now 39 and been diagnosed with PCOS at the age of 16 as my periods were super irregular (one year I only had a period twice in a whole year). I was on a pill for more than 10 years to regulate the period, but at some point it made me depressive. At the age of 29 I decided to help myself naturally and never take the pill again. One doctor prescribed me Metformin and also told stories about difficulty getting pregnant etc. I took Metformin for a week and it made me so bloated and I put on weight, I decided to stop and never ever take these pills too. I started regularly working out. My weight went down a bit and over the years I have definitely noticed correlation between regular workouts and regular periods. If I did not work out, my period would be every 45-51 days, if I do, my periods are usually between 31-36 days. I eliminated dairy, as I have been also diagnosed with lactose intolerance. That helped a lot. I drink lactose free milk and eat some lactose free products. Elimination of dairy, especially hard cheeses is important for PCOS, read more about it. I also drink a lot of water, 2 L a day. I started taking flaxseed - it regulates hormones naturally - if you have high estrogen, it will bring it down, if you have low estrogen, it will bring it up. I buy flax seeds and ground them myself (do not buy ground) and just have a one teaspoon with hot water before going to sleep. I also started taking Shatavari from Banyan, also helps with regulating hormones, but this is my relatively new addition, so cannot tell about long term effect. Anyhow, with all of the above, I got pregnant for the first time at the age of 39 and also it was our first try with my partner. I tracked my ovulation with strips you can buy on Amazon (Mommed Ovulation and Pregnancy test, it is a bargain, 50 ovulation and 20 pregnancy tests - all for $15). They were spot on! I also use Flo app to track my period and ovulation, but it is a hit and miss if you have irregular periods, so I no longer rely on the app for ovulation tracking. I hope this post helps, this is my personal experience having had PCOS more than 20 years. Now I know PCOS is not a life time verdict. Keep the faith and do what you can control.
Thank you for sharing Catherine! I had PCOS for 10 years now! And I've been trying to conceive for a year and nothing happened! This gave me some hope.
Thank you for sharing advice about PCOS. I was diagnosed 18 months ago at the age of 35, but ‘knew’ I had it for much longer and was avoiding confronting it. My doctor was really helpful and my main concern was not having regular periods which isn’t good because not bleeding can lead to developing abnormal cells in your uterus. I was put on the progesterone only pill and persevered for 6 months until the headaches and constant spotting got too much. I decided to come off it and read some scientific research on supplements that help with PCOS. Here’s what I discovered (note: this is what I read in medical papers and it has worked to improve many of my symptoms. You should always follow proper medical advice and do your own research on reputable cites): - Cutting out (or majorly down) on dairy was one of the best things I’ve ever done. I did it before my diagnosis to help with migraine but it has also stopped some of my excessive hair growth and vastly improved the clarity of my skin. Dairy has been linked to ovarian cancer, but not enough research exists yet to fully determine how far this is true. - Taking Myo Inositol has been life changing in terms of my periods. I have a regular cycle for the first time in years, which also means my fertility has improved. Myself and my husband don’t want children, but if you read the testimonies of women who have taken this you will hear about some successes. It’s worth a try and can help alongside other prescribed medications. - Other supplements that improve the symptoms of PCOS are folic acid, zinc, vitamin b complex, N-acetyl cysteine, and L Carnitine. The first three help regulate periods and improve ovary/egg health and the last two help with insulin resistance. - Eat more protein and cut down on carbohydrates. This is good advice for most people, but anyone with PCOS should definitely consider doing this. Carbohydrates turn to sugar/insulin in the body and get stored more easily as fat. Upping my protein and actually eating more (just less carbs) helped me lose 9kg in five months. I wasn’t massively over weight but I was on the boundary according to BMI charts. I feel more like I’m in my own body now and have more confidence and energy. It was more about improving my self esteem than trying to get a ‘perfect’ body. - For hair loss, use rosemary oil on the scalp and leave on for a while before washing. Massage your scalp well and use Castor oil on the ends of your damp hair before drying. Also, sleep in a silk bun or equivalent to prevent breakage. I was shocked how much healthier my hair got overnight. - Other skin tips are to use jojoba oil at night. It’s not greasy and mimics the skins natural sebum. This means your getting moisture and softness, without risking a breakout. For spots, use salicylic acid and try to use a moisturiser that contains HA. Again, avoid dairy and eat plenty of leafy greens (spinach, kale etc). - For my mental health I take sertraline, as prescribed by my doctor, and I also take lions mane mushroom to improve my mood as well as making sure I get out for fresh air whenever I can. Sorry that this comment has gone on forever, but I really hope this advice might help someone : ) I didn’t do all of this overnight, I implemented things over a few years and slowly built up to my routine now. If you change or add one thing to your lifestyle once a month, think what you’ll achieve in a year. Be safe, be healthy and be happy with who you are ❤️
I'm skinny and have PCOS . How ever it's been 2 months since I started this diet, my acne has gone, I was so happy to see such a positive reflection. After one month, I'm planning to visit the doctor to check the severity of PCOS. I hope it goes down, so I can plan for pregnancy.
As a PCOS sufferer, I'm nearly in tears over this news. I've suffered through so much due to having pcos. To not only having discovered the cause, but be on the verge of a cure, is amazing. I hope the human trials go well.
I was diagnosed infertile at 19, told was never gonna have kids never had a regular period, pretty much checked off all the symptoms of PCOS BUT last 2 months we celebrated my daughters first birthday conceived naturally with herbs remedies
My doctor told me I have PCO, she practically brushed it off and only told me that I needed to worry about the esthetic part and that I could control it with pills. Three years later I learn that I need to change my diet, this explains so much why I gained weight and haven’t been able to lose it 😭 and my acne. Thank you!
My gynecologist suggested i lose 12kgs. With the help of my GP she advised to do the Low carb Mediteranian diet for my pcos. She told me to stay clear of the Keto diet as it isn't feasible because of the high fat content. I also added Intermittent Fasting 16/8. I've lost 7.5kgs in 2 mths because of the Mediteranian diet. I'm not missing the white bread, pastas or rice as I swapped them out for wholegrain, wholemeal varieties.
Hi, I don't know if you're aware, but a much more recent study (I think it was 2018?) found that PCOS patients are actually consuming the same things as women who do not have PCOS. That study found that while a healthy diet and exercise does help some symptoms in PCOS patients, it is still important to understand that diet affects PCOS differently than it does women who do not have PCOS or any other issue that causes IR. I just thought I'd let you know, in case you were looking for a more recent study than a 2006 study.

I dont eat processed foods or processed grains, I dont eat high carb food. I eat lots of vegetables and healthy fats and good quality meat. Im not overweight I ovulate every single month and I still have pcos. Im really tired of seeing stuff about how I just need to eat less processed food. And cookies and chips when I dont eat any of that im not overweight...there is a large group of us who have pcos who are not overweight and still eat healthy. What do we do if we already eat well? This advice is not helpful. They are probably not even differentiating between weight in these studies. You can't compare an overweight woman with pcos with a normal sized woman without pcos. You should compare overweight people to other overweight people and compare normal sized people to other normal sized people.
I hear you LOUD & CLEAR! I'm tired of the assumption that we *must lose weight or eat more healthy. I'm mostly like you. I don't normally struggle with weight too much. I'm not underweight, or overweight but there are times that I will gain weight for no apparent reason. I do not eat processed foods...I've always been a healthy eater. That's why this "groundbreaking" nonsense perplexes me. PCOS is a disorder that affects all women differently. No amount of diet has eased ANY of my PCOS symptoms. I still have major hirsutism, I struggled with infertility in my younger years, still get cystic acne...and weight loss actually worsens my PCOS for a few months. I'm tired of hearing about diet fixing PCOS. That's simply not true for a lot of us. Wish they would categorize subgroups.
I agree with all of the comments below about weight. I have never been an overweight person all my life and I am not even chubby and I have a healthy diet which includes protein and mediterranean style.. However, I have seen other people share their experiences about PCOS on UA-cam and have noticed someone also mentioned hormonal imbalance due to endocrine disruptors. Things such as pesticides in fruit, vegetables etc. or even chlorine in tap water (that is also an endocrine disruptor) and even many other factors.. So I assume there is not one solution to solve this!
You said you ovulate every mounth so that means your hormones are balanced, idk what do u want to say here cuz pcos is a syndrome hence it won't be cured 100% and as long as your symptoms are in check you're doing great.
Hi there. Just wanted to share my story. I was diagnosed with PCOS after a year of trying to conceive naturally. I was so upset and worried that I would never have a baby. I was started on metformin and clomid. On cycle 3 of the clomid I got my BFP! It can happen! Now I have a beautiful 6 month old
As someone with pcos.... the best I've ever really felt was when I was anorexic because food just makes me feel bad.... all the time... no matter what I eat...
I was diagnosed with PCOS just this morning, I had to take pills and I'm on 14, my doctor told me that i need to loss weight but it's really hard for me because I need to workout but I'm really busy because of online classes here in the PH.
Hi! I was diagnosed at 14 and put on the pill. I am 22 now and I feel like the pill has regulated my period but also caused weight gain and affected my mental health. Obviously everyone’s experience is different but I wanted to share mine with you.
I was diagnose of hormonal imbalance when I was 12 yet not confirmed as PCOS. Pills and a moderate regular eating habits plus light exercise help me regulate and maintain a not so large amount of weight. Although the pills I took has a good benefits such us lessen the facial and body hair growth, lessee hormonal acne and lesser painful menstruation it cause me to have bigger boobs and I don't like it. It cause of bullying when I was in High School. Now that I am now 27, I am now confirmed diagnose of PCOS with 2 benign cyst that has a size of calamansi. Hoping that with this new studies we can have a much effective way to lessen the causes of PCOS in our body and mind. I'm glad that in an early age you've been confirmed diagnose not like what I had to go thru 15 years before I was diagnosed with PCOS which is more scary for me coz I'm nearing 30s and I don't have a child yet.
Thanks for this video! To add to this, new research is showing the presence of leaky gut and gut dysbiosis (meaning the gut microbiome is not healthy) in those with PCOS!

I have not been diagnosed but I made an appointment. I have had 3 periods this year, sex is painful, a few hairs are darkening on my face and stomach area. My hair is thinning. I can’t get pregnant. Im so scared. I’ve avoided this for 5 years and it’s gotten so bad that I can’t even eat sugar without feeling like I’m going to pass out. I hope I get good news. But I don’t think I will. Im 23 and have had these symptoms since 16 .
Gal with pcos here. Yes all of this is true but just a heads up that pcos can be managed on any diet. I eat almost vegan and have almost no inflammation because I make the right choices for me. Pcos is not a fat sentence
@@chinnichinni1050 do you use salicylic acid? I can't rec any foods but a good moisturizer, sunscreen, a chemical exfoliant and a double cleanse would be really helpful

Childhood trauma and emotions play big role in this. Same diet can affect everyone differently. Diet can help but not healing a root cause. Working on trauma and emotions is the real root cause of any hormonal imbalances.

I start diet and all these things and i got my period (2 regular cycles) but recently it has been a week delayed, I don't have any pcos symptoms so i have no idea what is happening, it's so frustrating tbh......and yes i am having cramps for a week now , i guess i should start diet again.
I think the indian vegetarian study is a bit of a red herring. Indians consume a lot of ghee (clarified butter). It would be better to do a study that looked at low fat vegetarians. Probably eating fish was the only antidote to all that ghee. Nothing to do with the vegetables.
it’s always like the most sensitive you are to a group of food the more you enjoy eating it 🥴 or maybe it’s the opposite, because you’ve been eating so much of it you end up becoming intolerant lol

6:24 there´s something about this Study that I don´t like: "The vegetarian women from New-Delhi (n = 82 PCOS and n = 179 healthy) and non-vegetarian women from Srinagar (n = 62 PCOS and n = 141 healthy) formed the groups." I think we cannot compare non-vegetarian patients from a city with 1 million inhabitants and vegetarian patients from a mega city like Delhi.

1.Try to eliminate dairy and gluten for 6 weeks, see how you feel. 2. Eliminate added sugars, try to eat lower carb, lower glycemic index foods. 3. Increase fiber intake, eat foods rich in Zinc, eat protein rich foods with each meal, eat omega-3 rich foods. 4. Take a Vitamin D supplement (2000 iu daily). Consume chromium and inositol rich foods / supplements if needed. 5. Engage in regular moderate exercise. 6. REDUCE STRESS. Engage in yoga, meditation, breathing exercises, nature walks, spend time with, talk and express yourself to trusted friends/family, engage in self care and relaxing activities that you enjoy. 7. Improve sleep hygiene and regulate sleep. Ideally fall asleep around 10pm - 11pm, at least before midnight, get 8 hours of sleep and try to have a regular sleep and wake time. 8. Herbs: Spearmint tea, Red Raspberry Leaf, Adaptogens like Maca root, Licorice root and Vitex/Chaste berry can all help balance hormones in women with PCOS. Chamomile and Holy Basil are calming herbs to reduce stress. 9. Spices: Turmeric to lower inflammation. Cinnamon for it's insulin sensitizing properties. 10. Reduce exposure to chemicals and xenoestrogens like BPA found in plastics, as well as parabens, phtalates and others found in makeup, skin care, nail polish, cleaning products, pesticides etc. 11. Invest in a good quality water filter to filter out above chemicals as well as other chemical substances commonly found in tap water Stay positive, don't try to do everything at once, small steps are victories, be patient with yourself and stay consistent and believe that you will feel better. Best of luck.
The one thing I "like" is the fact that my PCOS makes it extremely hard to have kids. I absolutely love hearing stories of people having children despite the odds, but for those that absolutely don't want kids, I guess this is the one "silver lining" of sorts!
I have been struggling with hypothyroidism and lost of smell,I didn't know what to do felt so confused then a friend of mine introduce me to Dr iyaremoses on UA-cam channel who helped me get back to normal
It’s hard for me and would love to have a kid but I’m also okay with not having one because I’m thinking about the pain lol but I love it bc I don’t get my periods which I hate. I hate the feeling of blood. But I know it’s important for me to have it “fixed”
I think a lot of obese women actually have Kobberling type Familial Partial lipodystrophy but are being misdiagnosed with just only having PCOS, which is why thin women or 'healthy' thin women who have polycystic overies are being overlooked 🤔
Right. It is understood that certain syndromes/diseases list PCOS as a side effect. So in essence, because PCOS has a lot of variables often ignored by the medical community, it is hard to differentiate the many types of PCOS. There is a "one size fits all" approach that doesn't help if you don't fit the narrative.
Regarding the mentioned treatments in the intro: The ultimate symptom of PCOS is that you can't conceive. So why isn't the general treatment for PCOS focusing also on reproductive health? Why does there need to be different treatments for those who wish to get pregnant? See this marketing bull is why I’m looking for a natural approach and never messing with my hormones again bc most GPs couldn't give 2 shits about their patients. I ended up going to an endocrinologist who told me i had put my ovaries to sleep with all the contraceptive prescriptions i was given. Medicine is made to replace the normal function of the body and make us dependent on them.
Do you v any idea how to make hormaon balance cos I visit doctors a lot every day they are proving me medicine but still I v pcos problems with acne n unwanted hair
Same here😭 Morely im vegitarian and control my eating habit and also go for walk every morning for atleast 40 minutes also im not that much weighty too. Im 51 kg with 155 cm height. And im trying to loose a little weight but it just dont work.

What would you suggest for patients that are actually underweight and have PCOS? Im 22 yo, 167 cm but 51 Kgs... I am also from Lebanon (Mediterranean) where we consume lots of white bread and carbs....

There is a board dedicated to pcos with a lot of helpful advice. If she’s overweight , weight loss is the most important to treat pcos. However there a small group of lean pcos suffers which usually have to take medication to ovulate and therefore get pregnant.
Very nice video with relevant information. Having irregular and painful menstruation, acnes, increased weight, etc. is a very common problem for a women these days. These are the symptoms of PCOS It does not only disturb the daily activities of a person but also degrades the health. I also used to have same problem but after consulting in Planet Ayurveda and knowing about the reasons behind having this, following their herbal remedies and diet chart I get relieved from this issue in a very short period of time. Thanks.

Hy everyone I have been diagnosed with pcos for couple of years now and me and my husband is trying to conceive but is unable to do so it’s really breaking my heart my doctor put me on medication . Before we were trying to conceive my doctor put me on birth control for 3 years now it’s been almost a year since I stopped my birth control and is taking medroxyprogesterone since then for 10 days each month to make me have a period and to ovulate then after 3rd day of my period they told me to take another medicine for 4 days but it’s not working and I recently found out I’m in the early phase of thyroid too it’s breaking my heart I don’t know what to do it’s really frustrating and I feel so lonely throw out this process, nobody understands how I’m feeling it’s so scary
I have PCOS. Tried everything. About to have breast reduction surgery to help lower my weight. I do not lose weight there. My cycles even on metaformin are lucky at 5-6 times a year. Not to be a downer but I’m realistic. I’m 33 and I won’t carry a child. But there is adoption. So many children need homes and I’m okay about that. I came here more for ideas to not put the weight back on. I saw someone mention the Mediterranean diet that I could easily follow. I would love any more advice.
Hi I have always had a stable weight so can’t really speak specifically to the weight loss portion but I have pcos based on my genetics and didn’t want to take birth control but since I’ve started eating much cleaner and eat a Mediterranean diet now predominantly ofc I have a cheat meal here and there but I now have very regular periods, no longer get as much hormonal acne (maybe one tiny pimple around my cycle) and no extra hair growth (: so I would say to try it out or in general just try to avoid packaged foods, too many red meats and too much dairy and use just olive oil no bad vegetable/canola oil you will probably feel much better and fuller and also sugar try to cut added sugar as much as you can and just consume fruit/honey
No one ever talks about the 'causes' of pcos!!?? Always solutions, but what are the actial causes for pcos to develop? Why are there no medical scientists studying the causes? If you know any, please share.
It's interesting that you mention what types of foods people with PCOS tend to eat, but you never point out that the hormonal imbalance caused by PCOS is what MAKES us CRAVE those foods. You think it's mere coincidence that most people with PCOS eat fried potatoes and bread? Or do you think it's the fundamental hormonal imbalance that causes us to crave those foods? Yet another video about PCOS that is somewhat misleading/misinformed. Not a bad video. Not good, but not bad. Edited to add: saying that women with PCOS tend to eat fried potatoes and bread is like saying lions eat meat or that fish live in water. Virtually every human on this planet eats potatoes in some fried form (and if not potatoes, some other starch like rice or pasta), and virtually every human eats bread. There is literally a word in every language for bread because bread is a basic, fundamental kitchen staple worldwide. Even the Japanese adopted the word 'pan' for bread after it was introduced into their culture. It's almost like you've never lived on this planet to say that we eat bread. Have you lived under a rock in a cave your whole life, or do you just make a habit of saying asinine things on the internet? Asking for a friend.

I have pcos and doctors told me I v inbalance hormons so how can I make hormons balance n reduce my acne n unwanted hair that's grow in my body ..can you help ma plz
There is no cure for PCOS, you are born with it. But you can improve the symptoms... If you're not a healthy weight, then weight loss will improve symptoms. The right diet and exercise can help as well. If you have insulin resistance and it is preventing weight loss, you can try "Metformin". I also take the contraceptive pill to manage my hormones. I had problems with my period and taking the pill helped with that. I take "Microgynon". Hope that helps!

Here is the simple formula: • Pick a fatty meat - beef, lamb, pork, fish, etc • Add eggs of you want more food • Cook everything in animal fat or butter • Optional: add a very * _small*_ side of veggies cooked in butter. Example meals: • Bacon and eggs • Steak and eggs • Steamed shrimp and broccoli topped with butter • Hot dogs (no buns) with sourcrout and mustard • Ground beef with eggs You can add a *_SMALL_* amount of cheese to one meal a day. On keto, you should: • Eat anytime you are hungry • Eat until you are comfortably stuffed • Do not snack or graze - whenever you eat, eat all the way. • No sweeteners of any kind - your body treats them all the same even if they are "zero calorie." • Salt your food until it is very tasty to you - don't be scared of salt. • Do not eat lean meats - your body needs fatty acids and cholesterol from animal fat to rebuild your hormones

This is a great plan to follow. Just because you are under weight does not mean you should be eating white bread and rice to gain weight. Eat grass fed meats and wild caught fish. Those with PCOS tend to thrive more on organic sustainably sourced foods. If you can’t do organic or sustainably sourced then cut the gluten and processed foods if you eat them and load up on the healthy veggies and meats. Don’t think of it as a diet to lose weight think of it as a means to heal your pain! I hope this helps 💜

Today is my day 6 of talking the herbs treatment a I got from Dr iyaremoses on UA-cam, his herbs medication is the best am free from PCOS

You should always follow proper medical advice and do your own research on reputable cites):
- Cutting out (or majorly down) on dairy was one of the best things I’ve ever done.
Sorry that this comment has gone on forever, but I really hope this advice might help someone : )
I didn’t do all of this overnight, I implemented things over a few years and slowly built up to my routine now. If you change or add one thing to your lifestyle once a month, think what you’ll achieve in a year.
Be safe, be healthy and be happy with who you are ❤️
Thanks for this

I'm skinny and have PCOS . How ever it's been 2 months since I started this diet, my acne has gone, I was so happy to see such a positive reflection. After one month, I'm planning to visit the doctor to check the severity of PCOS. I hope it goes down, so I can plan for pregnancy.
Hey sis you loss the weight also
Any updates?
I would love to hear how the check up with the doctor went. I just started the diet 3 days ago and have a lot of acne
I am skinny too and have PCOS can you please tell me what did you include in your diet to cure PCOS and gain weight as well?
As a PCOS sufferer, I'm nearly in tears over this news. I've suffered through so much due to having pcos. To not only having discovered the cause, but be on the verge of a cure, is amazing. I hope the human trials go well.
The cause is unknown. What cure and human trials? wow...

My doctor told me I have PCO, she practically brushed it off and only told me that I needed to worry about the esthetic part and that I could control it with pills. Three years later I learn that I need to change my diet, this explains so much why I gained weight and haven’t been able to lose it 😭 and my acne. Thank you!
Doctors just say to take BC. My doctor does not listen to me. BC made me psychotic and made my menstrual cycle stop completely.
i hate when they do that
My gynecologist suggested i lose 12kgs.

Hi! Can u give me the link to that study?

Same here, maybe adrenal issues, stress, I don't know when you find the answer please update
There are different types of PCOS

Childhood trauma and emotions play big role in this. Same diet can affect everyone differently. Diet can help but not healing a root cause. Working on trauma and emotions is the real root cause of any hormonal imbalances.

I think the indian vegetarian study is a bit of a red herring. Indians consume a lot of ghee (clarified butter). It would be better to do a study that looked at low fat vegetarians. Probably eating fish was the only antidote to all that ghee. Nothing to do with the vegetables.

11. Invest in a good quality water filter to filter out above chemicals as well as other chemical substances commonly found in tap water
Stay positive, don't try to do everything at once, small steps are victories, be patient with yourself and stay consistent and believe that you will feel better.
It's the hardest for me.
It’s hard for me and would love to have a kid but I’m also okay with not having one because I’m thinking about the pain lol but I love it bc I don’t get my periods which I hate. I hate the feeling of blood. But I know it’s important for me to have it “fixed”
Yeah I also have autism so if my future daughter has PCOS and autism I would not want that for her
I think a lot of obese women actually have Kobberling type Familial Partial lipodystrophy but are being misdiagnosed with just only having PCOS, which is why thin women or 'healthy' thin women who have polycystic overies are being overlooked 🤔
Would you mind elaborating?

There is a board dedicated to pcos with a lot of helpful advice.
If she’s overweight , weight loss is the most important to treat pcos. However there a small group of lean pcos suffers which usually have to take medication to ovulate and therefore get pregnant.
As far as difficulty conceiving goes, losing just a little bit of weight can give you a fertility window.

Thank you for this
It's interesting that you mention what types of foods people with PCOS tend to eat, but you never point out that the hormonal imbalance caused by PCOS is what MAKES us CRAVE those foods.

My question to u, if there is insulin resistance in PCOS, wouldn't a "high fat" diet, have a further negative effect on insulin resistance?
I have it too, and my experience is that a high fat diet with meat will lead to high cholesterol, which make insulin resistance worse.
@@rotkappchen1357 Exactly! This is my point thou. The science behind these diets are very much important but not everyone knows this!

Very informative video. Thank you for this. My sister-in-law suffered from this disorder and it's a painful condition I know that but we were lucky enough to get treated by Dr. Vikram Chauhan. His herbal medicines and Dietary modifications helped my bhabhi a lot to get rid of her problem. I recommend his treatment to everyone whosoever is suffering from ovarian cyst.
What was his diet? My herbal doctor has told me to be meat free and egg free. I wanto ask if eggs r safe?
Thank you you're so right! I am also skinny and at a healthy weight and have pcos.

Complete garbage. I have PCOS and have always preferred a Mediterranean diet and never been bothered by cookies and chips that much. I still find weight difficult to shift.
Surgery and medication are not the best way to get rid of PCOS. There is a traditional herbal remedy to get rid of PCOS completely and permanently without side effects. Contact Dr breeze herbal home on UA-cam

I really need a KETO Meal Plan for pcos🙁
Here is the simple formula:
• Pick a fatty meat - beef, lamb, pork, fish, etc
• Add eggs of you want more food
• Cook everything in animal fat or butter
• Optional: add a very * _small*_ side of veggies cooked in butter.
Example meals:
• Bacon and eggs
• Steak and eggs
• Steamed shrimp and broccoli topped with butter
• Hot dogs (no buns) with sourcrout and mustard
• Ground beef with eggs
You can add a *_SMALL_* amount of cheese to one meal a day.
On keto, you should:
• Eat anytime you are hungry
• Eat until you are comfortably stuffed
• Do not snack or graze - whenever you eat, eat all the way.
• No sweeteners of any kind - your body treats them all the same even if they are "zero calorie."
• Salt your food until it is very tasty to you - don't be scared of salt.
• Do not eat lean meats - your body needs fatty acids and cholesterol from animal fat to rebuild your hormones
Currently on metformin stopped using it because it was not doing anything now I’m kinda considering taking it again
I found it took a while for the Metformin to work for me but now it really has helped

i have pcos and im underweight
This is a great plan to follow. Just because you are under weight does not mean you should be eating white bread and rice to gain weight. Eat grass fed meats and wild caught fish. Those with PCOS tend to thrive more on organic sustainably sourced foods. If you can’t do organic or sustainably sourced then cut the gluten and processed foods if you eat them and load up on the healthy veggies and meats. Don’t think of it as a diet to lose weight think of it as a means to heal your pain! I hope this helps 💜

According to google, red meat is a red flag for PCOS. So Keto is out of the question
KETO DOESN'T MEAN RED MET BUT MORE FISH AND CHICKEN and less frequently red meat, maybe once or twice a week. KETO + MEDITERANNEAN IS A PERFECT COMBO

Very interesting, feeling how the bloating and pain receded within approximately two months made all the difference, I simply go’ogled the latest by Tilly Strankten and her Ovarian Cyst Guide and although it really took about 10 weeks for it to totally shrink and vanish I’ve never felt so light and relaxed.
