    i have been on and off using blender for about a year but i'm really going hard on it over the next 12 months, thank you for this video

      As I mentioned in the video, I gave up on it a couple times myself. It is quite frustrating at first, I totally get it. It's really hard at first but when you push through, it is incredibly rewarding. So keep at it, don't give up! Good luck with the next 12 months! I'll be looking forward to your animations and renders!

      Ah yes! I spend a lot of time trying to line up the camera before I knew about the walk navigation and the tilde key.
      I’m glad you found the tips useful!
      You can also use f3, type; “align camera to view” right click and add it to your quick favorites.
      You line up the camera outside the camera’s view, press Q and click; align the camera.
      Quick favorites are also a great feature!

    Nice video, Im trying to learn Blender, I started a few days ago and I'm about to finish the donut tutorial, first time i joined Blender I've been trying to do something without watching any tutorial but I realized that it was a dumb move since there are good tutorials out here. Thank you for this video and your motivation, I hope I'll become a good 3D modeler so I can use both my developing skills and 3D modelling skills to make something really cool!

      @@onurerdurak After a few days using blender I tried to do a sword an it's wonderful, I really liked it, I'll just continue making swords and shield or any kind of other equipments, I'll try to make more complex one in the future, but for now, only the donut tutorial made me a good starting point

      İyi add-onlar kullanmani öneririm. Navigasyon için okları degil “G” tuşunu kullanmani öneririm.
      Bunun dışında diger programlardan geçmekle alakalı bir deneyimim olmadığı ici, başka tavsiyem yok. Blendera geçişinde başarılar dilerim. Hayırlı olsun diyelim :D

    how do you make and animate your characters??

    • @onurerdurak
      @onurerdurak  Рік тому

      My characters usually only do simple head or arm moves, I do those by hand. Anything like, walking or jumping I use mixamo or actor core.

    Everything you said is beneficial when trying to learn anything at all. Small chunks at a time, diversify your sources, look slightly ahead for encouragement, all good. Then you throw in your “biggest secret” of 10 years of filmmaking? Come on, you essentially said the best way to learn blender is to start 10 years ago in film school. Should have left that part out.

    • @onurerdurak
      @onurerdurak  Рік тому

      Ah I can see how that can be misinterpreted.
      I wanted to include a section shining a light on my prior experience since the question I get a lot, and the first part of the video title is “How I learned blender?”
      So, that part is personal information about me which connects to my next point in the video, learning about filmmaking translates into 3D.
      I did not say anything about film school.
      Nonetheless, I see your point.
      Maybe I could’ve structured the video differently or worded that bit better.
      Thank you for your comment! 🙌
